Here is that Walking Simulator I was telling you about
Here is that Walking Simulator I was telling you about
artism overrated "game"
death stranding boss fights
This footage is new, can you post source pls?
Shots not doing any damage
Boss not doing any damage to player
Everything is slow and sluggish
Do people enjoy this
Kojima ruining his magnum opus just to appeal to normies who got filtered in ds1
And they say druckmann is a hack.
Walking Simulator
That misconception was BTFO back in the first game already. I mean it IS a walking simulator. But not in the sense it's used on neo-Anon Babble. It's LITERALLY a walking simulator, with the emphasis on the second word. And many other things.
Despite hours upon hours of Kojima's bullshit pseudo movie cutscenes and pretentious story, there's even more raw unadulterated gameplay.
You don't get it.
Kojima muttified DS2 since they didn't like the first one
good point, but I think it's very funny to use the word defining """games""" like dear esther and whatnot to a game that's actually about walking
while it looks cool, i am reminded that the goo-attacks sequences in DS1 were terrible and the game would've been better without them
all these words to say "it's a walking simulator"
I don't even understand whatever you're trying to say
it looks cool but probably feels like a chore to play, I'm getting exhausted just watching the health bar slowly tick away.
dat damage
Do you just shoot the thing for 1 hour?
Yes, you slowly chip away the health and struggle in tar until you manage to kill the thing or you try to run away. If it catches you it will eat you and the whole area turns into a crater.
These fights are meant to be a punishment for getting caught by BTs. Until you get better weapons it's best to avoid them.
Post this in gacha threads
Giant enemy braine
The emphasis is important, which is obvious when English is your first language
So it's actually a really sluggish tps?
I wish it was more of a walking simulator
The balance mechanics in one were too simple, just "hold l2/r2 to not fall over".
Where's my analog balance control with the triggers? Where's my ability to manually place and layout my backpack?
I was hoping for Mudrunner with legs.
Where's my ability to manually place and layout my backpack?
It's there? Just don't hit the auto-sort. The auto is pretty good for most things though. But I still used manual enough for it to be a thing. Like auto would sometimes stack big containers on the back, when I actually wanted to hold them in my hands to balance things out.
Is like how some games teaches you how to punch and fight, DS teaches you how to walk
The boss fights were easily the lowest point in the game. They weren't even particularly challenging, especially given the ridiculous amount of health you had.
Doesn't work with written messages, buddy.
that boss fight with the giant slow walking hand dude was weird, its like they gave up on balancing and just let you respawn with no punishment
making deliveries is the only good part of death stranding. the boss fights and cutscenes are dogshit awful and kojima should be lynched for taking time away from the real gameplay
Cliff fights were kino, so was the Higgs fight
I'll admit it. The ghosts scare the shit out of me
This is just regular australia. (Except for the gun, they're allergic to basic human rights there.)
They're a real "Oh shit" enemy when you're first introduced to them, especially since they're the first real threat you face in the the game but once you understand how they work, they're kind of trivial to deal with them. They only become even more trivial once you get blood grenades
zoomies unironically think this looks good
Grim. Creature has neat design but that's it, this looks like 2 geriatrics fighting.
Zoomers are too ADHD for atmospheric fights like this
That's only manual in that you can decide what stuff goes in and out. You can't do thinks like change the orientation of objects in the rucksack
>Shots not doing any damage
yeah because he is shooting with normal ammo that barely does anything to these creatures
Shots not doing any damage
that player is not embracing LA CREATIVIDAD!
he needs to be shart-pissing-cooming all over the boss because Die Orangeman BAD for destroying the entire fictional U.S.!
there's this one section with the clunkiest, most generic combat conceived so it's no longer a walking
Truly La Creatividad strikes again. He invented the first camera, he invented the first strand type game, and now he's inventing terrible combat.
takes too long to get to fun parts its just a tedious balancing game with stealth sections, I like the building the world for other players tho. I dream of a day everyone could just zipline through the whole game and not deal with kojimas bullshit
walking simulator
That misconception was BTFO back in the first game already. I mean it IS a walking simulator.
Imagine immediately conceding that everyone is right about this boring garbage being a walking sim.
It's not that anon is retarded
The game simulates being a porter, not walking.
game comes out
Anon Babble shits on it
everyone forgets about it after a week
somehow years later the game has dickriders and I see it in 3x3s
I’m pretty sure it’s from the recent previews that tons of places had.
Welcome to a Hideo Kojima game.
Anon Babble shits on it
things that didn't happen: the post
I thought we fixed this shit in DS1, why are BTs and timefall back?
It's really a hiking simulator and I thought that was pretty cool if you like that kind of stuff.
what do you mean everyone doesn't take my opinions as gospel
standing and shooting with shitty dodge mechanics
exciting gameplay
I'm starting to realize kojima just hates video games
because it's part of the Death Stranding DNA? oh yeah let's remove all that and make a generic as fuck 3rd person shooter. This is exactly what Kojima does not want. He rather wants you to hate the game
videogameschronicle.com
Looks sick, I'm going to bought it
Anon Babble shits on it
thats every single game. a big chunk of Anon Babble are people that don't even play video games and only want to bitch and moan
The worst part of Death Stranding was the combat. The fact that 2 is way more combat-oriented makes me not want to play.
He really wasted an interesting world setting and top tier UI design on his fanfic tier jrpg story moive game.
skill issue
Yawn
underrated poast
I can’t believe I’m agreeing with a tranime poster but here we are. Even if they make the combat good and fun it still won’t fit the atmosphere the first game cultivated.
There was nothing wrong with the combat in Death Stranding, literally not a single bad thing about it. Except that people didn't stash their cargo and then got mad that Sam is not ready for combat. DS2 lets you put your backpack on the ground so that issue is fixed.
That literally happens all the time. Fallout 4 was crucified here and now every once in a while you get threads saying fallout 4 was actually good.
I can’t believe I’m agreeing with a tranime poster but here we are
actual child
>game comes out
>Anon Babble shits on it
true for every game ever
kojima fans in 2025
it's not a walking *simulator*, it's a *walking* simulator
Is this really your argument? I can't believe they're greenlighting a second strand type game when nobody asked for the first one.
Disliking the combat in this game is a sign that you just do not like any games that involve action related to gun play. DS combat plays like MGSV, a game the entire world and Anon Babble praise for having god tier levels of combat in a game that sucked ass with everything else. DS doesn't live up to the standard because the emphasis wasn't on fighting but not getting caught or just outright fleeing instead. If you think extra combat utilities and enhancements are going to dampen your experience with encounters in DS2 then you are a pleb of the highest order and should have all rights to discuss any game involving guns taken away from you permanently
MGSV combat was novel entirely and solely because of the options the player had. You never actually needed to do anything but shoot people in the head with a lethal weapon while running around. This is a game with FAR fewer options.
I feel like mgsv worked because each mission was setup like an arcade game, with rankings, goals and whatnot, meaning you actually had to study the environment and come up with strategies
if this game doesn't do that and treats encounters like a roadblock you'll just end up avoiding them altogether, and he already said he was just trying to appease the playerbase by adding mgs elements, so I doubt the systems will be very interconnected
MGSV is fucking dogshit though
Who watches this and says, " I want to play this, OMG " ?
if you want to browse Anon Babble and indeed Anon Babble you need to understand that even perceived consensus is usually just 3-4 mentally ill people shitposting, I dont even like death stranding but thinking Anon Babble had a negative opinion of this game could is a sign that you dont understand this fundamental fact
btw, this is happening right now with clair obscur, game is 99% positive opinions but every thread has about 3-4 brown people shitposting it because it doesnt run on their computer
Ds1 sucks ass. Just put my fries in the bag bro
my pee can kill them
betrayed his commitment to the walking sim genre
Ok, bravo
Imagine being retarded enough to take contrarian shitposting seriously
