You'll buy it

I won't. I'm done with Todd. He won't fool me again. I'm only waiting for Wayward Realms now.

Yeah, but I'm not buying any fallout games. Fallout is dead.

only if they learned their lesson with how unpopular Starfield was and how popular the Oblivion remaster was
they didn't

I doubt I will, but I did buy the Oblivion remake lol.

I didn't like any bethesdaslop, its another pleb series after gta. You hyped it guys so much so I thought it's something more than dungeons and books with lore

only if its made in Unreal Engine 6 and outsourced from bethesda

Yes, I'm Todd's little slut

I’ll watch a few hours on some stream, see how shallow it is, laugh, and do something else

It will be fantasy Starfield and therefore dogshit.

List of features Elder Scrolls VI won't have:

ladders that you can climb without a screen transition

polearms

faction quests that lock you out of other factions

hammerfell

No I won't

There's climbable ladders in Shartfield

I'll play it on gamepass for $10

No, I won't. Only way I would ever buy Elder Scrolls 6, even if it was 80% off, would be if one of the companions is a Khajiit lady you can marry. And I don't trust Bethesda to give me that.

Of course. Well executed Bethesda games is what i play vidya for.

first and third person view

character creator

open world

be in base

sort out gear and grab what you need

open map and pick location or quest

head out

2 minutes later something to fight

2 minutes later something to explore

2 minutes later something to interact with

2 hours later you completed 2 quests

explored 1 dungeon

looted 2 new pieces of gear

encountered a new companion

now you are at your target location to do what you actually wanted to do

do the thing

you've played the game for 4 hours and return to your base

do some maintenance, eat, sleep, head out again

By now you can turn Fallout into the best PMC/Merc/Wasteland sim on the market, there is literally nothing that comes close despite it being a 10 year old game. Same thing goes for Skyrim. The community provided mods make the games literally endless. Yes, the base games are old, boring, dumbed down and shallow dogshit but mods can completely overhaul them.

Nope.

Fallout 4 left me disappointed
Starfield left me completely baffled
And yet Todd will probably show up on some stage somewhere in his sexy leather jacket, whispering sweet nothings in my ear about ES6, and next thing I know I’ll be buying it.
How is he so powerful?

IMG_7797.jpg - 624x854, 48.88K

I'm still convinced the terrain depicted in the teaser image is Elseweyr, not Hammerfell. That being said I am aware the next game will be set in the Ilac Bay again, for better or for worse.

Say what you want about him but at least he's trying to make games for people who like games.

Explain f76 then

There's no such thing.

YOU'RE RIGHT, I WILL LMAO

I can't believe that anymore after Starfield. That game felt like a crime against the entire medium to me. So dull, so boring and so expensive to make.

i haven't finished a bethesda game since morrow wind not gonna start now

My grandkinds buy it

fixed that for you

100 charisma

I bought Skyrim for EUR 3.74 in 2014, never played it, or any RPG.
Is it a good game? Which mods should I use? Do I need to play TES I-IV first?

Considering how bad Fallout 4 and Starfield were, no I don't think I will.

no Jeremy Soule, confirmed souleless

settlement building

junk gathering to build settlements

toothless, millennial writing in an M rated game

shipbuilding

procedural generation

No I fucking won't

Money

still alive lmao

it's just a daggerfall remaster

Wouldn't this be the ideal Elder Scrolls experience?

I'll pirate it.

curved swords

UE5

450 GBs starting

mandatory always online connection for license verification

$150 + tip

Of course I will. Elder Scroll games always make the best gaming memes when they come out.

I didn't buy Fallout 4, Starfield or the remaster, so..... probably not

Possibly. It depends how dumbed down it is. Skyrim is barely an RPG, no matter what zoomers who don't know any better say. If they dumb it down any more it'll be a walking sim with some combat.

I personally prefer the density of the modern games compared to the expanse of the old ones.
If they could somehow create a coherent backstory for all 100,000 randomly generated characters then yeah obviously that would be great but I'm not totally convinced even AI will progress to that level fast enough for the next TES release, even assuming that won't be for another 5-10 years.
Daggerfall has a lot going well for it, but the cities full of nobodies and the empty terrain full of nothing are not it's strong points.
still would desu Todd's made me his lil bitch. I even bought the $10 art book I don't even know how to look at
I think to be fair tho his games have probably had the biggest impact on my life of any franchise. Maybe pokemon I played that a lot as a kid but other than that Elder Scrolls has been my favorite game with fallout my second favorite for, fuck idk 20 years. He kinda deserves my money in a sense

Elseweyr

I fucking hope not. I don't want an elder scrolls set in India.

I would be okay with this.

No. I'm done with BGS games. Slopfailed was the last straw.

It will probably have some sort of AI dialogue. And it won't be quirky and fun either, it will be shallow and boring.

I have 600-700 hours played on Skyrim over 4 different playthroughs with different mods and roleplaying directions.
There are not many things in this world that will make me as excited as I would be to have a new Skyrim to play.
Didn't buy Starfield
Didn't buy Oblivion Remastered
Not gonna buy TES6
They're not good games. Simple as.
There's absolutely no chance that TES6 will be a great game given that Starfield was such a massive pile of flaming slop.

Still being supported.

faction quests that lock you out of others

Even Morrowind BARELY has this, it's only for the houses. You're free to join two diametrically opposed religions, the mages guild and Telvanni at the same time, the Morag Tong and any great house at the same time, etc.

mod that turns Lydia into a Khajiit

doesn't even give her new voice acting

I've always find it odd and disappointing that modders aren't using AI voice generation in their mods. Like imagine a mod that turns Ysolda into a Khajiit woman, complete with redone voicelines and text that make her also talk like a Khajiit. I would love that. Imagine marrying a Khajiit merchant lady, helping her with her sleeping tree sap business and then killing Belethor so she becomes the main trader in Whiterun.

Is it a good game?

it's at its best when you turn it into a hiking and camping winter survivalist game, particularly if you run the VR version of the game too.
No, you don't need to play all TES games, but TES3 is the most interesting one.

I didn't buy any of the 90 versions of Skyrim, I didn't buy Fallout 4 or 76, I didn't buy Starfield and I didn't buy the Oblivion Remaster. I won't buy this. Todd has no power over me.

*Goes back to playing OpenMW*

There's plenty of modded AI voicepacks for everything. They're all ass, even in comparison to Bethesda's mediocre VAs. The technology isnt here yet.

I don't want an elder scrolls set in India

what is morrowind

Dunmer are pajeet coded

on a 90% sale 3 years later sure

I'll buy it as long as it doesn't take place in Hammerfell. Not a racist or anything but I'm just not interested in the location. Elsweyr, Black Marsh, Valenwood, or Akavir and I'll buy it. I hope it's Akavir.

I'm done with Todd.

but is he done with you?

Ysolda going from a balding drug peddling Nord to a sassy Khajiit overnight

Todd would never allow that. He's had exclusivity rights over all catgirls for the last 20 years.

i will.I only play beth games.
i've got the same itch.Just the idea of mixing first/third person+fantasy setting+character creator+open world+do whatev you want whenever you want,i dismiss 99% (if not 99.99%) of "rpg" in the market.

Isn't some TESVI taking place in High Rock as well?

I never played Skyrim until shortly before SE came out, when LE was basically free on sale.
I'll likely do the same here, unless the game is abhorrent even compared to Skyrim.

it has taken far too long
whatever they can come up with cannot live up to expectations
yes i will buy it to experience the trainwreck from the front row but i dont expect it to come out until 2030

TES : Akavir

playable monke and sneks

my guess is they were working on it but starfield made them reconsider their plan and now they're testing the waters with a few remakes first before they tank their entire company

If I can run it. I don't have enough vram for the Oblivion remaster as it is.

I want this shit too bro. Did you watch the ghetto ass video on the Steam page? Pure sovl.

have the next 20 years to jerk off before the next TES comes out

piecemeal a bunch of farmed out remakes to jeets and the french for pennies on the dollar

still get the credit anyway

It Just Works

which one tho?
the normal edition for $120 or the complete edition for $150?

Let's hope they find out their basebuilding and community managing route (fallout 4) is fucking shit and they focus on a good adventure in an interesting world
they wont, but I can dream

I didn't buy the Oblivion remaster and I shan't buy TESVI.

Based. I hope the devs add VR support even though it didn't reach the stretch goal.

But I don't play toddslop.

Ill play it on my friends gamepass acc

papa michaelsofts at the captains wheel so i expect something of avowed quality
no thanks

It needs to exist first, then I'll buy it.

Not after Starfield.

Just make a brand new expansion for Oblivion.
Judging by Skyrim, Fallout, and Starfield, as well as the direction they were already heading down with Oblivion the first time. TES6 is likely to suck major fucking ass. It's all been downhill.
A big Oblivion expansion would be real rad though.

Todd should release the entire continent of Tamriel, fully populated and complete, as a Morrowind expansion.

screen space reflections ruin video games
