My issue with the remake,FF 15, ff16 is all the characters have more or less the same face. Dead eyes, clean look, uninspired anime hair. They also have to get rid of mmo quests. Going back to world map/level maps seems smart, idk why e33 had to do it before FF did it again. Ff15 imo did everything wrong it could.

The character interactions and dialogue in rebirth are great. Its literally the only 3d FF with good writing in that department and not nearly as weeby as 13 or 15

No. Now is an opportunity for FF to take a long, hard look at itself and decide to be better. A brave person has to stand up to the executives so that the series can finally give gamers what they want, after 25 long years.

I doubt it. Being able to first walk on open world, then swim, then fly is very neat progression and I doubt they'll scrap it. Fully Open world RPGs don't work as ff15 proves where the final fantasy part only starts when open world ends (meaningless).
So it's going to be a turn based version of FFXII.
