What’s the difference between an SRPG and a TRPG?

Your personal level of weebdom

I dont really know
I think tactices means more battle map execution and strategy has more of a focus on outside of fighting progression/setup

Straight RPG vs Trans RPG

TRPGs need rules from a tabletop game.
Dawn of heroes copied 4e a lot, but the rules are original so it's an SRPG.

strategy RPG vs tabletop RPG

Strategy is fighting a war. (i.e. Sengoku Rance)
Tactics is fighting a battle. (i.e. Final Fantasy Tactics)

I just Barrier'd this thread, giving it +7 RES, and now it won't get deleted. You may now discuss in peace and without fear.

The same as the difference between a war and a battle

The DS game?

wtf you cant say that

SRPGs (Strategy RPG) is Starcraft where you’re managing resources and units the entire map for an overall victory. Individual units are just fodder and are meant to be disposable

TRPGs (Tactical RPG) is Fire Emblem and are more based on managing individual conflicts and winning out on each one unit eventual victory. Units are very valuable and keeping them alive is essential for victory.

In fire emblem sisters are for?

concubines

units are very valuable and keeping them alive is essential for victory

There are plenty of TRPGs where your units are either not unique or you can let them be killed without reprecussions
