I've been able to run games pre 2020 like Sekiro flawlessly, then games between 2020 and 2022 more or less well. It can run Elden Ring decently well although at 720p30fps.

I've been running Mint and Ubuntu on three computers for three years now. I'd recommend others but I can't because I have no reason to try anything else. I've never even opened the terminal. And according to Anon Babbleirgins Valve's version is even simpler, at least for gaming.

I've been meaning Linux for the past 6 months. Stuff absolutely does not just werk, but I don't see why it can't with time. I have no problem playing the games I care about, but there is configuration involved.
Gamescope is absolutely game changing though, and the lack of an equivalent on Windows is a massive win in Linux's favour.
