I went to stand in line for 3 and a half hours at a GameStop but I only did it for my son. He’s 7 and he is so excited about switch 2 and the new Mario kart. It’s going to be a surprise for his birthday in June. He has no idea he’s getting one. I’m keeping it a secret. But when I was standing in line the biggest loser man-children were in line behind me. They weren’t buying one for their kid, they were there to buy one for themselves. These full grown men in their 30s were skinny, greasy, wearing black baggy hoodies and sweats, no style, dirty shoes, and they looked like they wore those clothes all the time. One adult man-child near me was giddy with excitement, telling people he’s buying the webcam and the physical edition of Zelda and he’s not buying the bundle because he wants to own a physical copy of Mario kart because he’s a physical media collector. It was the cringiest shit I’ve ever experienced in my adult life. These nasally, dorky, complete and utter losers clinging to their childhood, taking the day off work so they can pre order a switch 2 for THEMSELVES. Selfishness is a childish trait. Children are selfish. These men-babies are all selfish cretins. Calling in sick to work, affecting their coworkers and the business as a whole, so they can pre order a toy that’s made for children. These are the weak men in our society who are creating hard times. What’s even more pathetic is knowing some faggots in line were most definitely scalping them, so they can profit a measly $200-300, because they’re so poor and pathetic that scalping is unironically a side hustle to them. I didn’t see 1 normal looking dude in line btw. Not one healthy, nicely dressed, sharp looking adult, I was the only one. I was surrounded by a bunch of mentally stunted 30 year old children. Mario Kart is like something you'd play for a long time, but you'd play other things along side it and so Switch 2 really needed another major launch title like Donkey Kong should've been released alongside it.
