I'm 35 and that was Death Stranding for me. Been enjoying Expedition 33, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table like Kojima's KINO MASTERPIECE DID. I expect Death Stranding 2 to take the throne the first one did for me.

I think a 'golden ending' where everyone was mostly happy would've been too saccharin for an ultimately (melo)dramatic game like this.

Incredible story and music. Great RPG gameplay with a lot of ways to customize your characters and tackle the game in different ways. Genuine exploration. Not checklists or anything, just lots of random little paths and extra places on the world map that offer genuine surprises and rewards.

EASILY top 3 games I've ever played. I love JRPGs and this elevated the genre to a whole new level. The writing in this game is some of the best I've seen in a video game, the pacing, the intensity, the bit of humour. Can't forget about the music and combat either, both 10/10! All this for the $60CAD. Other game companies need to follow Sandfalls example.
