Blue prince was pretty good while it lasted. But since I beat it the motivation to go back and do the optional shit is gone. Usually I'd do all optional stuff first to avoid this, but due to the nature of the game, when the opportunity to complete it came up I took it.

well it was new to me. i thought that prison architect released 2017 and factorio was availible for purchase around 2018.

such a shame about prison architecht 2. all i want is one of these sim games like rimworld or dwarf fortress or prison architecht to be 3d, and no dev is willing to make one. I want to be able to make complex hyper structures for little simlings to have combat and prisoners for.

Not him But RoRR is essential RoR1 but better in every possible way except for having a modding scene, which doesn't matter all that much because the vanilla game is great anyway. Smooth controls, better gameplay, even better music (which was already leaps and bounds above the garbage in RoR2), crispy lovely looking pixel art, etc.
RoR1 and RoRR aren't really like the second game. As far as I'm concerned they're better designed, but normalfags love 3D so 2 is more popular. It's not really a good metric to measure whether you'll like Returns based on how much you liked 2.

First one isn't boring, but its sense of melody is nonexistent and the beginning is just a shitty metal remix of Providence's theme. Then it just goes off rails with the aforemetioned lack of melody. Reminds me of trash metal bands like Slayer where there is no actual music, just random metal sounds and shitty vocals. Telling me that shit is anywhere near the same league as Sur Ten Ret, let alone surpasses it, is not something I'm able to take without at least a scoff.
Second one is as low energy as RoR2 is in general.
Different strokes, apples and oranges, yadda yadda, but I will never be able to agree with those who prefer 2's soundtrack over 1's.

I fucking loved troubleshooters, it tickled my autism in a way no other game has in a long time, absolute gem.
