I need some good mobile games. No gacha.

how did he take a picture of his phone?
Emualte half life 1with ps2 emu
Nothing above GBA is comfortable emulating
His mind
He obviously moved his phone faster than light
Learn to claw grip or or get a Bluetooth controller. You're missing out on classic armored core on your phone among other things.
I have a Steam Deck for those kind of games, I just want something to play when work is quiet my brother
There isn't much for good mobile games as most actual games(not skinner boxes) of android are ports from other platforms. That and emulation are the bulk of mobile gaming that isn't findom.
Beam dog is cringe but they ported some of the good olds to android with the remastered. There's also an open source civ 5 clone with bulit in modding support.
position phone with game
move at five times the speed of light and close the app
go to the photo app
move your hand back to take a photo of the afterimage before it fades
Some of the Netflix mobile ports are alright; if you've not played The Case of the Golden Idol, it's worth a playthrough.
Mirrors.
lichess, sudoku, 1024
it's all you will ever need
There's a modest number of good games to go around. You want them free or paid? Which genres?
Either, just something decent and not design to drain money
Then I'll just dump the ones I played the most. Some are on Play Pass which I recommend for pump-and-dump playing.
simpler games to play anytime
Simon Tatham's Puzzles, Higgster's Games Compendium, Ice Cream Disaster, Seedship, HyperRogue, Hoplite, Vroomies
strategy-ish games
Bad North, Kingdom Two Crowns, Iron Marines (Play Pass), Solar Settlers, Mini Metro, Rusted Warfare, Mindustry, Antiyoy, Egypt: Old Kingdom, Xenowerk Tactics
RPG and stuff
Epic Battle Fantasy 5, Path of Adventure, 80 Days, Slice & Dice
Thank you, the one based anon here
nethersx2.org
Nigger this is malware scam. You need to patch apk yourself to get legit version.
Zenonia
Clash Royale is a fun stupid game I can tap away at mindlessly and see things die
Astral projection
Nothing above GBA is comfortable emulating
DS games feel more natural than anything else to emulate on a phone.
How is Stardew on Mobile?
Slay the spire, I play it on train rides
i played Pizza Vs Skeletons like a decade ago and then stopped having a cellphone
Coromon
Kingdom Rush series, mini metro, plague inc
Lichess, colorful stage, mahjong soul, clash royale
Baba Is You and Grid Autosport got mobile ports
Just emulate bro >OK
No problem. If you want to look for more games on your own, try the Minireview site, it's easier to find the good stuff than in the store app because of tags, filters, sorting and user collections.
NintoddIers are convinced this is peak gaming
I like tower fortress by nitrome
I need some good mobile games.
The Phoenix Wright games are pretty good on mobile if you haven't played them before.
My recs:
Final Fantasy I-IV
Dragon Quest (any of the ports)
Wizardry Variants Daphne (inoffensive gacha but actual game)
Infinity series (Text-based CYOA)
The Witcher: Thronebreaker
20 Minutes Till Dawn
Burrito Bison
King of Dragon Pass
The Room series
Slice & Dice
Buriedbornes II
Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven
Sorcery! series
Basically any retro shit emulated or ported, or pixelshit that is ported (mostly roguelites), or text-based games or VNs.
Emulation IS your best friend. Beyond that give these a try:
Shattered Pixel Dungeon
SuperTaxKart
Mindustry
All open source and available on f-droid.
Exiled Kingdoms
I found recently there's Civ VI on android. The biggest time devourer genre, perfect for a long flight to pass in an instant.
the reason its hard to find good games for phones is that most people think a good phone game is just a normal console or PC game played on the phone, but thats wrong. good phone games are ones that you can pull out and get into really quickly, play for as long as you want, but also quit at a moments notice without a problem.
a good game would be tetris, if the controls for it were simple enough, which they arent. tetris is unironically too complex to play on a phone.
something that is very similar but works 100x better is suika game. for me its one of the best mobile games currently on the market.
another game i can recommend a lot, but takes a bit more commitment, shattered pixel dungeon. due it it being a true roguelike it has near infinite replayability, but its also fully turn based, so you can stop it at any moment. i unironically dont know of many other games like this because most are just filled with microtransaction skinner box bullshit, but occasionally you find a gem you can play for literal years before you grow tired of them.
(You) don't even know what game that is
good mobile games
There aren't any. Just install some emulators and get a bluetooth gamepad.
I always like recommending Cardinal Quest 2 in mobile threads. It's pretty simple, but damn if I still don't enjoy going back to it.
Also FF Dimensions. The first one. It's a bit rough to look at but I also really enjoyed its job system. Felt like a good mix of FF3's and FF5's.
I'll try and suggest games other anons havent suggested.
Loop Heronplays pretty well, identical to the pc version but cheaper.
Moonshades is a pretty nifty dungeon crawler.
InflationRPG is an arcade rpg style game where you have 50 fights to get to stats as ridiculous as possible.
Dicey Dungeons also plays really well.
Koi-koi Japan is kind of buggy but at least works if you like koi-koi.
ElementTD and BloonsTD if you like tower defense games. ElementTD has text too small for me to enjoy though.
Night of the Full Moon, Meteorfall, Card Hog if you're looking for card games.
ex astris: $10, no gacha, no other monetization or micro transactions, not open-world, turn-based space fantasy rpg
roco kingdom: $0, no gacha, monetization strictly for cosmetics, open-world, turn-based monster collection like pokemon with visuals similar to genshin
emulation: i am myself playing ds pokemon games on my phone, it's fun
For me, it's Sudoku.
Slice & Dice
I can't see myself balancing a phone on my knee while I awkwardly hold a bluetooth controller that somehow fit in my pocket this whole time
Bloons TD6, Dungeon Clawler and Dicey Dungeons are pretty fun. All paid too.
Candies n Curses was fun for the first few unlocks and Necro Witch is cute.
I was thinking about doing this for emulation, but I'm too poor so I might just try using my phone on it's stand and a ps4 controller. I expect bluetooth to lag I never tried it.
Candies n Curses was fun for the first few unlocks
Yeah, but beating the EX levels without a sword is nigh impossible for me.
I like Grim Quest
Rate
Sauce?
If you like roguelikes get Shattered Pixel Dungeon.
It's free (there's a suggested contribution to dev, but it's completely unintrusive) and it's fun
What are you doing on it? Playing full games of chess?
Nonograms. I use the nonograms katana app
Do something productive instead and get Anki and learn something.
here you go bro
A lot of shitty dungeon crawlers in here. Anyone got some good puzzles or logic type games that you can just pickup and play and stop playing asap or think about the answer for a while and come back to it. You know quick little games like op suggested he wanted?
puzzles and logic type games
Why not play those bangladeshi mobile game slop from the playstore then. Alot of those fit the bill.
Example please
I'm using retroarch
Bloons
Very noice
Do you have autism? Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.
Simon Tatham's Puzzles
Looks good thanking
Why not the original Pixel Dungeon?
