What are you going to do with the wire? Stick it up your ass?

ZOOM ZOOM NEED WIRELESS

WIRED DUMB

ZOOM ZOOM!!!!

Because that cord is obviously too short. What are you going to do? Sit right in front of the console like you're still living in the third world?

Hyperkin Xenon. Or buy an in-box 360 controller off Ebay.

Next question.

console

console

I'm sorry, consuela.

most wireless ones can be used wired just by pluging it in via the charging port.
my guess is they dont wanna deal with the battery

Just connect the gamepad with the usb cable.
I have never used the wireless function in my Vader 4.

No.

this implies there are liquid and gaseous wired controllers

Use your USB cord boomie

fuck you mean no

Hori Switch Pro

wifi = cooks your brain. amazing how nobody seems to care any more.

It's crazy how there STILL aren't any third party PS5 controller.
Just leave out all of the internal bloat garbage that makes those things expensive to make. First thing I did when I booted up my PS5 was disable the haptic feedback anyway.

gamesir G7 is very nice. it has some extra buttons that it wants you to install their chink software for but i simply dont use them, and the extra back buttons can be locked up with little switches, so you arent constantly pressing them. not that you can use them without their software though.

I'm guessing it's the anon that specifically wanted a hardwired controller because he had a usb port go bad on him once
Personally I'm at two or three hardwired cable deaths (all madcatz) and zero usb-c port deaths so I can't relate, but I can understand the autism when you've been burned

Just never unplug it, that's what I do.

Ah yes , gamesaar is very very nice product saar.

Solution: control with detachable and interchangeable cable

yet people who've lived on warships with jammers and radars burning a hole in the space time continuum don't suffer from any noticeable damage.

They do. Use USBC cord if you want wired.

But waaa I don't want the cord to be replaceable.

Idiot.

8bitdo does solid wired controllers

30 yo boomer here. Wireless peripherals mog wired ones.

b-but muh latency input!

nah, you just suck at games and your brain cant process things quick enough so you just assume theres a delay in things. lol
ive been playing games mostly on wireless devices now since i dont like the desk clutter and have had ZERO issues with anything. even when i play rhythm games.

gone are the days were wireless means high input lag friend

including you

The sexbox sexseries sex XXX controller comes with a USB port and a charging cable that allows you to use it while connected even without batteries inside. It's what I use for my wired controller fix after my 360 controllers died.

technically most controllers are partially amorphous solids (many polymers)

Hard-wired controller

no battery bullshit

no bluetooth / 2.4ghz pairing nonsense

no vibration

What's the best controller when you travel a lot? (understand a small but efficient one)

What are you going to do? Sit right in front of the console like you're still living in the third world?

That shouldn't have made me laugh as hard as it did. At any rate longer cords should be available out there somewhere.

This post is suspicious

British.jpg - 267x472, 49.96K

thinking it's all about input lag

can't comprehend someone just not wanting to deal with batteries

Everything connected to my PC is wired

A bootleg*

You can hoop this thing and bring it anywhere.

not wanting to deal with batteries

is it really that hard for people to just dock your controller on a charging port when youre not playing?
im sure you faggots have to charge your phone too, right?

oh and i know youre probably going to bring up something about the battery dying while playing a game.
well, maybe that just shows youve been playing games too much. lol

It's taiwanese

Why would I waste money with charging docks and shit when I can just set aside my device when I'm done?

I mean my xbox s controller sues the same charging cable as my phone not really a hastle got a bunch fo those lying around.

just ignore this problem, then it isn't a problem, right?

just buy more shit to compensate for the problem instead of fixing the problem

The problem is resolved by undoing the bad decision of putting batteries in a controller and adding more points of failure.
It's not a handheld, I'm not carrying it around with me; I'm connecting it to a stationary device.

My first wireless controller was a PS2 controller all the way back in 2004, I never wanted to go back

First thing I did when I booted up my PS5 was disable the haptic feedback anyway.

Idiots like you is why controllers stop innovating.

looks uncomfortable

how is it for FPS?

it need to have analog sticks

Shanwan seems to be the only brand that puts hardware beyond the bare minimum into pocket-sized controllers, but nobody does proper testing or in-depth reviews on this market segment so I couldn't tell you how they hold up in practice. My SN30 and N30 both drifted within a few months, so if you're going 8bitdo I'd go Lite.

the indians of the asian continent

it need to have analog sticks

The second rev has analogue sticks, but I think that might catch on you if you were trying to hoop it and bring it to the yard.

battery dies

use it wired anyway

wow that was hard

Current wireless technology performs on par if not better as far as latency goes and the market doesn't fucking want some piece of crap that will become a brick the second the wire bends too many times at the top or at the bottom.
Literally the only issue with Wireless these days is that the Shittiest Controller standard (xbox) is also the only one left who uses standard AA batteries so everything else is a ticking time bomb to become e-waste even beyond retarded shit like

Durr HEY BINGTENDO HERE

YOU CAN'T USE A WIIMOTE LMAO WHY? NO REASON xD GO BUY MORE JOYCONS LMAO

pac.jpg - 320x240, 15.78K

Hori probably

enjoy your innovative vibrator faggot

Current wireless technology performs on par if not better as far as latency goes

source? doubt

some piece of crap that will become a brick the second the wire bends too many times

removable cable

removable cable

No point in NOT making it wireless at that point then.
Plus the physical connector can break if it's engineered wrong which is why every controller gets those goofy ass charging stands.

I preferred wired 360 controllers since they didn't have the battery hump and were lighter, not sixaxis lighter but noticeable enough. Every controller these days is a wireless controller with a wired option, which isn't so bad now with USB-C, but I can definitely relate to being annoyed that there are no hardwired options whatsoever. Hell Logitech mice even went that direction and the included USB cable is rubber instead of braided.

Nevermind I got it wrong, wired g502s still exist but the wire is rubber now. I got the wireless one so I could replace the wire.

don't suffer from any noticeable damage.

They do, it's just harder to sue the military, than it used to be.

Just buy an Xbox controller. I've had my wired Xbox controller for like 12 years now. I just recently bought a wireless Xbox controller because the nubs on the wired one were worn out due to the gayming I've been doing but I still have the wired one as a backup.
amazon.com/PowerA-Wired-Controller-Xbox-gamepad-x/dp/B08F4444HM
Wait, you can do that!? It's not just for charging??

just buy the xbox one controller for windows and grab shit like eneloop pro, perfectly fine and lasts like 30 hours.

Get one of these usb cords with magnetic connector ends. It will change your life. There’s a million varieties.

Wait, you can do that!? It's not just for charging??

Fun fact, the 360 controller can deliver inputs over the play and charge wire, it just doesn't unless you have software specifically for it

just keep the controller plugged in? all of them work over wired mode.
you want a solid 360 clone? try the 2023 hyperkin one, it's pretty good with some xsex upgrades and same poor dpad

Better latency

console

Hello third worlder

Unironically get the gamesaar. Been using it for years and all my controls has problems but not this one. It has magnetic sticks so no stick drift, a lot of extra features if you care about that and 2 buttons on the back all that just for 30 bucks. I shan't ever talk shit about china again bro, 3rd party is where the shits at.

pop the rechargeable battery out of my controller to test this shit

it fucking works as a wired controller to my computer

Dear God. This should be a major selling point on the front page. Why did it not advertise this feature!? When I first got this newfangled wireless one a month ago, I immediately noticed a skip in button presses over Bluetooth wireless and got a little mad, but just "whatever"'d it. I didn't realize you could just make it a wired controller as well. Holy shit.

trusting someone who posts a link with that many trackers attatched.

Because they can make more money selling you battery packs.

great spans

Why did it not advertise this feature!?

To sell you one of these or a whole dedicated wireless controller.
That being said it seems like you're talking about an xbone/xbex controller rather than a 360 one, and those just wire to a PC no bullshit involved.

goonga.jpg - 784x1080, 90.04K

wireless

Wired
I'm pissed and exhausted.
This was a mistake on my part.

Every cable is replaceable if you're not a solderlet.

That's not a reasonable standard.
t. solderer

the 360 clone is a solid controller, even the duke one is pretty good if you got big meaty hands

not a given
ds4 has better latency over bluetooth than usb for instance

well boomer I guess it doesn't help that MGS4 was the last game to make great use of rumble

if you can tell the difference, on a controller, you are superhuman, congrats.

what is it with boomorrhoids and their obsession with bluetooth cables? You're like 30 dude whatever "latency" you think you can feel is just your decaying reflexes

Why the fuck doesn't anyone make a solid wired controller?

All current official Xbox controllers work over USB even if you don't install batteries in them. Why do you need a dedicated wired controller when you can just plug a USB cable into a wireless one? It's double the functionality.

That being said it seems like you're talking about an xbone/xbex controller rather than a 360 one, and those just wire to a PC no bullshit involved.

That's exactly what I was talking about. I have a 360 wired one with like a 30 frickin' foot long cord which is cool, but like I said, I bought some Xbone wireless controller and a rechargeable battery pack/cord like a month ago. Just tested the wired function of it and it seems to work. I'll have to test it all out and make sure it isn't sending signals over Bluetooth or something still. I did notice the controller just wouldn't register a button hit here and there and it almost got me killed in a fast-paced action game.
Also: good and bad news: the rechargeable battery pack and cord I bought just shit out on me. The USB "wall wort" got its' pins all bent and one end of the cord almost came apart so that's gay. I'm still glad for the rechargeable battery, but that's pretty disappointing from an officially licensed M$ product that the cord and pluggy-innie thing just decided to take a shit for no reason. Still, I tested the controller wired with some random USB-C cord I had lying around and it seemed to work.
And last update in my longpost: I turned off Bluetooth on my computer and tried to test if it was actually transmitting inputs through the cord and it also seems to be valid. So any USB-C cord works I guess. I thought some of them were power-only but this one transmits signals. Neat. Now all that's left is testing if there are any input mishaps through wire. I'll have to test over the course of time to see if I notice anything, but it seems fine for now.
Neat. I just learned something new today.

not the point, retard-kun

so what is the point grok? lower number better ?

I'll have to test it and make sure it isn't sending signals over Bluetooth

I'll save you some time, it isn't.
Microsoft just didn't think they could get away with the scam after the 360.
Which itself was preceded by a scam because pic related are just weird shaped USB connectors, which thankfully was found out pretty quick and you could get lots of aftermarket breakaways and adapters showed up pretty early on.

xbax.jpg - 474x474, 36.46K

I feel like fixing an USB-C port will probably easier than dealing with the hardwired cable getting fucked

bluetooth cables

What the fuck is this even supposed to mean? Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology, there is no such thing as a bluetooth cable.

Oh man. My wired 360 controller has that weird connector. I never understood the point. I bought this controller after 360's hayday. Pretty sure the Bone was already released. I dunno, it was like 15 years ago now or something. Right after the Bone came out, they were offloading the 360 controllers so I got it dirt cheap. It came with that connector and I still wondered to myself "fucking why is this a thing?". My theory was so you could bring your controller over to your buddy's place? I know a bit about wires and electronics, but if you're converting your inputs to USB, why not just start with USB? Why the weird connector?

Can you permanently turn off the RGB? That shit annoys me.

My wired 360 controller has that weird connector. I never understood the point.

It's a quick disconnect so that if someone trips over the cord in your living room while walking between the couch and TV, the cable just pops apart instead of pulling your entire console onto the floor.

he doesn't send Morse code messages using Bluetooth over Ethernet and Coaxial cables

lol. lmao even

It's a quick disconnect

Oooohhhh. Well that...actually kinda makes sense. Fair enough, Microshit. You win this round.

works on my ps3 somehow which is a nice bonus

if you use one of these on a ps3, you can send a rocket to mars or a submarine to atlantis. there is precident for it.

I figured it was just a way for zoomies to throw their controllers at the wall in a display of poor impulse control without it potentially ruining the console as well.

what, is it known for not working on ps3s?

Of course you can.

lights out.jpg - 550x550, 47.58K

no I said it works on ps3s
ps2 was known for being better than a rocket's onboard computer chip
so ps3 can do both, send rockets and control submarines
and there is precident for using a logitech controller to do these things
also lets never forget that us navy used 360 controllers to control actual army submarines kek
these days all these poor bastards get is a soulless touch screen
