I really like it, but there's really not much to say about it. It is about on par with the base game of Sims 4 which is a great sign considering it will get free updates.

It's exactly like that with only 2 improvements over sims being GRAFIX and build mode. It's also extremely early access. It did make me install sims again for the first time in a decade, I guess that counts as good foundamentals. I'll check back in a year or two to see if they added enough content to count as actual early access and not paid playtesting or if it's abandoned

I haven't played in the american city but the gook town only generates gook NPCs outside of the few premade ones. I don't know if that's a feature of the location or the korean character creators that always struggle to make not korean looking faces

all the gameplay I've seen looks like clunky garbage. I understand that the character creator is great, hence why nobody is talking about anything else, but that was already out as a free demo so why even buy the game?

They just need to make face shapes and adjust them little by little in scale to make them generate at least decent looking faces. There's only so many facial types and body types one can get usually so not sure what's the hold up on that.

It sucks. Zois are lifeless dolls. They have no personality. The UI is a bloated mess and socialization between zois feel like a series of menus where the focus is less on actually seeing the characters interact with each other like in Sims. Building and decorating is unintuitive and restrictive. Women will not like or stick with this game which means the core audience of the Sims is firmly in EAs control still.

I've never heard of a Korean developer supporting a game for longer than a year straight without abandoning it. They're going to hit a legally required minimum and then stop, then they're going to make InZOI 2 which will be the exact same game with slightly newer graphics, and you'll buy it again.
