If you find a cool landmark, it's going to have a shrine. For the depths, it's going to have a piece of DLC or amiibo armor you had to spend money on with the previous game, showing how very little they had to offer the player for completing tasks

And upgrading your armor is a massive grind without cheats

Adding two new layers on the previous map showcases the main problems of the previous game: Empty space and low enemy variety. The depths has two unique enemies, and the boss you fight in the tutorial island can be found there too

Base weapons are weaker, so you have to use the fusion mechanic to get your worth out of them...and then they still break

And you'll need silver horns eventually because everything else is inefficient on silver enemies and lynels

Fused weapons 7 times out of 10 look awkward

Ultrahand creations are novelties at best, and they'll disappear before you really get to have fun with them
