Morrowind pure mage

morrowind pure mage

How are you supposed to survive in cramped dungeons? pParalyze spell is too expensive and hard to cast and everyone just runs past my trash summons

tfw no bipolar god complex Chimer gf

Better get comfortable with close range combat, because Target spells are too expensive and difficult to cast at low skill levels.
Visit a Spellmaker, create strong touch spells and touch grass.

You can cast invisibility to get them to focus on your summons, mark/recall can give you some space, you can fortify speed, or jump/levitate to a place the AI can't reach you. While using destruction be sure to keep race and creature resistances in mind.

sounds like you're not cut out to be a mage. maybe you should try some different styles

Backpedaling. The morrowind experience.

Man when are Morrowindfags gonna move on?

Bound weapons and armor lel
demon tanto from the balmora khajit

Use the same tool any character can use when you need something dead fast. Spam enchanted items or scrolls with destruction effects. Shops with scrolls carry them and they're all over random containers in dungeons. You can find enchanted rings or staffs with similar effects too. You can have 60 fireballs in your pocket that you can throw out as fast as you can left click.

AlmaSEXia owes me sex

Just use stuff like Illusion, Alteration, etc. and go full melee.

Area, always 100

Abuse alchemy.
Spam maxxed spells.
It's that easy.

it's all fun and games until she pulls out a spear from under that loincloth

Buy the Absorb Health spell from Pelagiad and don't worry about getting any troubles from the early game.

Just break the game using exploits like everyone does and cheese the game with retardedly broken op spells.

This is a game that you mostly play to explore the world and story. Combat is completely secondary to the experience.

Haha oh no how big is her spear haha

I played Morrowind main campaign and most all of the guild and house quests but never played Tribunal. What happened with the other two not Vivic members of the Tribunal exactly?

Dead.

summon shit, fly in the air and shit out fireballs

thoughtlessly try to sell a merchant some ebony

crime reported

can't remember what i have is stolen

probably everything

dump my shit into a public box before i go talk to a guard

suddenly the most wanted man alive

brew your restore magicka potions

lexi has a woman moment and kills the autist for no reason (literally) and then you kill her in self-defense

When using conjuration custom spells with shorter duration is mandatory. And while you can't have the same spell effect more than once on a spell, or the same spell active more than once on a character, you can have multiple active spells that do the same thing. No one is going to be running past the 3-5 skeletons you have summoned to guard you. Remember to use destruction spells that your summons are immune to, and you can cast efficient AoE touch spells on your bone wall and damage the enemies attacking it.
Be aware that OpenMW alters AI targeting behavior in ways that make summons much less reliable, in vanilla Morrowind creatures will target the first or closest enemy (switching targets once they take damage), in OpenMW there's a formula to decide which target is highest value, and it can result in them running right past the guy charging at you with an axe and having their timer expire before they reach the archer in the distance.

get to old ebonheart

immediately start going through the containers like in balmora

STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM

How am I supposed to get cheap stuff now at the early levels?

When someone makes a worthy successor to Morrowind. So never.

How am I supposed to get cheap stuff now at the early levels?

file.png - 2550x3301, 199.53K

Get a job you lazy bum

Waiting for Morrowind 2.

pretty simple

azura says no

nerevar is simping azura hard

the three cuntbuddies decide they'd rather be gods than not

and then they cut off nerevar's cock

Just go do Ahnissi's or Larrius Varro's quests, if you haven't already.

Why did they cut off his dick? And his feet...and his face? Seems a bit excessive. And where did Vivec get Molag Bal's penis from?

not canon

...???
Vivec literally admits to it.

replaying morrowind after king's field 4, I noticed that the biggest problem with this game is how weightless and floaty everything feels
there isnt a mod to fix that, is there?

Man when are Morrowindfags gonna move on?

Why should they? They're still getting new content to this day.

When my inventory gets full, i mark, alsmivi intervention, dump it and recall.
So here's my garage sale outside a temple.

An aside, i complete all the mages guild quests for othmura from TR (only 2, but all around one dungeon). Mid reward, but the dungeon, the boss, and the progress I made all the way through this was tremendous. Took a long time too. Very fun, I do recommend.

First of all use enchants and alchemy for your expensive defensive spells. Such spells should include chameleon if you can raise it to 100% (it's easy if you find certain items), levitation to put you out of range and a mix of fortified agility with sanctuary do dodge everything shall you remain in melee range. Use alchemy to increase your health and magicka pool.

Fighting other mages you may want to use reflexion and watch them kill themselves with their own spell.

As for damaging your enemy try to weaken them at first, damage or drain their attritubes, strength is a priority because you can nail them in place while making yourself stronger in melee. Then you may use your damage spells but again that's expensive for something a melee weapon can handle easily. If you suck at melee try summoning bound weapons, they're easy to cast, weightless, fortify their related stats while you have them equiped and have the same stats as daedric weapons.
Alternatively you can enchant items to provide the damage spells if you really want to melt people with destruction magic.

Magic in Morrowind is extremely overpowered once you understand you have all the tools to break the game.

Using calm instead of paralysis, way cheaper.

If you're playing tamriel rebuilt, check out the barrister's guild in old ebonheart, they have a quest for you.

magic

Gay. What are good skills/attributes for spears?

spear, medium armor, endurance

1. Be Redgaurd

Bound spear. I'm serious.
Your average enchanted silver spear is 23 damage + 4 elemental.
The bound spear is daedric, and enchanted with constant 10 spear skill. So thats 40 damage + 10% chance to hit.

I could swear there was an MWSE mod that adds movement inertia to camera but I can't find it, did I imagine that?

Why is morrowind so much better than oblivion and skyrim

devil spear from ra'jirr is good too

how fast would Almalexia be on your dick if you were to get anime isekai'd on morrowind and had some bullshit powers that she did not have? I mean, the nerevarine get assassins sent on his ass starting day 0

pure mage

all you need is one shield

Damage health for a value of 200 kills almost everything, but you can just either get lots of sanctuary points and find out there are many things that ignore it or abuse the potion exploit and become a true god who can cast spells that murder or brainwash everything in the entire loaded cell... Or both.

conjure armor enchantments

now invincible

if you fail at being a caster in morrowind you are hopeless

When will Todd move on from Skyrim?

I often used divine intervention in TR because it takes you to the old ebonheart town square in a huge radius, and the khajiit woman that has her shop facing the square has a ton of money and buys almost everything.

Just slap people with touch spells and make em explode

He did. Into worse games.

Thoughts on the difficulty slider in MW? Have you ever played on max difficulty?

The last thing you see before your feet get cut off

Yes, just so I can extend the period before I become completely broken by a bit. Seriously the optimal way to play Morrowind for me is to retire each character after like two or three questlines.

Next time I do a modded run I'm going to try difficulty re-balance mods like Beware the Sixth House

Honestly I agree with them, how cucked do you have to be to reject godhood at some petty bitch daedra's say-so?

Not sure why they cut him into ribbons after, just chimer being chimer I guess.

mage sucks in morrowind. people say its the best playstyle but they are full of shit. destruction sucks.

It's hard starting out but you really have to make sure your fatigue is at max

LAYERS nigga, LAYERS

he didn't turn invisible

he isn't flying out of reach

he didn't fortify health

he didn't summon bound gear

he didn't use absorb health

he didn't bring potions

he didn't learn Recall to escape danger

Never gonna make it.
Stop playing mage like a fighter in robes.
You should never be in a position where martialcucks can touch you, let alone damage you.

if you mean the vanilla slider all it does is increase phys damage taken and reduce phys damage dealt resulting in you getting one shot a lot and doing sad amounts of melee damage, better off avoiding things like meta stuff and stealing to curb your power

How to deal with reflect magic

When Skyrim: HoTN and Project Cyrodiil get their full releases.

Don't make pure magic characters is the simplest option. other than that i guess dispel or if you're playing dark elf or breton you have innate resistances

31352646336.png - 365x456, 296.04K

This is too complicated. I need a one-button rotation like WoW.

posting this info has gotten me banned from morrowind discords before. fuckem I say I will cheat and go ayy lmao in my alien fantasy land all I want. become ungovernable
I just made a mod that allowed me to regen health and magicka like stamina (still died a bunch, its not as useful as you think and resting is still faster if the tank is empty and the fight just ended)
also gave myself 75 speed and endurance and everything else at 50, with everything except intelligence and willpower locked so I cant increase them anymore. intelligence and willpower were my class stats so they get a boost to 60 in early game
my classes are just all the mage skills except unarmored, plus light armor and short swords.
thats what I did for my first pure mage run. I count summoned weapons to be pure magic and armor is fine for a mage.
oh forgot to mention, at 100 intelligence, my character would have 500 magicka and 1000 with the woe armor. why? cause I wanted to be trigger happy with my spells and wanted to be an altmer and breton with both apprentice and atronach stone while still being a dunmer. still died a fuck ton and it took forever to get any meaningful magicka regeneration done. the regen was mostly so I dont have to find a bed between quests.

Why would you get banned for that?

purists blew a fuse.
I was in some meme magic only morrowind circlejerk discord.
what I described to you is my first pure mage run. I got enough confidence to just do vanilla mage runs after that.
guess my cheating got my access revoked.
picrel is my honest reaction to this development.

Nwah.jpg - 480x480, 29.48K

Gayer than aids, they did you a favor

Why would you join a discord that wasn't just with some close friends anyways

Kys

it was 2018, discord wasnt gay yet

vivec says that to reach true godhood (become anu or whatever) you need to be one and know no equal. the three becoming gods together ruined it for them. vivec even tells you in game that he hopes you can walk the path alone and do what they failed at. guess azura knew what she was talking about after all.

The destination spots must be such sweet spots for services, like traders or healers, yet empty.

Everyone is on discord, retard.

Bring some potions of Restore Strength or learn a low level Restore Strength spell. It's easy enough to not get turbo fucked them once you know what they do.

Magic is OP in Morrowind but spells honestly suck. Just enchant everything and run around blasting people with your power rings while floating.

I have a massive pile of shit in front of the temple of zenithar in narsis

how long can you leave them hanging there before they despawn?

You mean "why did the Tribunal betray Nerevar" or "why did they mutilate his corpse?" You'll get different answers everywhere you look, but here are my preferred explanations:

Why did they betray Nerevar?

The year was 1E700. Post-Battle of Red Mountain. The Dwemer were defeated but the Chimer were reeling from the most destructive conflict their people have ever seen: Their lands devastated by war, poverty, disease, compounding natural disasters, you name it; toxic ash blocked out the sun, huge swaths of land made uninhabitable, entire settlements wiped off the map. The gods abandoned them in their time of need and their chief was too slow to act, but through the Heart of Lorkhan the Tribunal saw the power to change that. In becoming gods themselves they saved their people and led them into a new golden age...for better or worse.

Why mutilate his corpse

That one's a bit more symbolic. Basically, the Tribunal knew Nerevar was eventually coming back and sought to aid in his resurrection. They might have went against his wishes but he was still their cherished friend/teacher/lover. They took his face so he could return as anyone, his feet so he could walk any path, etc.
....or, you know, it could be just a silly ashlander scrawl with no real meaning behind it. I accept either or

I took over Cyrtumir's manor through judicious use of Command Humanoid and have been piling all my loot in the vault downstairs. It's a nice place and the super rich trader is right across the street.

I don't understand how you guys even use Discord. Do you just wander around joining tons of random private servers and DM'ing random people? How do you not get massive social anxiety do this.

cheat mage nwah here.
from 2020 to 2023 I was in the same 3 servers and nothing outside them talking to same 50 people.
havent used it since.
it was a nice place to find friends. you interact with 100,000 people over the decade its been a thing and if you have good standards and filter the trash, you get to find at 20-100 decent frens.

yeah
it actually makes magic worthwhile because it doesn't get altered while you now do like 1/16th weapon damage or something ludicrous

never bothered with tribunal and bloodmoon before

did tribunal first

dark sewers all fucking day

now doing bloodmoon

korean mmo tier enemy spam

Gotta say, it's not very fun.

Items on the ground are permanent, they will never despawn.

Yeah Morrowind DLC sucks. Shivering Isles is the first TES DLC that is actually good.

enchanted items, summons, running around like a cockroach if can't levitate

there are twenty spriggans following me aren't there

Is there any mod that lowers your backpedaling speed?

Can you tell they made each expansion in 3 months

shit. that most be bloating my save up.
how do I make that crap despawn? put them in a container? most of it is shit I didnt want to carry around in dungeons.

It's not a big deal in Morrowind DESU. Savegame bloat due to items not despawning only got bad in Oblivion and Skyrim, mostly because of arrows and corpses.

Are you playing on a toaster from 2006?

no but I know from skyrim that once the saves bloat up, we get the bug of doom(I think it was called)where the game's logic, animation and stuff keeps getting slower and slower.

did they actually get that buttblasted by oblivion remastered?

Tribunal's funny because it feels like a medium-scope "big" mod by like 5 hobbyists.

okay we're gonna make a town and a couple of dungeons and fill them with batshit endgame enemies because people break the game anyway

no you can't go outside the town, none of us are good at external cells, we'll just teleport you in and out of the city and claim to be on the mainland

Is it just me or are the areas tamriel rebuilt adds all cluttered with shit that makes the game run like ass?

I've got three ideas for my virgin TR Hlaalu playthrough (haven't even done the Andothren content). What about you guys? How do you prepare for a playthrough?

1 Cyro-dunmeri legionary transfered to Vvardenfell, falling in with some bad types while on leave.

2 pauper/thief living in a cramped St. Olms apartment with the rest fo his family

Hlaalu Scion (probably of the Oran family) leaving for the mainland due to ambition (and a skooma addiction)

A little off topic, but I feel like this is the first real Anon Babble thread to happen in a long time. We spend so much time talking ABOUT video games that we don't ever get down to actually talking about them.

Thanks, OP. güd thread

Modder syndrome, they can't help but adding more and more and more clutter. I remember there used to be mods to add trees to Balmora that turned it into a dense tropical fucking rainforest.

Name another game we can do this.
I've never fully beaten morrowind

used a lighting mod for a while

in most areas it was pretty good

except they added a light to every single window on every building in Balmora and it made my FPS tank to single digits whenever I entered the city

Modders have no restraint

We've had these threads going since TR released its new update. 500+ posts in everyone of them

Post your system specs

I have a 5800x and 3070

When are you gonna move on from being angry that people like old games better?
Gonna cry about Melee and TF2 as well?

Do you have like 4gb of RAM or something?

A lot of that is bickering about minor lore details like whether Dres's economy is slavery with a little agriculture or agriculture with a little slavery.

Ya but I mostly just see bitching about it and all the same crying and whining and fighting.
Thread's clearly better than most and I'm gonna install Morrowind tonight.

WHAT MODS ARE ESSENTIAL NOWADAYS

it's a lot of agriculture made possible by a lot of slavery

No, the framerate in the cites tanks to like 30 fps and the game has to load navigation meshes like I was running the original game back in the 2000s in the new areas.

outside of the cities im fine.

OpenMW or MGEXE?

Dragons Dogma 2

OpenMW, I'd rather just not play the TR stuff if that's the issue.

I'm not sure how you're fucking this up then, anon.
Everything just werks with OpenMW.
Are you loading in a bunch of other mods or just TR?

True STL only returns 3d printing I think you may be retarded.

if you're running base textures you should be fine. It's only morrowind

It's only the new areas that suck. Everything in the base game runs amazing.

hownu.ru

NTA but I really don’t know what to say beyond “works on my machine”

alchemy, enchanting

Make a spell that gives levitate 1 point on target for a range of 10 ft or so. Should be magicka efficient and enemies will now be way too slow to group up and kill you. You could also do something like a weakness to magicka+damage speed spell to get them to a point where they can't even walk anymore but that will usually be a lot more expensive.

Feels batman

Hurr

huuuuurrr

So, did we come to a conclusion yesterday regarding Dres being an Agricultural slave economy or an agricultural Slave economy?

People said that TR changes the requirements for guilds and makes you do a lot of mainland missions to progress is that true? Does it make it take a lot longer?

Hurr

durr

huuuuurrr

yes you said that already

There's an optional mod you can install that unifies the vvardenfell and mainland guilds, and yes that makes progress slower. I did every mission I could in vvardenfell for the thieves guild and I wasn't a high enough rank for jim stacey to give me the final set of missions. I was confused then, but I don't mind now because I generally like the mainland missions.

Mages guild isnt optional and it is handled terribly. Nobody tells you to go check the mainland guilds for more duties they just tell you you don't meet the requirements. I thought there was supposed to be a quarantine anyway.

"In 3E 433, rumors circulating in the province of Cyrodiil suggested that House Dres had finally accepted Imperial rule and renounced the slave trade."

My guess is that it depends on the time period you're talking about and the Dres were likely transitioning from relying on slave labour ever since the Armistice, but needed to buy time and stonewalled abolition until the time was right.

Agricultural slave economy, not agricultural Slave economy
The farming is for money
The slavery is just for fun

For me?
It's the transitional period between agricultural Slave economy into Agricultural slave economy.
Imperial presence is making it too hard to acquire new slaves so Dres is forced to make better use of the slaves they have, shifting its focus in trying to get more production out of less territory.

these n'wahs from akavir?

Did imperials even fully conquer blacknarsh? I thought the majority of it was inaccessible to non argonians and the hist just do whatever the fuck they want

Oblivion rumor

not canon

Aren't traders outside?

"Most Imperial citizens assume the practice will die out as Morrowind adopts Imperial ways, and the subject excites little passion except among Argonian and Khajiit abolitionists, outraged that the Empire does little to suppress persistent illegal cross-border slave raiding in southern Morrowind."

Valenwood
They are Altmer-aboos

Nigga they from Summerset Isles they old lore they think they people and shiet

oh, thought these were some tang mo'ther fuckers from akavir

we won't need to enforce our ways once they adopt them peacefully with zero issues :)

Optimistic those imperials

What happaned to the Ayelid's that fled to Valenwood? Did the Alessians pursue them?

They continued on to Summerset and became the foundation of the Thalmor movement that would take control of the isles following the Oblivion Crisis

The Great Apes of Valenwood
The Great Apes, or Imga, are native beastfolk of Valenwood. They see the High Elves as their lords and masters, and as a portrait of an ideal, civilized society. Great Apes go to desperate measures to emulate the High Elves: they wear capes, practice with the dueling sword, and attempt to speak with perfect enunciation and courtly manners despite their gravelly, baritone voices. Each Imga bears some kind of title, be it Baron, Duke, Earl, or the like, which they use when addressing the members of the Thalmor (needless to say, there are no landowning Great Apes). More extreme Great Apes shave their bodies and powder their skin white to seem more like the High Elves. They often cut themselves in the process, creating the truly pathetic picture of a naked white Ape, skin dotted pink with blood, strutting around the trading posts of Valenwood with mock nobility. The Imga feel that humans are beneath them as lesser beastfolk, and pretend to find their smell exceedingly offensive - a Great Ape holds a perfumed corner of his cape to his nose when Men are around.

Valenwood also has fairies and centaurs, too, as far as native peoples go. There might be a couple more, but those are what I remember.

You know how queer abolitionists are, let a few raiding parties cross the border and suddenly you're doing nothing to stop slavery.
The Empire does make it harder for Dunmer to enslave men/mer/beastkin outside of Morrowind, the only question is how hard it has become and which families within the House(s) have needed to change their business strategy in order to survive the change.

?

I liked the Legion quest in Narsis where the Empire only gives a shit about a slaver operation because there was one non-beastman on their books

sotha sil deserved way more characterisation
most of it comes from the eso vomit
vivec is fucking gay and i don't care for his pajeet reddit lore

That's pretty reasonable. The Empire is against slavery "only" because of Elves enslaving Men in the past.
Who gives a shit about some barely sentient beast, that's called a pet not a slave.

That's weird, the slave market down the street from the foreign quarter has a whole pen full of non-beasts. (righteously killed all guards and freed them of course)

Love that Almalexia ends up being just a dumb roastie that betrays her husband for power, then goes crazy when that power starts going away(and a few wrinkles start appearing on her face, guess even Gods fear the wall). Imagine if she was written nowadays, they would definitely make her into some tragic figure instead of a backstabbing whore.

Sotha Sil's characterization is one of the few things ESO does right. The Clockwork City DLC was pretty good.

It is tragic and I need to heal her with the virility of my muatra

I think the in-game observations you can make speak volumes. Slavery is thriving in morrowind. Not counting all the smuggling operations the plantations of the ascadian isles are all driven by a workforce consisting of slaves, you have slave markets on Temple, Hlaalu and Telvanni territories. Even the East Empire charter town of Caldera is based on slavery, as are many other mines. Keep in mind Vvardenfell opened up for colonization 14 years ago or so.

Todd's stand-in is Fargoth

based todd

ESO still characterizes her as well meaning as long as her massive ego is stroked, even implies that Sotha knew she would be the one to kill him

~
tfh

I wish they had ape-like body plans instead of humanoid.

Todd also has a test room in Morrowind with a naked Khajiit woman named Pretty Kitty

He's a closeted furry isn't he?

closeted

lol

Honestly I think its dumb and handled in a very poor and predictable manner.
Tribunal should have actually allowed you to side with Almalexia rather than making her a guaranteed retard
The entire DLC is basically proto-dawnguard in the fakeness of its factions

ESO

iirc cutting the feet and face off so that he could be reincarnate with a different face and walk a different path or something like that

It's in character for the merciful mother, her anticipation is Boethiah who is about action and betrayal it's not in her nature to play second fiddle to her husband (Alma even calls her guards hands to symbolize the action element). This is in contrast with Sotha Sil who is all thought and no action. The thematic motifs of tribunal have always struck me as really good.

They put a small group of burnt out devs on it and gave them 3 months to make it
I think they did a decent job considering

Furries didn't exist by 2002. The concept of "beast races" was not sexual in any way. Barbed dicks were just a funny joke

The official reason why there were no khajiits to marry in Skyrim is Todd didn't want to share

slavery supposedly "thriving"

can't buy slaves

almost can't find slaves outside of plantations

slaves are for the most part just beastkin

abolitionists are allowed to operate in Vvardenfell

I'm not buying it.

>can't buy slaves

>almost can't find slaves outside of plantations

Well yeah
Slaves are agricultural labor in Morrowind, similar to the southern US
It's not like Roman slavery.

was not sexual in any way

Right, that's why Ahnassi exists and is heavily implied you plowed her

Simply not true. You can buy slaves. You find them in mines. Even in Suran (a non Telvanni town) you find an Altmer slave, and the Telvanni have several men and mer for sale.

Igma balls

her husband was a buttslut fucking his general and best friend Voryn
you'd kill him, too

There are a few non-agriculture-bound slaves in Morrowind, like the whorehouse at Suran has a female khajiit slave on the counter, and the generic dialogie implies that in lore Khajiit slaves are primarily used for housework instead of plantation stuff

>abolitionists are allowed to operate in Vvardenfell

No, there's a quest where you help a disguised Argonian to kill an Abolitionists, and in Ald Velothi they are searching for the twin lamps if I remember correctly. There is some clear resistance against abolitionists. That's why the twin lamps is a secret organization

I've never fully beaten morrowind

It's crazy that there's apparently three whole vampire factions, each with their own questline, out there that you can just never run into even if you explore a good deal. There's also an entire fast travel system you might never even realize exists, I've never managed to collect all the propylons.

Could actually be true, there are Argonians you can marry so it's not that they had an issue with marrying one of the beast races

I'm glad that there are quests in Narsis where the Imperial Consulate asks you to shut up some abolitionist because he's annoying the Great Houses

When are we getting playable monkey?

You can already play as them in Morrowind with Tamriel Data and the Class/Race unlock mod

Bethesda would never.
Fuck this gay earth.

he fell for the lying murdering seducer

Mephala is literally Almalexia

You mean literally Vivec

Why so many khajits?

I now know what my next Nerevarine will be

it's a shame Tsaesci animations aren't finished yet

Khajiit subraces

khajiit is many

the one time i tried this mod one of the male riverfolk faces was missing in character creation, which promptly caused my game to freeze and crash the second i tried to rotate its faceless visage. kinda scary

In the traphouse craftin "magika" potions lil nigga

Morrowind

These are genuinely the only video games I play anymore.

Cringe or kino idea: Remake Runescape in Morrowind.

remake it in daggerfall (the better game) instead

Skyrim's probably the better base to work from. You'd just be reimplementing half of its production/gathering skills anyway.

be conlanger

can't imagine a mod about the 10+ conlangs I've made

grammar and phonology are easy

can only think of mods like Sixth House faction ending with heart-broken Voryn kicking you out of Red Mountain and closing Dagoth Ur (the facility), and Daedric shrine and Dwemer ruin travel routes

can only hope someone will make an IPA tool to speak out words so I don't have to check every single one

To round it all up I'm an absolute beginner at 3D design.

Cringe or kino idea: Mountain Blade mod set in House War-era Morrowind (you ride guars). I'm an ideas guy so hit me up if you want some other cool ideas, I've gor plenty

Okay you unwashed n'wahs, I'm gonna play Tamriel Rebuilt, give me some tips.

People meme this, but if that was really the case, beast races wouldn't look so ugly and you would have more optional marriages with them, Todd honestly strikes me as a huge normalfag and out of touch dude, at least these days.

make incorrect statement

corrected by morrowchads within seconds

How is this possible?

Drain stamina, punch once, rape them in their sleep.

Todd's favorite video games are NCAA football.
He's the most normalfag normalfag to ever normalfag.

rp as a khajiit sex slave

that's a lot more fun in skyrim

Quite a few of them were servants in the south though.

Alright, fine. I reinstall morrowind again.

I just got done with a Khajiit necromancer vampire empire in Elder Kings 2 anyways.

And after coming to the realization that there probably wont ever be another RPG + light immersive sim style of game quite like TES in the modern game industry.

How viable is a vampire run in the TR expansions?

A vampire run is never viable.

I told u guys this would happen, and it's happening. Prepare for the morrowind rennaissance. Within a month some CC will make a "is Morrowind BETTER than oblivion re:masterpiece?!" and the game will reach new heights.

file.png - 799x1012, 582.96K

Very viable, there are two new vampire clans in TR with quests and an item that negates not being able to talk to people that you get as a reward for one of them. If you want to be another clan the item can also just be grabbed if you know where it is.

Don't throw spells that you can't tank yourself, cast resistance on you, or just use absorb health because it doesn't work when reflected

1s resist whatever you're using 100 on self BEFORE damage effects; or dispel 100 AFTER damage effects, can be cost effective depending on what you're doing but mostly isn't.
Alternatively just summon. A handful of dremoras will overwhelm every individual enemy. Just don't send them against mobs.

It's like New vegas

3d Fallout has been a disaster for RPGs since 2008.

just use absorb health because it doesn't work when reflected

It does work when reflected, you're just absorbing your own health so nothing changes.

Thanks, time to recreate my vampire cat.

There's also an entire fast travel system you might never even realize exists

Explain surely in my 20 years playing this I would know about it. Also TR update kino

an item that negates not being able to talk to people that you get as a reward for one of them

really? which clan?

reach new heights

You vastly overestimate the amount of stupidity and lack of patience that the modern audience has.

Noice, now I know what to play as next time I reinstall.

The Orlukh clan, the item is not a quest reward but the quest line leads you to it.

i would agree if TR and openmw weren't a thing. The graphics hold up well, the gameplay is surprisingly tight, there's plenty to explore and the answer to your every question is a google search away. it's a timeless game for many reasons and it's not as autistic as everyone makes it out to be. I keep seeing posts of what happened to me last week. Try oblivion remaster, get bored, give morrowind one last try and it actualy sticks.

implies

It outright states it.

i highly doubt the next game will include playable monkeys, considering it takes place in hammerfell

Anyone know how to find out which mod added an item to the game? I found these Boots of the Gully Rat for sale in Tel Branora, which I can't find any mention of online anywhere. Not sure where they came from.

I did the desert niggas clan and it was pretty fun, better than any vanilla clan.
Oh shit didn't know about that item.

i'm guessing you can open the editor with your mods loaded and check the merchant list, i don't mod myself though so i can't tell you.

Open the console with the object selected and type "ori"

Are you talking about the shroud? It does that?

Playing as a Hill Giant will make it impossible to move inside most interiors, and you will be too far off the ground to pick items up below knee height. Hill Giants are NOT recommended for normal gameplay.

Giantbros manlets are laughing at us...

They're from one of the slaver mods O think. The one with the Telvanni stuff.

Shitty RPG you do not even get to play a character, you rarely ever talk to people, you play a stunted retard that grunts one word and everyone is just nice enough to dump exposition on you, so boring ruins any story or role playing. The gameplay does not save it.

Tell me you're number 5 without telling me you're number 5

file.png - 1076x353, 151.11K

Does the tamarial mod or whattever the fuck it is in openmw actually care about level? Like if I rape MW, Tribunal and Bloodmoon, would the mod content be too easy
Assuming I just kept my high skills and start ith bitch level gear or should I delevel everything via console

what does dunmer culture canonically think about homosexuality? i know vivec is a fag and a hermaphrodite, and with him being one of the big 3 i doubt the dunmer would be too concerned about it
you just know the ashlanders are homophobic as fuck though

when windows 7 fags move on

Would also like to know thus
What lvl range is it balanced for

Who's here playing Morrowind and listening to Eurovision in background?

I don't think any culture really cares about it. Maybe the Altmer since it might get in the way of the eugenics program the noble families are running?

Yeah, I forgot to say that it also removes sun damage. It's not enchanted, the effect applies via a script if you're a vampire. Here's the UESP page for those who want to read more.
en.uesp.net/wiki/Tamriel_Data:Namira's_Shroud

It's difficulty is about the same as base morrowind. Some areas are a bit tougher than others (pic related) but it's not the DLC experience if that's what you're asking.

I can sit in bed and imagine a much better game and it would be more fun than playing this shit.

just imagine you say something different, ignore the fixed responses and railroaded story

Homosexuality was brought by the empire and it will leave with them.

i get the feeling they would only care if you bottomed

This

Dagoth wanted to fuck Nerevar and Vivec was selling himself to guys in the Chimer times, so I don't think even Ashlanders would care

It doesn't exists because you could visit a temple and get all the diseases cured for a small donation.

The same way mage in Baldurs Gate works, spamming flaming ball off screen until everything die

Videogames peaked years ago, the sooner you learn this the better

It's not clearly stated but sodomy is banned. From the 36 lessons: "The practice of piercing the Second Aperture is now forbidden." But I can see tribunal faithful re-enacting the pomergranate wedding in some secret ceremonies, would be very in character for them with all the "two faces" stuff the temple has.

You make a good point. Youd figure it would be a point of contention between the temples and local traders but afaik its never mentioned. Youd also think the East Empire company would try to exploit a spell like that for their own profits. Why can mages freely teleport people with heaps of goods in their backpacks, but no other guild can? Its not like they couldnt just pay a couple mages to keep their ports connected. Imagine needing supplies for a new port being built, you could just teleport a few guys with backpacks in. You wouldnt even need to build homes, or a barracks, just teleport guards when theyre needed. Like a magical fireman's pole.

have a (you)

I'm not sure how to read this. It lists a bunch of mesh and texture locations. I'm not seeing anything that looks like an actual mod name or esp, though.

If you have the item selected it'll output the esp to last modify the object at the end of it.

Same with mark/recall.

100 pts drain health for 1 second is fairly inexpensive to cast and will OHK most generic mobs

All Boyant Armigers are gay samurai

all bound weapons are stupid OP
cliffracers (or cliffNIGGERS as i like to call them) get raped and gaped by my bound mace

No matter the setting teleportation is always going to be a mess, it's better to not think too hard about the implications and pretend that for the average group interested in moving goods (or people) it's just not feasible to use it because reasons.

discord wasnt gay yet

Yes.

The practice of piercing the Second Aperture is now forbidden

lmao
so Vivec got his and then banned it

I guess that means that it's normally culturally accepted outside of Tribunal law

To be fair Nerevar was a massive simp for Azura

This is all I have:

It's one of Realashtaars mods. The texture of the boots comes from the Telvanni Dust Adept mod, but it might be from the slavers and wizards mod

I know of Mark and Recall/Intervention, Silt Striders, Boats, and stronghold teleportation.

Thanks, I'll dig into those.

I bet you know about Guild Guides. It's the chambers people often miss.

That's definitely how it works for the Nords.

Slaves from another game having their feet replaced with shitty wood facsimiles suddenly makes more sense to me.

file.png - 342x665, 228.79K

Any particular reason you got so interested in these boots? I remember them, they give a bonus to jump and give you a detect enchantment... enchantment. Mabye even a sneak bonus. Their very stylish as well.

That's some real swat

everyone's saying they are indifferent to it

no in game references to any homosex stuff

The only thing I can think of is how King Helseth has a painter buddy and the dialog with him hints they are "close friends" which implies homosexuality is frowned upon if he is hiding it with a euphuism. He's a fucking influential ruler so if the culture truly was indifferent he could totally show off being a fag.

no in game references to any homosex stuff

??????????
your Vivec, anon? your "Sweet Nerevar"?

What does the name Buoyant Armiger mean? (2005-07-29)

In this context, it means 'g a y samurai'. No kidding. You shoulda seen the placeholder name I had for them in the earliest design docs.

They are neat, but their condition is so low that they break in every single fight. I just wanted to up the durability a bit so I wasn't constantly needing to repair them when I'm already sacrificing a bunch of armor value for wearing them. I was having trouble finding them in the construction set, so I was hoping I could try narrowing down the source.

They are pretty dapper

>no in game references to any homosex stuff

This is what Hlaalu fags tell themselves to feel better after the fact.

Use a custom client so I have less 'features'. Stay in one friend server. Let everyone else deal with the brainrot while I have 99% of the client on silent. I basically have to be in the one voice channel or actively looking at the window to be notified. It's retardation in general is outweighed by its usefulness as a TeamSpeak for retards when you remove all of the bloat.

How fat do you think Crassius's cock is

Stop liking things, go eat shit like the rest of us.

Wasn't he feminine presenting back when he was a prostitute? That just screams Iranian style views on sex if true. Like as long as it's optically straight, you are good. Could two high test dunmer males hold hands in public? I really doubt it. Sounds like apex n'wah behavior.

I think Helseth being a closeted homo is very indictive of Hlaalu culture.

file.png - 1280x731, 157.08K

Are there any mods that rebalance useless spell effects? Specifically, why is swift swim more costly than fortify speed? The more narrow effect is arbitrarily twice as expensive.

no, he wasn't
he refers to himself a netchman's son

Vivec was a hermaphrodite, he turned himself into a man eventually, but then when all of his evil gets killed he turns into a 100% female

Considering he wrote "The Dance Of The Three-Legged Guar" I assume that he probably isn't very remarkable and that's why his work is focused on bestiality.

Wasn't he feminine presenting back when he was a prostitute?

Not really, this is Vivec describing himself from "What my beloved taught me."

A gutter-get, a daggerlad, a netchiman’s son. I have my own gang. Get away from me or they’ll stare.

when another good game comes out

I haven't updated OpenMW since it was released. I guess I also need a fresh install of TR and its Data. Is it enough to delete both from my hdd or will there be some vestigial stuff left after I re-download everything?

don't worry, tamriel data will eventually be full of argonian variants for the lizard lovers as well, they're already working on one even

No Shadow Amulet
No Creeper/Mudcrab merchant
No Illusion
No minmaxing
Bittercup +luck -endurance

What's the best leveling mod?
The one that raises respective attributes with enough skill leveling, I like the idea a lot

No Amulet of Admonition
No stealing glass items from Ghostgate
Surrender the ring and don't continue the quest to reclaim it
No Ondusi's Locksplitter
No using Telekinesis to steal from merchants
Final destination

What's the best leveling mod?

Really depends on how many bells and whistles you want with it.
I'm using MULE right now and it's alright.

Even still is prostitution, especially gay, not seen as a degenerate thing on the outskirts of their society? The NPCs in game basically never talk about it. You'll hear lots about necromancy, slavery, drug use, but never anything about prostitution or homosexuality. The closest I can think of are rare mentions of khajiit dancers.

Using alchemy in a non-degen way is fine. I use it just to craft restore fatigues and magickas. Also boots of blinding speed are purely convenience and no amount of contrarian shitposting will change my mind.

Sex is barely mentioned. There's the pillow book, the club in Suran and some cleverly positioned forty endurance potions, and a persuasion comment that could be sex related, but it wasn't really a thing you did back in 2002. Hot Coffee was a huge controversy. I don't know how they got away with some of the stuff in FO2

??????????
your House of Earthly Delights, anon?

Desele and the girl with the Amulet of Shadows show some shame at least

Do you use OpenMW or regular?

MWSE for me, but I'm 99% sure I saw at least one leveling mod for openmw

You fucked up by not making a Battlemage instead

You also have to consider that Vivec's prostitution happened thousands of years ago. The culture has shifted under the Tribunal's rules meant to glorify themselves.
As far as prostitution in the rest of Tamriel goes, Cyrodiil has cults to Dibella that exist solely to teach how to be good at sex and a Prostitutes Guild.

Or Atronach really that good, or is it annoying and gay?

Aw come on. He did nothing wrong! You already have a free bed in the office basement

There’s a TR temple quest out east somewhere that has you remove a dark elf merchant from inside the temple walls

There is no perfect solution, but I like the NCGDMW approach

Both. It depends on your playstyle. I like that it forces me to stock up on supplies as I don't like abusing alchemy or my summons. Traps suddenly become magicka reservoirs

summon skeletons

Does the Narsis Fighter's Guild really just end randomly and tell you to go to Vvardenfel?
Really anti-climactic.

Is Breton or High Elf better for magicmaxxing in the long run?

It's annoyingly OP for no good reason.
Even if you decide to limit yourself to only use potions to restore your magicka it's hard to justify one of the other two magicka boosting signs.

Boots of Blinding Speed are fine if you don't cheese it with a 1 second 100% Resist Magicka

Breton is overall better as it provides a smoother progression, but you can get to highest highs with Altmer.
All assuming no alchemy abuse, in that case both races SUCK but not really, Breton is still good for the free magic resist

Definitely high elf for increased int scaling

My wizard. I'm having a good time, I haven't played a mage who only relies on magic with no weapons in this game since the 2000s.

find a shrine to Meridia

she asks me to kill a sload necromancer

find the sload

he's not a necromancer (he just likes making crack cocaine)

?????

What rank are you?

Meridia is racist

Dios Mio, there are Sloads in the Yucatán peninsula??

crackheads basically zombies

What makes Atronach so busted, how do you live without potions?

Shrines

I need a gestalt, I'm retarded

What makes Atronach so busted

50% absorb for free, on top of a 2x multiplier on magicka.
You can absorb altar spells, which would be "fine" if it wasn't that they become free once you join the Temple and/or Cult. So you're effectively free to Mark>Intervention>Magicka refill (free)>Recall as soon as you drop low enough.

Almsivi Restoration restores your magicka. So you can cast mark wherever you are, then almsivi intervention to teleport to a temple, visit the shrine for the restoration, then recall back. No potions necessary.

Do you nerds have a recommended major/minor skill selection?

Try using items enchanted with destruction spells to save mana.

In addition to the shrines that others have mentioned, you can summon an ancestor ghost for 20 seconds, punch it a few times, and get more magicka out of the spells it casts at you than you spent in summoning it.

Skyrim and Oblivion only get coomer bait and butthurt threads

Morrowind gets daily threads discussing game, mods and lore

It's extremely good, but only in Morrowind because there's no magicka regen anyway. It's annoying as shit in Oblivion.

major

What you want to use at the start of the game

minor

What you want to use at the start of the game but isn't as important as major

misc

What you want to raise to silly levels with a trainer once you're rich but without being forced to level up

tl;dr: it doesn't matter

Yeah, daily 500+ post threads. We're in a good cycle

What's worth casting normally?

Enchanting casting will always be superior to any other kind of casting, as it's instantaneous

Champion

Then what's the point of all those skills :(

What you don't have the money or skill to craft yet.
As the other anon said enchanted items are always superior, but it's not like you start the game with all you want.

In a lot of ways, morrowind is a sandbox where you'll have to limit yourself and set your own goals to fully enjoy it

Might as well just chug a bunch of broken alchemy potions or use tgm

Roleplay. It feels good to be a master of the arcane instead of delegating your casting some items. You could break the game but where's the money in that, roleplaying is more fun.

Haven't played since Abecean Shores
Currently waiting for the end of this month's Modathon before I update my load order

Morrowind has a lot of effectively redundant skills, but at least it's easier to recharge your magicka than it is to recharge your magic items.

Don't fall for the memes. Enchanting is really not that much better. You need to use exploits or spend a shit ton of gold to achieve what just comes naturally to a caster with a magicka sign.

waits 5 hours

item now recharged

wow that was hard

Man why are axes so shafted in this game, there is only like 1 good artifact axe right?

Okay but why is Dagoth just some naked guy in the volcano? Was he sleeping beforehand? Then he just gets up and starts yelling poetry and runs around spitting ash until the god heart charges up? What woke him up

if it wasn't that they become free

35 gold is free.

meanwhile bluntCHADS get sunder, the best fucking weapon in the entire game

pure mage runs out of blue so he can't cast his spells

That is why you also specialize in a weapon skill dummy.

243.jpg - 820x530, 114.71K

Bro your Nerevar's Axe?

file.png - 305x257, 31.47K

I didn't say it was hard, just that magicka is even easier. The system is very flawed but it's not that terrible that you can't absolutely use suboptimal skills.

I meant in the vanilla game, not tamriel rebuilt

Swordbros keep winning, get reckt axefags

I don't want to carry around a jewelry.
And aside from theorycrafting by the time you get all the enchanted rings you want you'll have finished the game thrice over, while for all the fussing about mana and cast failure a mage has access to 90% of his arsenal by level 5.

Okay but why is Dagoth just some naked guy in the volcano?

He was sleeping beforehand and had nothing else to wear. Not that he would if he had the option because "I am a god, why would I need armor or anything beyond a loincloth? What a grand and intoxicating innocence" or some shit.

Then he just gets up and starts yelling poetry and runs around spitting ash until the god heart charges up?

basically yes

What woke him up

I am pretty sure he just woke up on his own then the rest of the tribunal had an oh shit moment and just locked him in.

why would you play vanilla

pure mage

Pretty certain alteration, mysticism, and especially destruction and restoration are magic. Why are you acting like illusion and conjuration are your only options? Alchemy is very much a mage's skill as well, and you'll need it for magicka potions.

Play Tribunal and you'll learn. The answer is right there, why are you asking Anon Babble for it?

Started playing today, any tips? I picked barbarian thinking it was the easier choice for a new comer but I realized it might be a bit boring later on, should I restart with something else?

Kill yourself.

He woke up, chased the Tribunal out of Red Mountain, and then farted out an ash storm

In the unpatched version of the game, another way is to attack Ondres with Hand-to-hand. His skill at it is very low, and he is easily beaten. Once he goes down, you can take the key from him. In the patched game, trying to steal from an unconscious character no longer works.

is this referring to an official patch? I think stealing when someone is knocked out makes sense. there's an option for this in openmw right?

You sound upset
Are you playing on the original xbox?

bound axe 2h dominance

How do I consistently get more Magicka?
I picked imperial and steed, so my magic is 1:1 intelligence, I can barely cast summon flame atronach.
I have alchemy, enchant and restoration as skills I can use.

always

Multi-effect spells scale up in such a way that you straight up can't replicate them with enchants, so spells do have a niche if a small one.
Making a giga anti reflect nuke only realy works with spells, you'll be out of space before you even get to the damage effect.

In Morrowind the class matters very little beyond game start.
You'll be fine, just get rich and pay someone to train the skills you want to use up to a decent level.

Go get the Mantle of Woe from Solstheim or just fortify int, for a caster a magicka multiplying birthsign is really needed

Don't put athletics or acrobatics into your major skills as those will level up constantly anyway and are a waste of slot. Also don't listen to the people who say "don't put your preferred weapon class in the major skills". That is only a useful tip for min maxing which if you are just coming in and enjoying the game on your own you will probably not see much benefit from.
Also even magic can get really boring until way later on.

Athletics and acrobatics are based.

In vanilla you can only raise your magicka by getting more INT or picking the right race and birthsign
In Bloodmoon there's an op and fairly accessible robe
In TR there are a few magic items but they're end of questline shit or hidden at the end of pretty large lategame dungeons.

make some fortify int potions

The Tribunal were in Red Mountain before Dagoth woke up?

Make INT potions. Just don't abuse it too much with the stacking.

level your intelligence skills both in and out of your class for juicy +5s. make lower duration summon spells, 60 is too long for most encounters weather your summon lives or not.
you're not gonna be able to cast as much without a caster birthsign so consider pivoting to a hybrid.

How the fuck are you gonna be a 'local god'. What the fuck is that, Tribunal?

The Tribunal had been making pilgrimages to Red Mountain since their """"ascension""" in order to fill up their god power reserves at the heart of lorkhan

by the time you get all the enchanted rings you want you'll have finished the game thrice over

This isnt remotely true, you can get a nice enchanted ring with bound weapon 18 seconds with a rat soul and steamroll all the early/mid game

ALL the enchanted items

babby's first fiend enchant

Bro

Code patch

honestly would you really want her after this?

4372598g5.png - 642x495, 349.23K

yes

I don't see the problem

Yeah?

tranny sex with vivec

How do we feel about Dagoth's testicles in this image

Thanks fellas

Okay but why is Dagoth just some naked guy in the volcano?

He's literally insane, and also quite dead. One popular interpretation is that Daogh Ur has no "real" physical form and is lucid dreaming himself onto the waking world.

Dunmeri culture is partially based on ascension through mortal hardship (i.e. Lorkhan's test.) From a certain point of view the Tribunal might have embodied just that

Best birthsign in the game, you dumbfuck.

I like taking acrobatics and athletics as majors because i play argonian

Ug me Nord and Shor say Shor so strong Dwarf King mash Shor with whole mountain

I played vanilla a while ago. I had a lot of progression, but hadn't finished the main questline and my save got lost.

Thinking of doing a somewhat modded playthrough with OpenMW and some mod list. What do you recommend? Nothing too demanding as I will be using a Macbook Air. Mostly interested in gameplay balance mods for a mage build.

I'm smarter than Nerevar
I wouldn't be fucking other men without her permission

Todd's stand-in is Fargoth

*Gaenor

be me

Nord

my god-king is resurrected as a zombie and leads a charge to jump the Chimer and Dwemer who are in the middle of their own war

he loses

our armies are routed

how did that happen?

could the other races have strong warriors, too?

no!

they must have been faking their war to trap us!

and the Chimer had to have used magic to drop a mountain on our god-king!

and Kyne had to have forsaken us and made our voice magic stop working!

the Nordic cope is ridiculous

You'll eventually acquire a couple of good constant effect fortify magicka items you can wear. Unfortunately, this doesn't raise your max magicka, so you have to take them off every time you sleep and put them back on when you wake up. I believe the code patch offers a fix for this, but OpenMW unfortunately doesn't. There are also two artifacts with absorb magicka enchantments.

Why is everyone in ES gay?

tamriel-rebuilt.org/recommended-mods
Tamriel Rebuilt's website has a dedicated page for mod recommendations (both vanilla and OpenMW friendly.) It's a good place to start

could you to buy skyrim?

what about an other copy?

well, two is fine, but what about three more?

you could buy up all the Creation Club content!

Do you really think I'm that stupid? No one buys that much CC; that's ludicrous!

lvdokino

90% of it is the Chimer

you would be too if you heard and lived with chimer/dunmer women

If I was smarter and payed better attention during Skyrim, I would write up exactly how stupid and pea-brained their lore and knowledge of the universe is. I mean really they've got all of reality before them and all they can think about is having a big enough club to kill the big dragon

The Professor Brothers recounting The Battle of Red Mountain

and after all that, Asura was so disgusted, she took her mighty celestial hand and smacked the shine right offa those smug fucking elves

how am I supposed to get these dwemer artifacts for the theives guild legit without killing the guy for the key? I guess I just picklock the chest and drop the stolen items before clearing my bounty? i don't get it. All the wiki says is different ways to kill the guy.

guards won't pursue you if you don't have a large bounty, just don't talk to them, get your bounty cleared at the guild or at the end of the questline

READ

You don't need to get those specific artifacts either, any of the same type will do.

does anyone actually seriously know of any good balance overhaul mods? like setting a level cap, potion stacking cap, etc? i wantthis game to be a challenge again but its so ridiculously broken obviously that there is just none without intentionally gimping yourself. anyone know of any or is the game too fundamentally broken for even mods to fix?

Just practice restraint and don't minmax?

Dunmer really do be killing a bug and putting its shell on their shoulder, saying 'its a piece of armor'

Self restraint is probably the most effective way

just play normally

And thats cool as hell, morrowind doesnt look like the place where metals are common

How is it hard to just play normally and not use exploits? Fucking zoomers.

Can't call out the commander of Ald Iuval for working with the Syndicate

shame

Dunmer kids be like ‘mom I need new clothes’ and they say ‘go into a cave and kill a bug’

i have 41 security and it says this bullshit is too complex

I remember getting absolutely fucking lost the very first time I played MW on Xbox. And the second time, and the third, and so on. I created so many characters, partly because I'd get lost and partly because I'd want to try a different race and skill/sign choice.

I eventually settled on a Dunmer after around a dozen restarts (and after experiencing so many different parts of the world) and managed to make my way through the game. I even started making a little journal of my own to track quests, NPC locations, useful/powerful items I found, and locations that I saw while I was running for my life away from swarms of Cliff Racers. There was so much shit to see and do in the game and I know I only experienced a fraction of it my first time through the game. It wasn't until I roped some friends into playing it as well and we started sharing information that we all saw just how jam-packed the game was.

It's truly one of my favorite games and it's incredibly sad to see what happened to later entries into the series.

this is why everybody roleplays

SPIT IT OUT OR HIT THE ROAD

If you're good with alteration you can just get a cheap spell that lets you open anything 100% of the time.
Don't be sad the rest of the series sucks, be happy that Morrowind still gets good mods while Skyrim just gets porn.

Get a better lockpick.

buy an actual good lockpick in the balmora hlaalu quarters

alright, last try today. this will be my 4th trip back to that shithole hla oad today

And remember to wait until your fatigue is almost topped, else your rolls will fail

Found this old house, I'm thinking of making it my player home. Any idea why it was abandoned by its previous owner?

It's implied to be ancient Velothi architecture. You can find it close to Kogoruhn and the Dagon Shrine ruins.

why do argonians have different types?

Probably because he's based.

Zoomers have zero social lives and Discord is a substitute for that.
It's a massive waste of fucking time though.

Like, from a meta standpoint? Because it's explicitly stated in the Argonian Account book series and has been implied since the Pocket Guide to the Empire, where it was briefly said that Argonians have different "strains"

Lorewise? Never explained explicitly, but the most popular theory is that the Hist either shaped the Argonians' ancestor lizards into a bunch of different humanoid subspecies, or uplifted a bunch of different reptiles rather than just one.

For me it's the bitch

Would be a real shame if someone stole everything on her desk.

One of it's main exports is ebony

I have friends IRL that I use Discord to communicate with when we play monster hunter

She's probably a spoiled brat from a rich family, she won't care

I join servers for some indie games I follow and shit. Don't really post there though, I just read dev announcements.

how do you steal shit she just sees behind her fucking back

Is glass a metal? It can be repaired with repair hammers.

yeah yeah its dwarf adamantium. who knew?

Yeah I suppose that makes sense, but the style isnt really like the other velothi structures in the game. These house ruins are more like adobe style, with a really low roof aswell. Someone seems to visit here regularly to replace and light these torches, I wonder who...

EuS45ea.jpg - 2880x1800, 287.24K

I think so? I never looked into it really, I just know it's not regular glass which some people unironically seem confused about.

I love that you can basically live anywhere in morrowind because dropped items never despawn

bunch of different reptiles

crocodile argonians would go hard

who the hell do i sell illegal goods to in bal foyen

not even the skooma den wants to buy my skooma

bro got that malacath skoom :skull:

The Agaceph Argonians from the argonian account in-game books are usually interpreted as gharials, if you're into those

I'm thinking of using the command spell to bring some fast travel NPC to my house so i can always just use recall and then the NPC to travel where i want

Get a sleeping bad mod if there is one.

get murdered

reincarnate

"Hey man, that wasn't very nice"

"Ah shit, my bad. We good?"

"Yeah, we good. Get outta here 'fore I make shoes out of your soul."

That's what I did in Rethan Manor with the Mage's Guild guide.
It was great until I got expelled for stealing and it turns out that makes the guild guides refuse you service - even though they would happily give you service if you were never a member to begin with
