Yeah plenty of times the schedules for RTA and BSG's week-long events overlap for a few days.
We had that autism before when they overlapped and people forced separate threads. It resulted in both threads just dying. Not like either event is so much more active that it overshadows any possible discussion of the other one. Plus every marathon thread has had discussion of other speedrun events, so don't know why that anon is complaining so much.

The 4chin shutdown made me realize how much watching speedrun events with a tab on a thread here unironically improves the whole thing Minor events and ESA if it actually returns always get a nice bonus but GDQs and related events circa 2018 are downright unwatchable without one of these up.

Quite a lot of the regulars aren't going back, even the last one with a bunch of people being unable to pull out it was pretty dismal and full of backup runners.
Many people don't want to touch it with Edenal and Planks in charge, and that's not changed, even though they tried to make people think they were going to quit with that end of marathon video.
what happened, I havent watched ESA in a while
A lot of stuff, but one staff member came out about some sexual harassment shit that went on with admin trying to sweek it under the rug, and that started an avalanche of other staff and attendees airing their own problems, basically all stemming back to ESA being horribly mismanaged by admins.
Separate from that they pushed out all of Scheduling and a bunch of other teams, even Metako walked after having spent years there.
After that all dropped they had one marathon where a ton of people pulled out of working/running and then put it on a "hiatus" while hoping it all blows over.

Two games, Goat Simulator which has 4 DLCs to it and Goat Simulator 3 which only has this DLC, they recently remastered Goat Simulator and included the DLC into one single purchase.
Gotta check oengus and horaro to see if anything else needs to be added.
