I tried to look past the shooting and driving being worse than games released a decade prior and the atrocious cast of characters thrown at you in the first half hour, but when V's apartment started bugging out and the cops attacked me for doing a bounty offered by the NCPD, I gave up. Game is half-baked to say the least, and ironically doesn't feel as much cyberpunk as it does Mad Max. Maybe that's the way the source material is, I don't know, but I know it's not fun. It's also hard to tell when the game is being serious or trying to be satirical.
I'll stick to Deus Ex and Far Cry. Not to mention the actual Mad Max game which is genuinely fun. If I wanted Borderlands, I'd play Borderlands. At least that has multiplayer.

It's like going from Fallout New Vegas to Fallout 4; and "RPG" that tries its hardest to streamline or outright remove all RPG aspects. I'm not going to refute this, as I enjoyed the story tremendously myself. But I do have gripes with some parts of it. Like the heist and the getting the chip so early in the game's main story. Especially in an open world game. And, to me, it ruins the sense of urgency that follows the heist mission, when you run around doing all of these side missions and quests. I personally would have like to have this section as a later part of the main story. And have whatever is in the montage be the first part of the story. Letting us build our character's reputation and grow closer to the characters there, like Jacke.
Unless Rebecca is in the game, the game will forever suck
