Games that filtered Anon Babble
filtered as in none of the zoomers here even knew this existed?
filtered as in none of the zoomers here even knew this existed?
Zoomers know what Witcher 3 is and therefore know a Witcher 1 exists
i look like this and sound like this
I wanted to play it ever since I watched that one zero punctuation about it. But he was right playing this game is only for the most computer merd of computer nerd pc master race types.
I'm not playing the censored remake though, fuck that shit. I'll try this game again after I finish reading the books.
Filtered AND a culture war dumbass
I don't care if it makes me stupid, give me the stupid gamified witch titty cards.
unironically the best witcher game
You never even played the game retard stop acting like your some long time fan angry at the change, that's reserved for REAL fans
Could you collect all the cards in one playthrough? I think I missed some
I've played through it two and a half times and cant blame someone for getting filtered by that gameplay
no
Nope some cards like Shani/Triss could only be gotten by siding with one or the other
Nope, some are exclusive to your chosen story path, if you want to see them all you need 2 or 3 playthroughs
Witcher 1 is fun imo but to say it's the best Witcher game makes you either
Have extremely shitty taste
You are just a contrarian
I never understood the rhytm game criticism. It felt kinda fitting, after reading the way the books describe witchers' fighting style and training. I unironically think they should've went that way again in w3, by using akrham-style combat (replacing gadgets with signs and bombs), it would've made total sense.
t. played the game before enhanced edition and lost my hard drive to it
Its my fav of the 3 though.
The tutorial sucks ass though, and the outskirts village prologue is only decent. I understand why so many get filtered. Once you get into the city though the game is incredible.
Also I love the swamp, haters are just retards who stop to fight every single fucking drowner they encounter.
if you prefer 2 or 3 you just have extremely shitty taste
but the other two are still fun imo :)
You realize contrarianism isn't a replacement for a personality right?
Out of the people that have actually played all 3, I doubt it's a contrarian opinion.
Liking open world slop isn't a great personality either
Like Fury 3?
Gameplay is the worst but setting and story shit on the other two
Fair enough
the difference between solving the detective subplot correctly and not is that you start the act 2 end boss fight on your ass or standing
should have done more with that
thinking about the combat in w2 just pisses me off, what a fucking downgrade. they massacred everything
It was just janky, extremely so when you did fist fights
w2 had other problems too, like the console tier inventory management
Contrarian
IDK, still the best Witcher game story wise.
How come so very few characters you meet in 1 never show up or are barely mentioned in the sequels
yeah pretty common issue in that time-period where things were designed for consoles first, then PC second.
mods help out a tiny bit but doesn't solve the root problem of just the game fighting you at every step of the way.
they are not canon characters
Action combat sucks all the fun out of RPG's, by being the most TTG it' the most enjoyable
Which ones do your think should have re-appeared?
How many more characters from 1 did you want to show up?
Triggered
this,
RPG combat should be trivial to execute and be mostly decided by tactics and stats
if you're making an action-RPG you need to step up and make an actually good combat system that's fun on it's own (see dark souls, diablo clones)
none of the witcher games have made a combat system that qualifies, so the best one is the one that is the most tactical and the least of a hassle to play, which is W1
TES games are in the same bucket, none of them are good action-RPG games so the best systems are the ones which are simples to play and that have the most tactical options
That sword is for monsters...
I liked Vincent, aside from that they closed the (very obvious) Alfie thing in 3
explain
Twitter and Reddit aren't talking about it therefore it's good. If they start talking about it then it will be considered bad
It was shit, underbaked combat, world etc
No kalkstein
Honestly that sums up my hate for 2 and 3.
I member playing W1 and 2 when 3 came out. I bought W1 many years before but couldn't into it. After realizing it was a rythym game it became so much more enjoyable.
3 also got me to read the source material which was decent fantasy even if Sapkowski stole it from another author.
Retarded, holy retard, and fuck you're a faggot retard with no actual opinion.
He stole it from a trans activist who gives a shit
After realizing the combat was """"""rhythm"""""" based, did you play the game?
It was mentioned somewhere in 3 that he was burned alive by witch hunters.
I like game because old=good
Your the last faggot to talk about having opinions
vincent: werewolf vigilante in vizima who dates the local whore
Not sure why we'd see him again.
alfie
Did you mean alvin?
Anyway I think more than enough characters reappear throughout the games. It would be kind of weird if Geralt was constantly around EVERYBODY. Characters doing things and living their life without geralt makes them feel more real.
Yeah, I 100% it. I liked the prep you did before fighting, was like the actual prep described in the books. Geralt wasn't a slaughtering machine without his potions and combat wasn't just chug thunderbolt.
Honestly should probably replay it, last time I booted W3 it felt like new R* shit, don't know what update fucked the input. I never finished Blood and Wine.
Being a contrarian == having a personality
I played the first Witcher back in 07 or 08 because I found it in the bargain bin of a games store for $2. It was very eurojank but I was used to it back then I had played some Gothic games and STALKER. I was surprised how big the series became. My biggest criticism with the original game are the npc models, they only have like 4 models that keep getting recycled. Swamps can be repetitive and you go back and forth a lot but it’s not too bad. It was a really fun game, the characters and lore really make up for its drawbacks. Banging women in the Enhanced Edition is fun too lol.
vincent: werewolf vigilante in vizima who dates the local whore
Not sure why we'd see him again.
NTA but because that's cool, also 3 WAS suppose to have him show up again with his own quest but it got cut
I don't know how saying 1 is better than 3 makes you a contrarian if it's just true.
also 3 WAS suppose to have him show up again with his own quest but it got cut
Ah, well that sucks. Don't bring up all the ideas that didn't make it in 3 because it upsets me...
No one is making that comparison
Don't really get your post but OK.
I played W3 on release for hundreds of hours. I replayed it when both the DLC came out. I got halfway through BaW and got bored.
I installed it last year and the camera was up Geralt's ass and hitting a button made him slowly turn, it isn't the same game I remember playing back in 2015. I assume it was an update or something that fucked the feel of the movement.
kys ESL
*drops mic*
I accept your concession
More like *drops*
That reminds me is Concord basically Anon Babbles new Torantic now
I accept your condition.
they killed him off-screen in TW3
Right wing character that is loved
Kill him off to piss off right wing fans
Many such cases
I'm confused on how that's ESL
I know.
Vincent is attached to a location. It wouldn't make sense to have him outside the city.
He has a butt plug
You can read about this in the witcher 3.
I played it and liked it. Although combat sucks you can get used to it and everything else carries it hard enough to look past it
normalfags like you love to bust out the word contrarian when someone doesn't like 'the popular thing'
agree with whis. It's mechanically a nightmare, but the story, the characters, the rpg-side and all the other details put it way above the others.
Only part that come close is act 1 of witcher 2.
2 and 3 are much better mechanically, but are lacking in the points I've listed above.
Also 1 is the only one to accurately portray the philosophy of Geralt accurately
It is a mix of a lot of jank and a lot of soul
youtube.com
this. It's like a compultion to them. Same with "U DINDU READ/PLAY/WATCH IT!" and "U DINDU 'NNERSTAND IT" and "WHY DON'T YOU WATCH [OUTLANDISH ALTERNATIVE] THEN?"
When this happens you know they are just defending their identity (product) from an aggressor
It's mechanically a nightmare
it really isn't
Combat is really clunky
Inventory gets easily filled to the brim with shitty petals
Quests require you to go back and forth through loading screens
It's clearly the product of extremely inexperienced devs with good intentios, and I love good intentions when you are making something. It makes me willing to overllok many things
You mother
Sucks
Dwarf
Cock
I just disagree with the "clunky" thing I have no clue what you zoomers mean by this. 3 combat felt "clunky" if i'm guessing what that means but maybe we don't have the same idea of what that means. The inventory space I consider to be genius. It didn't look like it would be enough but it held up well the entire game, so we have totally different experiences there. Loading screens flashed by in half a second on my machine.
My balls itch...
i beat it last month
extremely inexperienced devs
compared to what? the utterly incompetent "experienced" devs that churn out mediocre trash today?
What do you think that there are 32 other Expedition games? Or two more Beldur's Gates? Get real grandpa.
I'm not a zoomer and I don't usually go around throowing the word clunky. W1 is clunky.
Inventory space is shit. Herbs should have their wn inventory and a petal shouldn't occupy the same space of solid object.
I didn't play it on a modern pc, I played it ages ago and loading screens were annoying, especially when you are going etween town and swamp over and over again to talk to people (which is boring quest design, again a product of inexperienced devs)
I liked it very much, but let's call a spade a spade. This is not like dunno Tomb Raider that, like it or not, it has a specific design in mind
No, compared to devs who both have the heart in the right place AND also learned and improved from their past imperfect attempts and ideas
Him being able to die in Witcher 1 kinda hurt his chances, I'd say.
even if Sapkowski stole it from another author.
Rarzorfist is retarded.
such as...?
W1 is clunky.
whatever that means
Well, I played Sekiro and loved it so yeah.
Stop sealioning anon
