This is actually dogshit in practice. The action combat is extremely basic, has 0 impact and takes 100x the button presses to accomplish a simple stun that a single button used to do. Enemies have too much hp to just kill directly with the action combat but getting the stun off does so much damage that all it takes is one attack in turn based to kill them. It's a shitty compromise made to try to trick actionfags into playing a turn based game but it absolutely neuters the turn based gameplay to accomplish that.

Trails has always fucking sucked in every single way. Character, story, the MUH SCRIPT that every retard jerks themselves over, the gameplay and the music.
Ouroborus is genuinely the worst villain group in any game I've played and it certainly isn't helped by the fact that most of them are parts of each character's mysterious past so they have to constantly resort to attempting to talk no justsu'ing them and "I won't kill you because... I just won't, ok?"
Walter would have gotten curbstomped on that flying city, but no he's muh Zane's GF's bull so I can't kill him!
Renne should have been killed for what she did in the Liberl capital but she's le cute grill who is friends with Tifa so I can't kill her!
