How's your stream/youtube channel coming along, anon?

How's your stream/youtube channel coming along, anon?

Terribly because I couldn't even get 2-3 dudes to chat with me occasionally so every stream is me just trying to remain interesting and talkative incase somebody joins and then eventually giving up and closing the stream.

It's weird how people glorify watching a talentless loser play video games.

Except internet people don't count as actual people, let alone actual friends
i'd say the ratio is like 1000 to 1, meaning it takes 1000 internet people to be as socially impressive as 1 person in real life. So yeah, if you have 12 viewers or whatever, might as well quit because that dream of being a streamer is more dead than your chat

I had a stream with three viewers and I can't bear an empty chat anymore, I've basically quit.
Parasocialism is only dangerous when you're blind to it.

Don't do that, just play, and vocalize only when something happens that evokes emotion in yourself.

get kill

say nice.

get killed

say damn.
I will now watch your vods.

It's going fine. I make decent money from it just by virtue of my gender and slightly weird interests.

I'd watch an anon stream. But then, he won't be an anon anymore.

don't make streaming your dream job, stream is when you want to play videogames and you don't mind if someone comes.
Other thing will be making youtube videos, because that requires effort and time and is frustrating when almost nobody watch the videos.

I agree with the twitter post. I saw a channel described as small time yesterday, but they would have filled a venue in real life. Also, fuck you faggot op, post your own shit, this isn't /twitter/.

Tip for youtube, if you start to pick up momentum and something happens that fucks you in the algorithm. If you make a "taking a break" video and go dormant for a year your channel will be refreshed and viable to grow again.

It ain't.
Also she's not wrong, back during Mogulus days some people would have a constant 10 to 20 people on average. 50 for special cases like a movie and 100 when boards got involved in organized streams.

I don't get the appeal of streamers.

Nobody else posting would know, but the time Anon Babble was good was when it was me and like 12 other people.

pls be in London

Don't do that, just play, and vocalize only when something happens that evokes emotion in yourself.

Hm.

I will now watch your vods.

I don't want VOD watchers. I want to share my gameplay experiences because I know for a fact that the sort of antics I get up to are cool and enjoyable to watch.

she

transphobia

Yikes

I want to start a youtube channel but I don't know what to make it about. I want to do something that at least has a chance to grow, not that I expect to. Any ideas of what people want to see? The only things I like are drawing and games, but I don't know what to make with those.

Any ideas of what people want to see?

What people? If you mean normalniggers, just look up what's posted to the trending tab.

Make cheesecake fanservice animations about female video game characters and then once you have gained an audience make a patrion where you post NSFW pinups and take commissions while moving your youtube content to a video a month.

Makes guides and walkthroughs of your favorite games

The only way I could ever take off his showing my face but I have too much autism to handle that

12 viewers

Reminder that if you have even 10 viewers you're in the top 10% of streamers.

Can I make videos without showing my face and no talking. Just the game going as a play through it

No matter what it's about, your intro has to be quick and to the point before they click off.
I usually start talking and edit it to under a second for audio to begin. Say something outrageous or get the audience to stay longer. Say something they might not agree with, but keep everything else generic.
Make a subtle or even egregious mistake that way they will want to correct you and give you engagement.

t. Partner

Sure, so long as you're either showcasing something obscure or really good at whatever game you're playing.

If you enjoy drawing and games, explain your drawing process
Explain how game companies use art in their games and how from each stage.
Teach people how to make video game art

If you aren't getting paid a significant amount by those viewers you are still in the top 100% of losers.

streamer doesn’t have an annoying personality

I’ve been in lobbies with these streamers, low and high profile. They are worthless sandbaggers, and I always have a bad experience with these entitled window lickers.
It’s always “Why are you not helping me!?” or “You can’t say that word!”
Then they claim they have hundreds of viewers and try an attempt of stochastic terrorism, as if saying “Guys make sure you don’t harass Anon69’s gaming profile! Anon69 and not Anon-underscore-69” in this Kermit monotone voice is going to ever to intimidate me.

Streamers are a parasite to the gaming ecosystem. I hate them, they are worthless losers with the most lukewarm takes.
No one will miss them when they’re gone.

There is no way that is true. 4 years ago I streamed the janky Neopets PS2 game and got 11 viewers despite not showing face and being an utter charisma void.

It cannot be that hard to be in the top 10% in that case.

No, not really.
If you want people to stay, it needs to be something more than generic walk-through with no addition.
Talk about what you love in the game. Talk about what you hate. Mechanics, lore, gameplay loops.
I just played far cry 6 with my friend for 4 hours, cut that down to 50 minutes of us bantering back and forth. Constant talking and stimulation (as we play). Sometimes, it's not even about game. We just talk about shit, like a podcast almost.
You're no MKIceandFire.
Using your voice isn't really that bad. It's your face and physical presence that is worse. And even then, nobody truly gives a fuck except you yourself. You get over it pretty quick.

t. Getting over it

What's your channel?

I have this idea to make [spoilers]tik tok videos[/spoiler] about anime with a gangster voice but I cant come up with a good script

Make a subtle or even egregious mistake that way they will want to correct you and give you engagement.

So the trick is to be an unironic DSP?

reels

Fuck scripts. Just take a topic you know well and babble about it until those mindless zoomers inevitably scroll away after 3 seconds of your boring ass concept

Ay Tone, ya ever see dat... Neawn Genasis Evaingelion?

Are you 14?

im 20

respect others

pussy shit

I've been uploading daily for like three years now. I grew a bit and kinda stalled because I started uploading my super old videos from legacy YouTube and there's not a lot of interest in those old games. But I figured they're important parts of history in some sense since they're sometimes the only real long or of a certain type of gameplay style videowise for certain games. I started streaming a little bit but it's just me other than the one time an artist came in to try make me pay for stuff. It's nice seeing my old friends having fun in old videos and I get to reminisce a bit. It's been a decade now and I'm still having fun uploading stuff. I make stuff for steam community in my spare time when I see something doesn't have guides or art. It's not a lot but I feel like I'm doing my part

The thing I have in mind is to do a somewhat in-depth synopsis of obscure anime but with the funny voice

Believe it or not, if you want to stream and get somewhere. You have to play ball with these companies. You are not Jake Paul. You are not idubbbz. You cannot say nigger and you cannot livestream dead Japanese bodies. Do you understand?

Keep going father.

i hate niggers. what else to say?

sh.png - 640x637, 294.91K

Sure but its not like you're saying it, you can always play around that like all black streamers

lol, I'm so randumb. rawr

you're like 20 years too late.

OK, real shit, most viewed video screencap??

The trick with streaming is to gain an audience by doing something else (usually YouTube videos) and then shill your Twitch stream.
I can't think of any big streamers that became big -just- from streaming.

What video/stream site can I put lewd shit on without worrying about getting super nuked any day?
I want to do art stuff.

Loli?

I have over 400 hundred followers on pixiv and x (formerly known as Twitter), very weird.

Potentially.

I consistently sit between 10-15 viewers with a fairly active chat. Yeah, I'm not making a lot of money out of it but the level of interaction is pretty comfortable and within a range I like. Really, I'm just using it as a way to limit how much I play video games and occasionally it pays for something nice.

BOY I SURE DO LOVE TWITTER SCREENCAP THREADS, BOY IM SO FUCKING HAPPY THAT THIS BECAME ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR ONE DAY OUT OF NOWHERE AND ISNT IMMEDIATELY GROUNDS FOR A BAN ANYMORE BOY I SURE DO LIKE HOW MY OWN FUCKING OLDFAG PEOPLE JUST BENT OVER AND ACCEPTED THIS SHIT, GOD I FUCKING HATE YOU ALL SO FUCKING MUCH.

bumping to say kys

There are plenty of longplay and walkthrough channels on YouTube that do just that, it's not a super popular niche but some of them get hundreds of thousands of views.

YOU FIRST YOU FUCKING PATHERIC CROSSPOSTING NIGGER, YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE AND YOU ARE FUCKING TURBO CANCER.
