This all requires an entire diversity team coordinated with arts, camera workers and developers, and the man hours it costs to cover it all.
All for a setting no player uses authentically, but they use it to make an ugly abomination character to make fun of vitiligo, which is especially egregious due to the focus on how authentic and true to life the depiction of it was.
I argue that putting forth resources to implement Vitiligo into games just creates fetishicization, antimosity, and real world bullying to people with the condition, and that it's both financially and morally deficient to dedicate development time to doing something that will cause the community harm.

It took around 8 months through 3 different builds of the game to completely finalize Blind Accessibility, we went from 2 guys on the team to 7, not including the QA testers and the consultants.
