Dolls Nest

Had a few thousands CCU and good reviews, can't believe Nitro Plus made a good Armored Lolis game

dollsnest1.jpg - 3072x1724, 1.07M

Nice, i'm glad its out. I really liked the demo. Don't worry, my dude, i won't let the thread die like that. Its just a small indie game.

Haven't had the time to play this too much, but I've cleared the first two areas and I think it's pretty good. I like the customization a lot. Shame about this site being down during its release.

where'd you go after accessing the hub? i dont know what worse: flying unit bullet hell, bullet sponges, or infinitely spawning acid shotgunners

I'll buy it when they iron out some of the bugs, I just hope it's solid since I liked the demo

Upturned Forest, should be the first of the three trees. I didn't think it was too bad, dual pistols and the rear arm sniper allowed me to clear everything without too many problems. Ended up at another area, The Fault, surprised me as I didn't expect these areas to connect to even more.

The infinite spawns are from a cloaked enemy. Kill it because it won't respawn.

Meant for

piratebros, our status?

How close is it to Armored Core V gameplay?

redpill me on this game
it looks very weird to me

I mean VI

Dilating sis

what if dark souls but armored core with cute anime girls in a Blame!-esque megastructure
that's the impression I've gotten from it so far at least

I'm retarded, where's the boss in Great Forest?

Looks fun, I will probably get it. Is there forced yurislop?

Nitroplus' 3D lead said "I want to make mecha musume exploration-focused Armored Core" before ACVI was announced, and then ACVI came out.
It's a 30-40+ hour game at $20, really good customization systems. Weapon balance is inconsistent, but every weapon type has at least one viable example to find. Lots of secrets, and the level design is surprisingly good.
Not quite as hard as AC/Souls games, but enough to warrant gearing for different enemies or environments. Pretty fun.

No yuri.

The locked door in the red room. If you've met the merchant, go back a little from her and you'll see it.

Is the demo no longer available? I read about this and it sounds neat.
I might get it anyway since it's pretty cheap

That price is pretty steep

The only thing that matters is going fast. Taking down that gank squad boss fight with just Sabi was really satisfying. Wish the game had more nymphs to fight that didn't spawn only after you beat an area.

1839430_1154.jpg - 1920x1080, 368.78K

yurislop

I loved Crymachina

Based I hate yuri but the game appeals to me. For the price it seems worth it. Will try it out

Yeah, they took the demo down, Kind of a shame, but the demo area's a much easier introductory stage now.

Damn anon, nice style. I didn't realize you could name presets until just now, I should do that.

Interested in the waifus, but if there's not cat/fox ears/tails it's a miss for me. someone spoonfeed me

Imagine pre-6 Armored Core but with mecha musume lolis that basically function like ants who all live on an abandoned forge world. At some point one of the ant colonies developed organized religion and started subjugating all the other nests and there's a plague of unrelated parasite rape monsters swallowing the lower zones. Your character is a retarded ant loli who's born from a dead ant hive whose goal is to get revenge on whoever's left and rebuilding your mom, who's a dead body impaled on a giant pole and also a tree (because all ant queens are also trees).

1839430_1135.jpg - 1920x1080, 281.24K

cat/fox ears/tails

Haven't seen 'em. There's a rabbit-eared helm, a tengu beak and various horns, but if they're in the game they're further than I am.

Why does every screenshot look so blurry?

I wanted to experiment more but damn, once you find a frame combination that feels REALLY good to move around with, you can't change out of it. High handling, speed, and acceleration are a must. That one there goes at a minimum of 93 MPH when running and actually goes slower when dashing. Has an absurd EP recovery rate too, so I usually just spam the run button and zip around like a retard everywhere. Funny as shit. Wish the game had an option to sacrifice yourself to let mommy recover fully. No idea why the game makes us betray her when there's literally no reason to stop her revival. The lore of the game is completely lost on me. All I've gathered from it is that she was TRAPPED and BETRAYED for a HUNDRED years and wants us to bring her back to life so she can make Hod great again.

1839430_1141.jpg - 1920x1080, 183.9K

There's bird, ant, and scorpion tails.

I'll pick it up at some point. I played the demo a bit back and had a surprisingly good time

Chromatic aberration or some other filter over the game. It's pretty noticable ingame

Is there a good edgy story and/or gore like you'd expect from Nitro+?

That's a shame, dropped, How many decades nitro+ been on the industry and can't do waifus right.

Miss me with that shiet

what if dark souls but armored core with cute anime girls in a Blame!-esque megastructure

great googly moogly please fucking be good

The lore is nice but they were too souls-inspired to portray any of it really. You read a lot about these places' wars, factions and infighting and barely see any of it.

level design

Is it? Didn't look too special from the steam preview vids.

The game seriously needs way more nymphs to fight. Granted, they're usually very difficult but when you hear about an active Nest or even a nation of nymphs subjugating queens and forcing Nests to cooperate with each other, you'd think you'd be facing armies of nymphs just to get to the messiah who created religion on Hod, but no. All Sheol the Divine Child has as a defense force is a single royal knight. It's not like the game's shy about having non-boss nymphs either, but they're usually only 1v1 duels. Overall, sparsity of nymph life in the game is really, really weird since the variants are only on the lower levels and the automata you fight are also being made by nymphs.

the demo area's a much easier introductory stage now

So it wasn't just me... I thought it was weird that now I could easily go for melee while tanking all the small enemies damage

It does that Igarashi Castlevania thing where areas wrap around in on themselves. Like dark souls.

I can only say that it fits my tastes, but I'm willing to put up with Peripeteia too (which is much more flawed than this game).
They're big, sprawling levels each with their own character, good enemy distribution, a lot of verticality and mazelike structure that has a logic after you've explored through it, lots of little hidden areas with chests and lot, and shortcuts looping back to your spawn point. Can't say I want anything more out of them.

If you’re into mech customization and exploration with a touch of weird lore, it’s definitely worth the twenty bucks. Just don’t go in expecting peak challenge or deep character writing. It’s more about the vibes, movement, and building cool loadouts. No yuri is a plus for you, so you’ll probably dig the focus on mechanics and worldbuilding without it leaning too hard into shipping bait.

I was hoping they would have optimized between the demo and release, but I guess that was too much to ask.
Really not sure what's in this one room that causes post processing to shit the bed on high.

Yeah, I get what they're going for and there's a certain implication that this world is well past the overpopulation crash, but I kept hoping I'd actually see the religious nest society after climbing my way up past the defense systems.

If an area has a ton of water, the game tends to shit itself a little. There's water below those platforms.

chests and lot

loot, even

Was there ever mention of overpopulation? The game mentions that nests usually kill each other, save for the established nation/religious order in the upper levels, who instead capture queens and then basically use them as breeders to shit out more nymphs. If anything, the upper and middle levels should be full of nymphs murdering each other instead of automatons. If there's one thing the devs should've done I think was make nymphs the standard combatant instead of automatons. Or at least, introduce nymph-on-nymph combat early. Maybe even have generic enemy nymphs in the middle zone fighting each other and forcing you to mow either both sides down or zip through gun fire to progress, ionno. Point is, there's way fewer nymphs than the lore says there is.

dolls nest devs wanted to make a new AC game before AC6 was announced

AC6 comes out

machine guns are barely relevant

Dolls Nest comes out

machine guns went right back to being meta

never change, oldgenfags. never change.
anyway why is the energy regen so damn slow in this game? It's like the devs wanted to replicate ACV's energy rates, except they forgot the part where ACV had a separate recon mode that eases the energy burden on the mech. Is there some upgrade path for the generator or something?

mai gunfu.png - 256x193, 68.07K

anyway why is the energy regen

You need more EP recovery.

That was the impression I got from the opening video, anyway. Could be read other ways, but consuming everything else and then feeding on their own numbers put the idea in my head.

Anyone tested this on Steam Deck/Linux?
How long is the game? NG+ included? Does it feel as empty as the demo?

that's what I'm asking. even when I go with an ultra-lightweight build, the EP recovery still doesn't feel nearly fast enough as it would be in an oldgen AC game. I can play around it, sure, but it just becomes more of a hassle to me when I'm fighting the first boss and I have to use up nearly 80% of my energy bar just to catch up to it

Nitro+ chose a very unfortunate release date, sandwiched between like 3 major releases and all.
I was too busy playing E33, are we still dealing with edgekino? Or is it a gameplay-focused AC fangame first and foremost?

Nitro+ gameplayge thread

Anon Babble

We're truly back.

3 major releases

I highly doubt they're audience of Nitro+ mecha anime game. Especially in Japan.

It's honestly kind of funny how you meet more non-hostile nymphs than you do hostile ones if you don't backtrack and revisit old levels. Guess the devs were worried people wouldn't wanna play the game as much if you had to gun down a bunch of cute girls every couple of seconds.

Kishin Hishou Demonbane translated on modern systems when?

Call it a copout, but they might as well have made them old-generation Nymphs that look more like robots or something. It would've been nice if the enemies had even just a bit more character than they do now.

Just started this, way better than I was anticipating, really nice surprise

Yo niggers, make sure to go back to old areas after you clear them, just revisited where the one merchant chick was trapped and found a weapon and upgrade material.

Is there any reason to go back to the 2nd areas in each route? The 1st of each had nymphs to fight but I haven't seen anything change after clearing the 2nd

does it run on a gtx 1050 ti?

Is this game doing well financially? I hope it is because I don't want Nitroplus to go bankrupt.

Could be worse, but I wonder what their target was. Director didn't make it sound like it was a hard pitch in the interview, so I imagine the budget wasn't crazy.
Seems like streamers didn't really bite on it either.

iirc they said in an interview that the game is getting more attention than anticipated, I hope it's doing well

is it worth it to backtrack on the first area? anything interesting there?

Yes

holy fucking kino, giga brain combo

It tripled Concord

The intro area? You have to since it's directly connected to the midpoint of the game. Also buy a lot of luminous ore.

There's a little surprise where Yoyo used to be (the girl who asks for a supplement)

I know there's still the elevator but im wondering if something spawned on the old areas that I won't revisit. Unless I'll have to go through them then nvm I guess

Hmm, not really. Think the only place worth checking out is barrier'd place next to where you first met Yoyo, but that's about it.

guess I'll go check. Kinda expected something to be there

It seems like demo run like shit on Steam Deck. they probably didn't change anything to make it playable, right?

There's that tower area that you don't get access to, a barrier'd off area, and something where the merchant chick used to be. Oh, and there's a stupidly easy to miss secret just after the tram ride area, just under the collapsed wall part there's a hidden tunnel with something in it.

I've been checking under every single ledge after that and kind of disappointed I haven't seen others. Haven't found any secret areas under elevators either

I started it last night and only played about an hour and half so far. It's pretty cool, I instantly set the bust slider to 0 of course. I always thought an Armored Core game that had an exploration based format instead of missions would be interesting.

bust - 0

hips - 100

now we're gaming

estoc but with actual range

decent but im not switching

not thickness 100 for preggo/chubby belly

ngmi

file.jpg - 2560x1440, 1.52M

Thanks, missed this one. I gather from that thread and others that game runs ok-ish, but breaking objects kills the frame rate.
I'll wait for a patch or discount.

not thickness 100 for preggo/chubby belly

Not into chubs, if there was an actual preg option I'd take it and never look back.

I always thought an Armored Core game that had an exploration

Grid 086 mission from AC6 was great. It's like they tested the grounds with open world style AC.

is this an edit or actual in game setting?

body sliders are real
for me, it's pailoli

in game setting

go through new level

get a bunch of parts

forget which parts they were and nothing is flagged as new or anything

fatal error going in and out of customization a few times

aaaaaaaaa

No yuri.

sold. sorry yurifags, but you ruin everything Anon Babble related

always hit resupply before changing loadout and it stopped crashing for me

clicked wrong file, oops.

I like skinny girls, but this looks more pregnant than fat to me. Very nice.

here's the sliders and color pallette options.

Sidenote appreciate that they didn't stick to few rigid colors, but the lighting is really fucking ass in this game in several locations so it all looks like shit anyway

file.jpg - 2560x2880, 2.99M

those Custom Order Maid 3d-tier textures

I'm surprised the game is getting as much attention as it is because it looks like a college student's indie attempt at recreating Armored Core rather than the work of a professional game studio that has been doing 3D modeling and animation for over 2 decades.

I think From should make an exploration based AC game like their other modern games but everyone would sperg out of course. I think it could work as an AC spin-off or new IP though. I would still want more proper mission focused AC games but exploring ambient sci-fi worlds lends itself well to mecha. I liked those larger missions in AC6 as well.

customization in arboreal nest crashes for me, elsewhere's fine

It's lliterallly 1 guy in the company's passion project

Oh this game is out? I saw they had Demonbane shit in it, so I have to buy it.

Based.

You can type the hex code to get exact color you want? That's great. I have a book with color schemes that work, it will be nice to use some sets in game.

how fast can you go in this game

game studio that has been doing 3D modeling and animation for over 2 decades

what studio are you talking about because definitely not nitroplus

Why are mecha musume subgenre not popular? the idea is older than most faggots on this board yet you'd think waifu+mechs would sell like hotcakes.

With the samurai set you can basically zoom past everything between you and the boss, it's very fun. Not Tribes fast, but quick.

Very bland desu. Breaking boxes destroys FPS. Why did Nitroplus rename to NITRO PLUS anyways? This project makes it look like it was done by a dev team consisting of two people.

Only cleared the first area while waiting for the few hours before E33 dropped and I'll eventually get back to it.

They've had 3D animation in their VNs since at least the Demonbane console port in 2004

Genuinely it's too Japanese. Americans that like robots have a tendency to make it about being a hyper manly man thing, so the idea of cute girls in it just ruins it for the typical western fan of mecha. Americans don't get the concept of gap moe

Heads up.
There's a very nasty game bricking bug towards the end of the game.
After the 3rd boss on each route, you are suppose to receive an item that looks like a vial named "her (something) visage". The one at the end of the right path, in the Tomb of Divine Wisdom, which looks like a green vial can disappear for seemingly no apparent reason after you pick it up.
My save file is bricked because of this.

And I guess on the other hand it's too serious and sincere for people who ironically consume shit like Miside and DDLC to appreciate

Collab armors for Demonbane and Muramasa, but they're not in the game yet and TBA when they will actually be added.

A single animation in Muramasa that lasts like 15 seconds and is rather shit.
Their biggest animation project was Tokyo Necro and all of it looked absolute ass besides the first fight.
I don't recall anything else

We believe that this issue occurs as a result of progressing through the event involving the NPC "Shara."

The tree ate my plot coupon?
Fuck trees!

Ironically there's not much overlap between the group that are in it mostly for the waifufagging and the other who are there for mechafagging, even in a media which has both, because one party doesn't appreciate mechanical detail and the other doesn't care for little girls.

I tried the demo but I didn't like the lonely feel of it. Does it stay like that?

There's a hub with a few cute merchants and the occasional dying NPC, but I'd say the atmosphere of the demo is pretty similar to the game's.

FAG mentioned.

Sleeping FAG.gif - 360x360, 1.98M

It's dork souls. There's a hub with a few friendly npcs and npcs you can occasionally meet along the way, but it's mostly a solo adventure.

didn't play it, hope you didn't mean just that pv

It's not about being on a solo adventure. Fromsoft games never made me feel like this.

Game looks really jank. Is it fun, can I see some gameplay?

maxresdefault.jpg - 1280x720, 183.15K

Didn't play it either. But PV is very cool. Always wanted to post it. ZIZZ is cooking

Too fat. Can you make them look like an atte7kusa loli?

Fromsoft games have a lot of animals, people, etc. even if they're undead or whatever. Here you will fight metal bricks 90% of the time while wandering through sterile or decaying tech. So I can see a bit of a distinction.
The twins at the hub are really cute after you find their sword, though, and the merchant calls you hero, but I don't know if that's enough to do it for you.

Doesnt click at all for me, its just camera moving over gun models lol not even zizz can save that

a what?

Is this game toaster-friendly? How's performance?

Architect owes me dolldom CBT.

fags.webm - 1280x720, 2.99M

If you destroy a bunch of crates or get to the water area, your computer will shit itself.

I feel like i'm being gaslit by nitroplus fanboys and lolifags, this game doesn't look all that great. The ost and artowrk and VA, sure, maybe the mech + character editor, but the locales and enemies look very boring and bland (saying this as someone who loved AI limit), even the bosses are generic, and it just seems undercooked even for an indie project, while at the same time having some really strong elements (like the aforementioned OST). Is this game actually, ACTUALLY, good? Everyone on steam keeps saying it has demons/darksouls1 exploration and it's tempting as fuck...

How do I buy more consumables? The only merch I met so far died

spoiler

The one in The Great Forest?
If you somehow missed the girl in the very first area, go give her a supplement. If she somehow died then I guess you're playing on hard mode, didn't realize that could happen.

It's terribly optimized in my experience.
CPU usage can go sky high on DX11, to the point of bottlenecking FPS while my GPU is sitting under 100%. A few threads still go nuts on DX12 but that stops happening at least.
Shadows over medium cost way too much. Low shadows ruin the look of the game, though.
Explosions over a certain size tank FPS when close enough regardless of settings.
Post processing over medium can kill FPS in some areas. I remember one of the settings dipping my FPS when boosting in the demo but it doesn't seem to happen in the full release.

spoiler

Yes Idk how it happened after beating the boss there I went back to buy more and she was dead

First area

Okay I might have just forgot about her, Im not sure. I will go check and see, thanks!

My assumption is the Investigator who was standing nearby killed her but I haven't got to NG+ and nobody's reported what happens if you kill her first.

I've heard that if you kill the investigator first the merchant still leaves the area but doesn't leave a corpse/loot
but also that the injured girl in the great forest eventually gives you a quest to hunt down the investigator once you get all of the bionic parts to heal her so if you kill her early you miss out on that.

fug, I think I broke both quests then. Guess I'll do it right next go around.

Combat is about what you expect from old AC games. Which is to say, you point your gun and shoot at enemies. You have 2 primary weapons, 2 rear weapons and a utility slot.
Exploration is great. Since you're fast, can jump, and glide, there's a lot of hidden items all over the place.
I'll say that there's a lot of content for $20. My only complaint is the poor graphics and samey enemy mob designs.

Investigator who was standing nearby killed he

For some reason I dont even remember anyone else there but her... But anyway, for the first area, do you mean the area where in the demo that super "rape me" type enemy was in there and now in the full game that girl was in there instead? Thats the only npc I remember meeting in the first area and she is gone now. Though not dead or anything

Nah, check by the red wall.

In the Upturned Forest, inside the pipes at the beginning of the area there is a shielded bug that blocks the path. I've looked all over the place and could not find a path to get behind it, even after completing the whole area and the boss. Did anyone find how to get there?

Jump over it :^)

it's a dead end with an item. you need to go through it to get it. they don't actually block the whole pipe and you can just jump over them

I'm having lots of fun with this.
Just beat the first boss and made it to the hub. Kinda lost now.

Talk to until the way forward shows up.

you talk to the dead skewered lady and she opens up 3 paths to go through
they all kind of suck in their own way so have fun

I did right after doing all bosses in the other two and it still sucked, I was amazed

I kept interacting with her and all I got was "There's a torso on a pike with a hole for a head"

you should have gotten a left eye when you killed the first boss, did you not?

Demo convinced me to skip it.

Yeah I did. Guess I just didn't inspect her from the right angle or something. Thanks.

Thanks, found her! Didnt realize I never went down that way. Where does she show up after you give it to her

will this game be continually supported or is it a one off
I never played an AC game
I kinda want to equip like a gatling or what not and BRRRT things but idk what this game is even about

What's up with these fake enemies with spotlights on them? I've seen one in just about every level...

I heard you get a key item later that you can give to one of them, getting a different weapon depending on where you use it

anybody fuck with the status effect weapons at all? i feel like i can't get anything to proc, i don't even know what most of them do besides corrosion (poison) and i think disintegrate is the bleed equivalent? but then bleeding exists so who the fuck knows

I really like this developer and I would love it if you spent money on this game.
That said, this is absolutely not getting any meaningful long-term support.
Like, there are probably going to be patches to fix shit, like they just rolled out a post saying they're aware of some issues, maybe some small content updates, but this is clearly a fairly budget title - and this is the real kicker in my opinion - driven primarily by passion, as this is mostly a chance for the studio's 3D team to show off their skills.
There won't be any DLCs, no expacs, definitely no multiplayer update. There might be a new costume for the robot girl in a year.

i would really, really like to stop getting Fatal Error! when trying to change my pants

Anon's advice to always click 'Supply' before going into parts change has helped me. Some areas seem more prone to crashing than others

game is fun, but dead due to shit netcode and retarded customization options

Man, I was rocking a dual sword build but fuck the corrosion spiders, fuckers are impossible to hit.

nevermind i take it back, grabbed two dual short circuit pistols from a church loli in the Fault and they're kicking ass
i think short circuit is just straight up death for most enemies

I really like how often you can cheese up to new areas with enough hover distance and jump height. I really sequence broke in the Arboreal Nest and was confused as hell about which way to go.

Good luck man, the area starts at its hardest so if you can push through you'll manage.

if you guys post more webms maybe I will buy it
I require your coolest weapons

Get comfortable with swapping weapons often.
A lot of enemies have gimmicks that encourages certain weapons, like the upper floors having a bunch of flying and hopping enemies that makes melee annoying against them.

You're hunting down the cloaked mama spiders right?

use the help button and check your status resistance to get an explanation of what each one does
I tried double bleed pistols early on and it was okay but I couldn't get a single bleed proc on the second boss (great forest) so I gave up on status weapons entirely. Bleed proc'd a number of times on the first one so I know it isn't just an all bosses are immune thing or anything like that
here's fighting the first boss with them litter.catbox.moe/zw6sz5.mp4

Are there NPC questlines? I cleared the middle tree boss and the wandering merchant girl died

public service announcement for newfriends or anyone who wasn't aware
if you see an area that looks like

man there should totally be a boss/miniboss fight here

but there's nothing
come back after beating the area's real boss

short circuit only disables targeting for a bit

i'm really fucking confused because these things deal very little damage until suddenly the enemy just fucking dies, so i assumed it was instant kill

There are, but they are either bugged or easy to mess up.
I didn't meet any NPCs at all in the 3rd area of each route even though none of my interactions with the npcs feeling conclusive in any way.

I've seen to run into a new issue. I can't make my ammo last long enough to clear through the place. Guns either hit like wet noodles or take forever to reload.
I don't think I've seen one yet.

Hows the game play on pad? Also how long would the average playthrough be? Is there a NG+ option?

What are some notably good weapons? I know the greatsword and katana are supposedly the best melee, but know fuck all about the guns.

nothing against 'em, I just like really big robot more

well of course you haven't seen it, it's cloaked
for BP your options are to either bring weapons with better BP efficiency or to bring consumables to recover it with. Shoulder weapons in particular are very high BP cost and should be avoided unless you need burst damage from them

I've been sticking to the francisca shotgun and scimitar beam rifle for most of the game. For a physical rifle the standard arrowhead is pretty good, though I like the GTFRO 3 shot burst rifle too. In general it seems like the most basic version of each weapon is pretty good and the gimmicky variations don't really make up for it. Though I do love the single pellet wave gun and homing thermal smg even if they're both a little weak.

Ok nothing I do works here. Spiders spawn faster than I can kill them. I keep getting poisoned and frankly this isn't being fun anymore. Nothing good does knowing there's a spider spawner around if I can't find it, much less shoot it.

Fucked up my spoiler closing tag, reposting.

The angel-wing-swarm-missile is peak for me
Also showing off camo+kanata.
Gear's pretty situational like said, this launcher hits the walls/ceilings in enclosed spaces.

Javelin beam sniper, Sys302 beam rifle, Dolz burst grenade launcher and silenced shotgun all worked well for me. Anything with a decent balance of accuracy and damage, really.

Pad's preferable, m+kb feels a little weird with the turn rate limit. Haven't got far enough for NG+

Don't spam rear weapons.
Primary weapons are weak but BP efficient. Rear weapons are the opposite, they have high burst damage but eat through your BP reserves.
Melee weapons also have 0 BP cost and "reloads" even when not equipped.
The biggest thing to note is that enemies don't drop gear. Only cells, BP recovery, and the occasional healing item. Running away is a valid, if not encouraged tactic.

You get a fairly decent energy sniper rifle from feeding the tree pearls enough time, like 30 pearls. Low dps, but high range and 5 round ammo cap so you just outrange and slowly snipe everything to death. You will know the tree when you see her. There's also an LMG at the very end of the middle level in it's 3rd area that, IMO, just stomps every other primary in the game. Good range, decent damage, 100 ammo cap. Not sure if that's the only LMG in the game.
Aside from those, I mainly got through the game with rifles.

That's how I felt in the first part of that zone too. It does open up later but you have to get through the valley of death first. Pick off all the non-respawning guys first and the little guys are easier to manage and track down.

The scimitar beam rifle kills spiders in 3 shots, follow where they come from and kill their spawner

If I'm a casual nigger who's turned off by bosses with massive health pools and lightning fast insta-kill attacks will I hate it?

Blame!-esque megastructure

What's the exploration like in the game. Cause a mecha game where you fly around and explore a super structure sounds really fun.

The health pools are kinda large but

lightning fast insta-kill attacks

aren't really a thing. Almost every boss has a ton of cover to abuse and you'll be able to kite them around it.

Bosses are actually easy and generally do little damage unless you get hit by their very obvious fuck you attacks.
Most of the difficulty is from resource management during the stages since while nothing can kill you fast, your ammo and HP gets gradually whittled down. The only time I felt that enemies had unreasonable amounts of HP and damage is in the last area of the middle branch that had NPCs telling you that the enemies there have no tactics other than hitting hard and having a bunch of HP.

same. I got the big hat set and was ready to go fast as fuck and then I tried to make this jump, was too short, and immediately switched back. I'm still using this starting mobility frame since nothing else has as nice overall mobility.

while nothing can kill you fast

This is a bit false. There's plenty of enemies that can kill you very quickly, it's just that it's also fairly easy to dodge them too. But you do need to be paying attention or you can die very suddenly.

at 14 hours played

only got to the third area of the first tree then blocked by orange wall, up to the boss of the first area of the second tree, and up to the second area of the second tree

I keep getting lost and spending tons of time scouring the areas before moving on to make sure I picked up everything...

went back to first area on the first tree

found a little building with two pickups I missed the first time

spotted an item on a ledge I had to make a drop to a ledge to go up some stairs, but there was also a room with an aggro nymph

I'm never going to finish this game...

agro nymphs only spawn after you beat the boss of the area so feel better knowing that it wasn't even there the first time through

Those fucking plasma shotgun tanks can and will oneshot you if you stand behind them for too long.

Playing oblivion

In the year of our lord 2025

Does it even have enough changes for someone who played the OG versions to bother with?

behold, the BossFucker 3000
is it big? slow? does it have shittons of hp?
not anymore after you fire this thing down its peeholes

in short, there's ways around it
don't stick too hard to one set of weapons, vendors start selling infinite upgrade mats for cheap so try out everything until things work

Can I change my mecha musume's skin to a metallic color so they can actually look like a robot?

there's a dolljoints body but i haven't found a pure mecha body yet

you can change skin color but I'm not sure how metallic you can get it

you okay babe?

Is that in the Fault? I guess I gotta go back for her.

Skin color customization is pretty limited in this game. You can barely make it a desaturated color without having it come close to the default skin tone

from feeding the tree pearls

wat

seems like every area has a rogue nymph after you kill the boss, gives you at least one free nerve sample and some bonus gear
that one had another of the incendiary smg pistols but my short circuit pistols are too good to give up
they instakilled her when it procc'd and honestly i have no idea if that is a bug or not because the status effect says it just disables targeting
i suppose you can't target anything if you're dead

feeding the tree pearls

I feel like I'm missing so many things.

Fuck this thing. I swear if there's a second one ahead I'll just drop the game.
It took so many grenades to kill, too. Nevermind that I had to just fire them blindly into it's general direction.

just get close enough to find where it is and unload your primary into it
they don't even respawn, they stay dead forever so just fookin doomp it

It's quite a bit later on in the game shortly after you get the right eye. You can't miss the tree, she's right on the path to the next area.

just get behind it bro and shoot the weakpoint bro it dies instantly bro
I've run into at least four so far

they don't even respawn

Oh thank the fuck god. I just got corner blasted by a giant bug, killing me instantly.
Haha. I'm done with the game. They just infinitely print enemies. My computer can't handle that shit. I had to kill the first one in single digits FPS
Also I can't even see the thing, much less tell where it's behind is.

Thanks anon, didn't realize there were Nymphs in the second areas too.
Wound up using a grenade for the first time because I hit her once with my sword, did 99% of her HP and then she kept spazzing the fuck out and wouldn't let me hit her

not the game's fault you're trying to play it with a potato
it IS the games's fault it KEEPS FUCKING CRASHING though

am i a retard
how do sniper cannons work
i equip one and then i can't fire it

Bro I actually meet the game's recommended settings. Not my fault they recommend potatoes.

really makes me appreciate my zippy frame when i fight nymphs zooming around at mach 4
this is probably what my enemies feel like when they see me

press rmb
wait a bit for it to unfold
it will zoom in
press rmb again to fire
the thing you fired at is now dead

press activate button
press it again

it just makes a noise and doesn't fire

Rear weapons work different ways. Some you need to hold down the button

*the thing you fired at is completely unharmed because it was 1 pixel out of range

i just realised i'm a retard and was clicking the normal fire rather than the button again.

Game crashed as I left the sand spider hell hole for greener pastures.
I can't escape this place.

What a shame this game is about lolis...

Finally, a game about lolis....

Does NG+ make enemies harder?

I want her weapon and shield...

I want her shotgun that does 20k damage on a meatshot
