What controller do you use?
I personally swear by picrel
What controller do you use?
stadia controller i bought for cheap. weird mix of a ps4 and xbox controller. they are sold for 25 bucks on aliexpress, no idea where from though
dualsense
This controller was super ass actually. Don't get me wrong I have nostalgia for it because it's all my broke ass could afford played through all the PSX classics this way but it was a poorfag cope.
nice bait op but I literally use pic related as my daily driver
DS4 with hall effect sticks.
Easily the best controller I've experienced. No ugly xbox stick placement. No retarted nintendo BAYX layout. Has touchpad which is so convenient when gaming on PC from couch.
Sure the stock sticks got drift after 5 years of use, but I got it second hand and for cheap
what's your favorite game OP? just curious here
Hitman Blood Money
I'm using that too, was using a Xbox sex one or whatever but it stopped responding to inputs so I dug up ol' reliable.
they're really good for submarines
A controller for Xbox Series X, in general, I just like the xbox gamepad layout is more comfortable to use.
it just works
i plug adapter into the PC once and game wirelessly without issues, i don't think i will ever need anything else and i feel like when it breaks i will just buy the same one
the only issue is that my previous adapter broke after like 2-3 years (because i was a retard plugging and unplugging it too often) and i had to pay like ~20$ for a new one, but now that i got a new one and downloaded that controller app from microsoft store and installed updates, adapter stopped disconnecting and i don't have to unplug and plug again for it to work, so it will live for many years probably
Love that one actually, send me straight to the bottom of the ocean where I belong
Boy is the dpad on those junk. Literally "press the whole thing down at once" junk.
Never had an issue
I commend people that can use this controller. I personally cannot stand its trigger design.
I'm using one of these, but over Bluetooth.
Works just fine.
I use this. It looks hideous, but it feels great.
Only real issue is the software, or rather the lack thereof.
Any good submarine simulator games that I can play with this game?
I like the 8bitdo, I use pic rel and the only con is the clicky dpad which isn't ideal for fightans. Besides that it's perfect for $30
Subnautica
how could you possibly need more
the submarine shit was in 2023, 2 years ago
It still feels like yesterday.
Dualsense. Perfect shape and layout, responsive, buttons feel good, and the touchpad adds a lot of extra functionality on PC. All it's missing is back buttons, might get some third party ones at some point but haven't had a need yet.
logitech controllers always rattle if you give them a slight shake and the sticks and buttons are always loose the design quality is shit
I scream at my mommy to play games for me while I watch and claim I am playing them on Anon Babble and shit myself aggressively if you she doesn't obey.
I'm 47 by the way.
Is that a repurposed Ouya controller?
That's the only thing I use on my submarine. No way I would sink money on anything else.
That's the biggest issue indeed, who the fuck approved these tiny buttons? The predecessor to the F310 did it right, why did they have to change it?
It's literally the best budget controller on the market, well at least it was until 8Bitdo stopped selling them in America.
This one.
$25
Hall effect joysticks
frictionless sticks
2 remapable additional shoulder buttons
combination membrane/tactile switch d-pad
Sturdy enough to beat a guy to death
The only thing it's missing to be perfect is gyro, otherwise, it's the best budget controller on the market.
It was corona fucking with our sense of time. I've only just recently began to recover.
and i feel like when it breaks i will just buy the same one
or you could buy something that isn't designed to fail
8bitdo ultimate controller
going strong for 2 years. back buttons are great. software is kind of ass but gets the job done and is functional I guess
Bros my right trigger and left stick are drifting on my DualShock 4 v2. What do?
All my controllers rated:
8Bitdo Sn30Pro: 0/5
Hori Pro Controller (Switch): 3/5 **
Dualsense: 4.5/5.0
Hori Split Pad Pro (Switch): 3/5
Hori Pokkén Pro Pad: 4/5 (good for retro games)
Dualshock 4: 4/5 **
Nintendo Joycons: 1/5 **
Logitech F310: 0.5/5.0
Logitech G29 Steering wheel: 3/5 **
Xbox One controller: 4/5 **
PS Classic controller: 2/5
** controllers that suffered the famous drift because of the potentiometers
This one. Was one the shelf in the store near me, not too cheap nor too expensive. The coating is starting to get a bit nasty after a couple of years, the button symbols have worn out and some of the buttons have started to feel worryingly soft, but for the meantime it works.
Unironically this. The rare times I use a controller anyway.
i bought this on walmart.com like 6 years ago. it's no longer available
Looks like the Redragon Saturn G807. Maybe you can find it under that name if you want another one.
Dualshock and 8Bitdo Ultimate
8bitdo pro2 i got it on sale its ok i guess sometimes feels like buttons do a double press though
For me, it's the EasySMX T39
only cost $10
macro support
can't buy one anymore making it extremely rare
I have two 360 controllers and they both have stick drift on the right joystick. What controller would Anon Babble recommend me?
ps3 controller
I'm thinking about this bad boyo to replace my DS4. I tried friend's Xbox One controller and I liked to touch It, but I'm not quite sure about dpad since I like to use it Instead of sticks in old horrors and Tony Hawk games.
I was using a 360 controller for over a decade before I switched to a SeX controller
It never started to drift for me, I only switched because of the dpad
I have one. D-Input sucks on PC, left analog inputs are registered as the face buttons for some reason. It doesn't have these problems when I connect it to the PS3. X-Input is the reverse; it works fine on PC but sucks for PS3 for obvious reasons.
I have it, it's really great. No need for more.
Pic related (hori split pad pro) has breathed new life into my Switch.
It's not as comfortable as I thought it would be, and the controller is clearly a bit cheap (and the analog stick has that "snap" effect typical of lower quality sticks with a larger dead zone), but even so, the experience of playing on it is so much better than the original joycons... Large face buttons are completely essential for an acceptable experience.
It only works in handheld mode, however, and has no extra technology apart from the buttons and analog sticks (no gyroscope, vibration, wifi, batteries, etc.).
