How is it going bros ? Have you already reached 2nd zone
Restarted game trying to kill Caradoc during prologue, it's taking time
Tainted Grail
How do you even kill that cunt during prologue ...
He one shots me whenever he hits me with magic/bow and my ranged attacks don't do enough damage.
The patch fixed my fucked up framerate on PS5, anyone else experience this?
every item you sell to a merchant stays forever in their buy back inventory and bogs your game down
every item you put in your stash also bogs your game down
save bloat is going to be a real problem with this game
Anyone managed to find a SINGLE new Summon spell in Act 3 yet?
I just stayed back, lead him around barely out of reach of melee range, dodged the odd fireball and spammed the light bleed spell and chugged mana potions to keep the bleed multiplier up and interrupt him from healing.
I'm sure fire and burning works too, but bleed stacks damage and resets the debuff every time it hits. Then you just gotta keep that up for a couple of minutes.
Thanks will try that !
did you choose the captain or galahad?
There's two in the tomb of the unknown knight. It's over by the berserker village.
Thanks, any good Caster sets in Act 3 as well besides the femslut tier Act 2 boss ones?
Besides the Archdruid ones from shrines
I just don't wanna look like a tranny but that Lich Queen set is too good...
Does anyone else have this issue? When I'm turning in any direction, this jagged polygonal object keeps appearing on my screen. I thought it was my cloak or something, but when I took it off, it still happens.
I think it's my armor glitching out. I've seen some weird shit where NPCs fall off a ledge and their arm will turn elastic and basically bungie jump them. Funny as it may be, it's somewhat annoying.
Specs for reference:
64GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
2560x1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Monitor
Intel Core i7-10700K | 3.80GHz
Lastly, I have VSync disabled. Dynamic Resolution 100% (widescreen monitor). Headbob/Motion Blur/Screen Shake off. Overall quality Medium/High.
I didn't play much of Act 3, and to be honest, there's not much content unfortunately. Act 3 seems really half baked. I managed to get my 2 hander build to ridiculous power levels and you can skip to the end of the main quest and I was getting bored so I did. Thinking about starting up a mage though.
Oh! The Jester's tomb in act 2 has a decent chest
two in the tomb of the unknown knight. It's over by the berserker village.
Wait, doesn't that require you to get the Crown so be at the end of Act 3?
Yeah
Follow-up: I did some digging, and I think it's a Dynamic Resolution issue. It seems directly tied to anti-aliasing, which is disabled when Dynamic Resolution is enabled. Going to try TAA for a bit and see if it resolves the issue.
Sorry for the rant.
I ought to replace the pickaxe, but bonking people with it feels too satisfying
What does killing Cardoc do?
Also, when can you fight him?
You get loads of levels, good equipment and most importantly he stops running around trying to destroy other soul shards of best bro Arthur
time for bee pussy
GalaCHAD
Oh shit, it just removes him from the story entirely?
I'm surprised the game has the balls to do that since from what I've seen, he's plot important.
Also, cheese spell is amazing, but lack of exp is sad
have to fight Gawain AND the Green Knight
well thats a fun item. wonder if its actually any good
Is the whispers bug something that impacts everyone? Around the Galahad part in the first zone, Arthur had 2 options to ask about Galahad. One would talk about Galahad, the other talked about the previous whisper I had unlocked.
Now it seems like sometimes I can't check a whisper when it appears. Also, the whisper about Merlin near the end of the first zone doesn't work at all.
I've just been saving before talking at the bonfire and loading afterwards, as that seems to help, but it's still annoying.
Can you let me know if you get a leg armor from Gawain? I have all the other pieces but I'm not sure if I just missed looting the legs or what, and want to know what they do.
frogslop
Where do I find more armor recipes to craft
The best I got is still the knight armor from the blacksmith
same for me, Arthur hasn't spoken to me in like 10 hours at the camp
Do the blacksmith's questline, he'll give you recipes for a good chunk of armors. You can find those recipes out and about too.
You can also rush to the all mothers temple to meet the Dal Rita Tribe, their blacksmith has more armor recipes. There's no real dangerous consequences for doing so.
Can I only get the bonus damage from backstab with daggers? I found some cool 1-handers but it would suck if I lost that bonus
How is the game? Seems fun.
I'll try to complete more of his quests and then go to the dal whatever
What am I supposed to do about that ghost knight that starts attacking you at night at the start of Act 2. I do no damage to him, and he just keeps showing up. Am I supposed to not go out at night, and only sleep in the village until I can beat him?
you are supposed to get the fuck away from him
Did not receive any pants, fucking kino battle and music anyway
Use a bleed build. Get some points in the skills that boost debuff damage and stack bleed on him for a few minutes. For Mages if you eat food + use either the blood drain spell or self heal spell while you spam life transfusion quick cast you'll rack up tons of bleed while topping yourself off.
Did (You) join the alchemists guild in act 1?
Kill it.
I used a 2hander (red death greatsword+4) and a shit ton of food. Parry/dodge what you can and if you take damage mash the food button. I also had a bleed relic on my weapon so that somewhat helped I think (bleed has really shit dps in my experience)
sets things around you on fire
requires Practicality
kek
booty calls a random adventurer
Does she ever explain why, or is it just because you’re good at bashing heads?
on one hand Galahad is being very obviously telegraphed as pure evil, it seems the writing didn't think there should be anything more than him than "what if valiant knight... is actually BAD" and that's that
on the other hand, the Keeper Captain and the tribesmen are such charisma vacuums, their goals are vague and nebulous, and they have the manners of thieves
i wish i could progress without choosing either
i wish i could progress without choosing either
You can though. You just leave the South Horns at status quo. Just activate the kings soul power and pull out Excalibur yourself while chugging potions
You actively lose out on story content by choosing Galahad iirc, and a lot of the game responses treat it like you killed him anyway apparently.
Just watch the Sewal stuff on youtube. The South Horns shit literally does not matter at all regardless of your choice.
want amazing stats?
wear this fucking clown outfit
This game needs transmog so damn bad
zanzibart-core
I fucking love this game. Just wish the character creation was a bit more fleshed out.
I wish the 3rd person animations weren't offensively bad. I know they warn you but man is it bad.
Is Charred Conclave the last area of the game?
Just wondering before I reach some point of no return
Are there more than three of these books?
Is there a stash for your items? I'm going insane
Yes. Once you enter you cannot leave either. If you want the "true" ending make sure you've visited all 3 secret areas unlocked with the arthurian items in each map + all 5 knight tombs, 1 in South Horns, 2 in 2nd map, 2 in 3rd map. Also be prepared to be disapointed in the final fight and ending regardless of which you get
Alright.
If anything I was extremely disappointed by how fucking poor gear/spell wise Act 3 is.
Not a SINGLE mage set outside of the slut ones from Act 2 bosses, barely any new weapons/armor too. Despite the fact there are plenty of areas to explore, feels like they just didn't bother adding unique gear to the chests.
And getting 2 new summons before the fucking final dungeon instead of the whole of Act 3 is retarded
Yeah, check out chest on your compass when you are in any settlement.
more i hear about act 3 the less i want to do it. sounds like baldur's gate 3 act 3 during launch before big patches
feels like they just didn't bother adding unique gear to the chests.
Yes this is something I felt was off in act 2 and act 3. In act 2 it feels like they just gave all the unique gear to the minibosses, bandits and bosses, but you can find a few other sets out and about. Act 3 is just piss poor. So many godamn chests in caves that have nothing in them, even chests hidden in secret walls you need to mine don't have good loot.
nd getting 2 new summons before the fucking final dungeon instead of the whole of Act 3 is retarded
I did find a couple spells atleast. The Remor Warrior summon is hilariously broken. For some reason it has a 10x bigger healthpool than even stuff like the battlemage.
Act 3 really didn't pull me in at all, and I was bored of the entire map being infested with skeletons and undead just standing around in the snow doing nothing. In act 1 and 2 atleast they're wandering around cemeteries, desecrated villages and spooky forests.
I just arrived on the third map, can't wait to finally get to Camelot.
The Remor Warrior summon is hilariously broken
Oh shit where is that one? I really need it
I only found the ones inside the tombs after the Crown which are kinda overpriced MP wise and you can't have more than 1 at a time of the same like Summon Gahalad
It's in "remors' cave" next to the frozen lake fast travel. It's in a locked chest near where the priest who heals the monster is from this webm
I'm enjoying melee a lot more than magic. Some of the armor and two handed perks in particular are pretty crazy.
two handed melee is fun against strong two handed enemies
if they hit you you're done but you can dodge, you can try to hit them they'll dodge too but if you're fast enough your can flick your camera to and catch them despite the dodge and you'll feel like Neo from the Matrix
Is there a single Staff/Wand with more than +10% Spellpower?
I swear I'm at endgame and never found one better...
I am shooting people with that spark spell and it's going fine, but I killed that edgy knight who offered to kill me and got a cool melee set so I'm really considering using my respec pot for heavy armor two hander before I go much further.
Back peddling endlessly while shooting projectiles is not super fun
how feasible is a summoner armored melee guy? Spread too thin? I thought it might be nice to use that mana for something is all
last update wiped lot of saves
It'll be more annoying for you rather than anything else. Melee summons will get in the way and ranged summons will hit you in the back.
Probably still useful for certain bosses or big groups but it feels like wasted points instead of making yourself tankier or stronger
I'm still around the fort in the Horns because I feel like I need to do all the side quests but it seems like every NPC has one.
hand "armor" is a bangle and long nails
