yeah, that's pretty much it. you pick a character from a list of presets with special powers/traits, it drops you and a couple other players onto a chunk of the Elden Ring map, and you farm/battle as much as you can till the Storm funnels everyone to the final boss. it sounds like a fucking blast to me as someone who doesn't want every session to get dragged out into a 3 hour completionist meta run.
