Hot take that apparently none of you agree with, but Rogue Trader was aggressively mediocre, managing to be completely inoffensively average at best. It was far too short, the story was middling, and it hampered itself like all Owlcat games by tying the ability to actually progress through the story and explore the world map to a retarded mechanic that serves no purpose other than to artificially pad out the runtime by making moving from location to location require generic random combat encounters or a minigame. If you cut out the warp route bullshit, the actual game amounts to like, maybe 15 actual maps, only a small number of which are explorable in any real sense. And all the things that should have had more effort put into them in order to be meaningful gameplay systems like space combat, just ended up being a one-note time waste that contributes nothing to the overall.

They removed the momentum system so that's a good sign they've realized that garbage was one of the biggest culprits in making the combat in RT so trivial. More good news is that the morality path will be a straight Puritan-Radical axis, so no more half finished, shoddy Heretical path, either, which should improve the depth of the choice and consequences in the game.

It will 100% have more companions. If they're putting another Space Marine in this game I expect it to be Black Templar this time since that would make the most sense in an Inquisition based game.

Daemons aren't made from people in 40k like they are in d&d/Pathfinder, they're spontaneously generated from warp energy and the power of the dark gods. Ok so 4 companion slots left to fit, I assume it will be 10 total, 9 showcased and one "hidden" up until close to release like Marazhai was.
Owlcat also did equal split between male and female in their games (in RT on launch 5 girls and 5 guys) so I assume 3 more companions will be women and 2 more will be men. Number of romanceable companions on launch (KM - 4 even, Wotr - 6 even and RT 5- 3 women and 2 men)
Also in RT we had 2 of each base archetype with some (Cass, Pasqal) having unique origin stuff. I assume this will have more base archetypes than RT, but I think they will have 2-3 companions for each niche (i.e. 2 melee heavy guys like Abelard was tank warrior, heinrix flexible psyker warrior that could go agi or full support, Mara agi dodge warrior)

I simply do not think that the whole convoluted series of events just to build the "justification" for the romance was written well from either the perspective of Yrliet or from the player character's perspective. This is my personal preference of course, and I am pretty much set on that there ought not be human/eldar romance in the setting because if you make a supposedly superhuman alien race capable of falling genuinely in love with a human, you inevetably humanize that race way too much.

Yrliet not being physical with the RT is the biggest flaw of the romance. The fact there is no reciprocity is a flaw when the point is a human and an eldar understanding each other deeply.
Also, outside of that, Yrliet still:
Sacrificed her soul stone for us, and was in the end happy she did it, willingly allowed us in her own world which for an eldar, by your own definitions mind you, matters far more than the physical, depending on how things play out throughout the story, sides against us twice against her Farseers, once to the point of direct combat against other eldar (though that one was mostly spite for the Farseer), willingly repudiates the eldar pride and disregard of human life. The fact she doesn't end up being physical is not a "good thing", it's a complete stupid oversight when she's already done FAR FAR more to demonstrate she loves you.
