One other concern is that even with the characters who get costumes that some will be shafted in how many alt. fits they get. We’ve seen characters like mario, luigi, and yoshi get full sets of 8, but then characters like rosalina or koopa get less than that with 4-5, and then characters like, birdo, pauline, and even fucking DK only have 1-2. Even with those that have outfits will barley get any
Imagine being one of the original racers from super mario kart and you only get one gaudy outfit, while fucking lakitu of all people gets a full set

As far as anyone’s seen, everything shown in promotional material is everything there is. There have been no “hidden” costumes spotted in the background of videos or promotional material that weren’t shown off for any of the characters. DK hasn’t been seen with any other outfits, therefor it’s reasonable to assume DK only has one outfit
the roster is really small for a game that will have 24 players each race, especially when players won't be able to pick duplicate characters
but i am not surprised nintards eating it up since they are also pulling a "see, your boycott failed!" since the pre-orders sold out
