Why did Xbox going anti-consumer cause them to crash and burn, while Nintendo going anti-consumer led to preorders selling out?

xbone preorders sold out too, zoom zoom.

while Nintendo going anti-consumer led to preorders selling out?

I'm afraid it's mostly scalpers running bots to get all the preorders, nintendo might have a PS5 tier problem on their hands if all those consoles end up sitting in warehouses not selling any software.

Nintendo didn't go anti consumer

zoomers were still children, now that they have money they spend it on retarded shit

because nintards are drones

Sure, just less so than PC vegans like yourself

Because they stopped making good games while Nintendo continues to? Pretty simple. Also the shit MS were trying to pull were way worse for the time than anything Nintendo’s done

Pcvck.

Pre-orders probably sold out to scalpers most likely. We shall see how it really sells when release day comes.

lol nintendrapoojeets mad because i can play ninslop at better res and frames on my pc for free along with all the other games in the market, while you have to beg for downgraded ports that we already played years ago

Because the Xbone was about not being able to use the new console without an internet connection and had nothing to do with price

Is it? In UK, only online pre-orders are sold out. You can still walk into stores that *require* an in-person pick-up and pre-order just fine. This strongly signals that the pre-orders are being pushed by bots/scalpers.

Enjoy those amazing Nintendo games, PC vegan!

Tell me one game Xbox made not bought that matches Nintendo quality.

Nintendo's message:

We understand not everyone will be able to afford Switch 2 at launch, but prices can only be set so low, so we'd like to assure everyone we will continue to support Switch 1 with updates and new games alongside Switch 2.

Microsoft's message:

If you don't want us to spy on you with an always-online camera for no reason, you can stay in the past and keep playing the Xbox 360 forever, which we will not continue to support.

Viva Pinata is better than most Nintendo games

muh rare

It came out way after the takeover

third party accessory means Nintendo is anti consumer

Try again with a better example.

nintendo is anti-consumer

where? charging money for a new console and new games?

Anon, these are the same retards who were trying to claim the switch doesn't come a dock, and their "proof" was the fact you could buy a second/replacement dock

Because you lost

There were 0 anti consumer practices, didn't influence me today chat bot

Psychonauts 2 is on par with some nintendo games, not sure if it counts as bought or not bc doublefine was acquired some time ago

How long until vee stops coping and moves on from the "it's just scalpers" copium? When pokemon and animal crossing releases next year?

I never heard that one before. Tell me more about who it is you think you're talking about.

playstation during the ps4 era provided a much better product than xbox, thats why they got fucked.

However sony cannot compete with nintendo because nintendo is and will allways be the weaponised nostalgia device, no matter how unappealing they make their new consoles there will always be people buying it for nostalgias sake

Holding you accountable either way

Well they didn't phrase the previous gen still being around as an issue of the console being always-online, for one thing. Remember that Edward fucking Snowden's leaks about the US government and the resulting security-paranoia had happened, like, two or three days before the Xbone reveal, and here was Microsoft wanting an always-online console with a fucking camera in your home. It isn't actually similar to how the Xbox shook down at all, Xbox was spitting in your face and telling you either they have access to your privacy or you're left behind forever. Nintendo is saying nothing more than "if you can't afford it, here's the cheaper previous gen."

you'll survive, nintendrapoojeesh

That and having an affordable portable full of games of all genres also helps.

You're doing a great job holding me accountable for criticisms of Nintendo I didn't even make, retard.

Japanese

Sure.
I know.

Sony can't compete with nintendo because nintendo has games
sony even admitted as much under oath in court that they can't compete with nintendo

Just ignore that nintendfag spammer until the inevitable price cut next year. It'll be funny.

nintendo makes their console the same price range as its competitors

Anon Babble starts seething its ass off about "anti-consumer"

don't forget

nintendo makes their stuff the same price as the competition

endless seething about nintendo being "anti-consumer"

a few days later the competition raise all their prices

complete silence

Who the hell is still buying nintendo these days? Most kids these days are playing minecraft and fortnite. I bought both my kids a nintendo switch, but they always end up going back to minecraft coop on PC with their friends over smash and mario kart.

Because Xbox made a $500 online-only brick while Nintendo just made an affordable 10th gen console, affordable as in, it's one of the cheapest ones on the market, the PS handheld will be $600 in 2028, the PS6 is going to be either $800 or $900 in 2028, the next gen Xbox home console will be around $900 or $1,000 in 2027. The first party Xbox handheld will at least be around $400 or $450 in 2027. Nintendo will looked at as the least anti-consumer compared to what's coming Zoom Zoom.

This. Xbox is severely lacking in anything that makes it worth purchasing. Sure there’s the game pass, but it’s not a substitute for great exclusives

Not only this but it's guaranteed that we'll get a Switch 2 Lite by 2027 that will cost only $300 or $350 depending on if it's digital-only or not. The Nintendo Switch 2's price is a complete non-issue.

Ask one of the 150 million people that bought one, retard. Switch 2 already has more exclusives than series x and ps5. Let’s start with that. And it’s not even out.

Who the hell is still buying nintendo these days?

Real gamers, Sony stop giving a shit with the PS3, I'm not coming back to Microsoft until 2027 when they finally get rid of the normie shit and finally move Xbox into Windows where it should have been back in 2001.

This, and another thing:

TV TV TV TV TV TELEVISION TV TV WATCH TV TV TV TV WATERCOOLER TV TV SPORTS TV TV TV

That presentation put so much emphasis on watching TV, it felt completely out of touch.

xbox one launch up was better than ps4 and it still flopped, games don't really matter. Allegiances do

I'm actually still pretty shocked Nintendo didn't raise the console's prices for tariffs.
