I mostly played on console. PC was horrendous up until the Next gen "enhanced" version being brought to PC, in which I've thus far experienced NO hacking, so I guess their anti-cheat must be working.
The game REALLY IS ass in a great number of ways and people have criticized it to Hell and back. I've had a love hate relationship with it. I've played the game for various reasons. Sunk cost, seeing how many hours I'd have to put into it before I can say "I've retired", aquiring the neverending new things there are to buy in the game, etc. Above all else though, the game, in all of it's terrible glory offers a few things no other game does. There's no other "gta online" in existence outside of mods, in which I'm pretty sure everyone just roleplays, and in no other game can I do stupid stuff like larp as a bimbo and kill everyone or troll other players in the strange ways this game allows.
I've mostly stopped playing the game because grinding is terribly repetitive and not fun, but I still play here and there. I just wish the game was designed to be more like the game it is fundamentally, and it could do for a lot of changed that would make it a better experience by far.

Gregtech New Horizons takes around 5000 hours to complete even if you speedrun it. And that was a while ago I'm assuming it's even bigger now.

I guess my 'tism isn't that bad then given I've only made it to late LV where it still feels like the game hasn't even begun yet what with the very limited automation.

pretty much, it only starts for real in MV with AE2 and the like, but after IV or something it becomes the same cookie-cutter multiblock spamming loop and lacks any and all ingenuity

FWIW it's not that the engineering got too hard, I just lost patience waiting for resources to process, and expanding production capacity at current tier would've been a major sink in time and resources that wouldn't get me there any faster and would've quickly been outdated.

My friend is autistic and he has 2.5k hours in elder scrolls online and 900 in elder scrolls legends. Just because you have the tism doesn't mean you are guaranteed to play anything special.
