In short 4090 and 5090 connect 4x8pin into 1 12hpwr connector and draw too much power from it because 4090 is rated 450W and 5090 is rated 575W. A common fix to that is to pull 1 8pin cable from the psu so that connector wont melt. 9070xt uses only 3x8 pin and is rated 300W so 12hpwr cable is ok
