Wild Ass fails in it's art direction, which needed to be better when the gameplay wasn't anything special. Both enviroments and most characters are mediocre and drab. Only one character is blatantly sexy (the fox), and overall it feels more aimed at closeted bara homos than anyone else.

What? This is one of the better gameplay mechanics because sprinting makes people smaller targets. It also combines nicely with some of the characters being able to jump higher when sprinting.

Critter Cove isn't a huge success but it got enough support from furfags and disgruntled Animal Crossing fans to keep it profitable for the dev to keep working on the game until the full release. Just give the players what they want.
