Since the Switch the Zelda IP has turned inwards instead of broadening it's appeal. They ditched Link's iconic design in favor of "pointy eared twink in a blue shirt" and turned Zelda into coomer bait with a peach of an arse.
Nintendo has been mishandling all it's IPs especially poorly lately, probably because all the talent that made them what they were are all dead or retired.
