How will Elders Scroll 6 look with him being lead writer?

like oblivion remastered but with a bit better graphics. all bethesda games look same, just more graphical fidelity the newer the game is

shit

Opening cutscene reveals you are Delphineborn

elder scrolls 6 could have resurrected gene wolfe writing the story and lore and without Jeremy Soule it'd still feel bad

Imagine expecting Elder Scrolls 6 wont be fantasy Starfield

Bethesda have really coasted off the reputation created by Morrowind all the way back in 2002 which was only good because people weren't accustomed to open world slop and because the game had half decent art direction. Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim were bad games with few redeeming qualities and Starfield was just straight up dogshit. Emil and Todd, as well as the entire studio, are the textbook definition of midwit.

When did this fag even join Beth? He wasn't there in 2006 and now he's in charge of everything?

He's been with them since 2002. He wrote that shitty Bloodmoon quest with the skooma addict named Uncle Sweetooth or something

I honestly don't care? I'm not going to buy it

If people buy skyrim 2 after experiencing starfield they have themselves to blame

skyrim 2 came out like 2 weeks ago bro

Skyrim 2

That's the point, it could literally be Skyrim 2 with no upgrades or changes and be the best game of the year.

skyrim 2

brother, you will be lucky if you get starfield 2
skyrim 2 would be a fucking miracle for bethesda

if it's written like Starfield was, it's going to be the death of bethesda. They will only be kept alive by their remakes.

You are the Hammerborn!

Is she the most hated character in the series?

Gee, I wonder. Considering Emil hasn't written anything even approaching serviceable since he penned the DB questline in Oblivion, and every game Bethesda has shat out since was worse and worse in the writing department, I imagine the answer is "shit".

But caring about story and writing in an Elder Scrolls game by Bethesda is for retards anyway. They don't give a shit about the setting or the story, all they make are generic, bland, shallow sandboxes that serve as modding frameworks for more skilled designers to build an actual game on top of for free. Except Starfield, that one was so shit, it didn't even manage to grow a modding community. So maybe TES6 is just going to be a pile of shit with no redeeming qualities at all. I wouldn't be surprised.

Bad. I was excited about their promises to bring back an actual dialogue menu with shartfield and get rid of the voiced protagonist. Then I played the game and read their writing. Actual highschoolers can write better than bethesda. It's beyond lazy at this point, its downright embarrassing. Bethesda is a company coasting entirely on their past reputation at this point and its very rare that a legacy company can pull themselves out of the death spiral.

You mean the game that was written by Will Shen and did ALL the things that the critics claimed they wanted:

slower paced

more skill checks

backgrounds and traits

more dialogue options

grandiose esoteric themes rather than boilerplate themes of family or good versus evil

You're fucking cowards. Starfield did all the things you said you wanted but because it didn't turn out the way you envisioned, you're doubling down on denial instead of just admitting that you made bad suggestions.

God damn. Just look at those cold, dead eyes. The face of abject soullessness. Sickening.

Sure, technically Starfield did have all those things. Except it had the most embarrassing dogshit version of everything, and was written by someone clearly mentally and intellectually deficient. So no, in any real sense, Starfield didn't do anything anyone wanted.

main character has a set background

45min intro where you can't move or interact before starting tutorial

3 dialog choices: yes, yes (sarcastic), leave (come back later to say yes)

you are the chosen one and nothing happens in the world without you

your special chosen one power is [set of spells]

can join every guild

no morality system or roleplaying choices, good, evil, lawful and criminal options are available quests (you have access to all and can do them all with no consequences)

Will they add more RPG elements back into TES6 after the success of the Oblivion remaster which has classes, major/minor skills, and attributes?

guy writes a good quest that is well received and beloved a decade later

that means he should write everything

Is there one thing right and making sense left in the Bethesda dev cycle

Story is going to be boring as shit, mods are going to be more barebones and lackluster so I think I'll pass.

That's just American companies in general. You get promoted until you hit the position where you do shit to not be promoted further.

Hopes

Necromancer guild that lets me become a worm eremite

Vampire lord form that doesn't turn off all my normal (better) abilities

Wereshark

Wereshark gf

Master level conjuration summons permanent daedric (female) followers

Master level illusion that permanently fucks NPC/animal (female) mind turning them into a friendly follower servant slave

Master level necromancy I can make a corpse of my choosing into a vampire (female) pure-blood follower

Minimum of 1 gf tier follower per guild, each with unique lines of dialogue and marriageable

Minimum 3 followers allowed at one time, preferably more

Followers interact with each other and environment and adapt to my playstyle

Polygamy mechanics

Marriageable gods/daedric princes

Base building mechanics that let me build a cult compound in the desert, populated by my hundreds of human, mer, and animal wives

Fears

Too human looking elves

No marriageable argonians in base game

No necromancy allowed ("B-b-but redguards hate necromancers!" It's the province where the King of Worms ascended to become god of necromancy, there is zero excuse for not having a sizeable underground necromancy population)

Main character voiced by some hollywood trashbag

Muh civil war: forebears vs crowns edition

All his bad writing tendencies dialed up to 11 and with more politics shoved into it

imperials are now even more flanderized

thalmor even more one-dimensional than before, sacrificing babies and burning pregnant women at the stake and running concentration camps

dialogue choices even more worthless than fallout 4, will add one line then railroad right back to the main dialogue he wants you to hear

you are most definitely the chosen one and there will be like 15 prophecies about it

redguards will be oppressed despite being able to immediately reform and maintain their state after the empire stabbed them in the back

(stay silent) in half the dialogue options

failed attempt at making new memes

contrarians on Anon Babble will pretend the game is amazing despite it being mobile-tier gameplay with 3rd grade level writing

smurf dying.jpg - 612x612, 86.44K

slower paced

Having to jump through 6 different loading screens to go to a planet with the same 5 outposts on it is "slow" but more the kind that eats glue and rides the short bus

more skill checks

backgrounds and traits

The vast majority of which do nothing. There might be all of ONE skill check in this piece of shit that changes something and that's it.

more dialogue options

yes

sarcastic yes

maybe later

ai generated speech check

grandiose esoteric themes

dude what if like.....multiverse?

Emil was the lead designer so literally everything wrong with starfield can be blamed on him and todd for being more concerned with hocking shitty watches than managing the project.
