Alright anon, tell us about your videogame and explain why we should invest in it

Alright anon, tell us about your videogame and explain why we should invest in it.

there's a virtual cube and you pay real money to pick at the cube and once the cube has been picked at for one gorillion times the cube breaks and whoever breaks it gets a super special prize which I won't tell you what it is

an actual soulslike MMO

Shark Tank gooner gacha.

good luck with the netcode
there's a reason why action combat mmos have fake action and feel floaty
and why fighting games need a wired connection and rollback just to function

I know gamers, I AM a gamer. I know everything that gamers DONT want:
no wokeism, no political bias, no grinding, no microtransactions. no bugs.

MILF dating sim gacha.

X-Files but soulslike

Oh also that super special prize we advertise as life changing will actually be tied to a separate project that will be a different video game which will end up as lies and failure and so there will be no money and actually no prize however thanks for paying to pick at the cube

soulslike visual novel where you have to parry specific lines of dialog

I planted a bomb somewhere in this thread and if you don't give me 15 THOUSAND dollars I'll detonate it. And I want a bj from barbara, NO condom

typing of the souls

You live alone in a small apartment. Where you can drill holes through your walls to spy on your neighbours. Use binoculars to peer into windows across the road, sneak into their homes to set up cameras. Then you jerk off or something.

This made me kek

this works btw I have tried it

I will just go and throw bunch of techbro buzzwords like "AI", "Procedurally generated", "Blockchain", etc. and then throw in some retarded idea like "you can actually make money in this game!"
then I just wait while the are fighting over who gets to give me money

An investor won't invest unless they get double of what is required for profit in revenue

I'm making a 90s casual sandbox sim about the pogs craze in the 90s. It's mainly targeted for millennials who are deeply nostalgic about stuff like pogs, slap bracelets, handheld lcd games, vhs rental stores and dozens of other things. But in general you can just enjoy yourself playing pogs and skateboarding around, it's fun for all ages and generations.

It has controller integration and can be ported to consoles.

It has an option to launch in a "lite" render which can run on a 8 gig ram laptop with integrated graphics so any potato can play it. I even have a demo version that can run in a web browser on a potato laptop.

im making an asset flip early access scam game that was designed using keywords from [CURRENT THING]
so, who's in?

I don't need your money, I represent an indie studio of 10 guys about to release a mega hit. I just wanted to come in and laugh at you as the industry is deproffesionalized and your AAA investments go belly up

*flops*

uhhh... guys? that deal still on the table? I have reconsidered your offer

OH and if you would like to know more or see the full trailer search steam for "pogs".

Very nice, anon. It looks good and is a cozy concept. Did you know much coding before you started?

Thank you, yes I was a junior software developer once but I don't have a degree.

lol

I lived with 4 other guys when the cube was a thing and it shouldn't have taken me another 5 years to realise there is a difference between 'human' and human as described in the beginning of Dune.

I hope it takes off. It's a neat concept and the trailer was tight. When are you shooting to release in EA?

Glad you liked it! Launching soon hopefully this summer but really need to launch the demo first and see how that goes, I'm already registered for steam next fest and really want to go through with it.

Uhh so you're in a kingdom where you meet and fuck people

wanting "angel" investors to have a say over your game

No thanks, they're how we ended up in this fucking mess of an industry

Why isn't there a show like this for games already? Every episode would be a showcase of indie games basically but also with the hardcore business stuff that appeals to gamedevs who are already familiar with the grind. That's what make shark tank so great is you don't just get to see gadgets and ideas but you hear about the business meta.

Its like resident evil but theres a mechanic to escape from the monster letting them pick your clothes

people wear condoms for bjs?

no microtransactions

It's been consistently proven as a winning strategy so they will just see it as needless virtue signaling to even bring it up. Any negative talk towards any proven moneymaking strategy makes investors skin crawl.

Ok but now tell us your ideas

that anon outed himself as a prostitute enjoyer

it's a furry gacha

It's a game about a loan sharking anthropomorphic great white shark. He has to decide which other anthropomorphic sea creatures he should give loans to, measure risk, collect on defaulted loans from deadbeats and how to invest his money to maximize profits.

The win state is achieved when he has enough money, steady flow of business and employees to run things while he takes a much needed vacation for the Summer...to Amity Island.

Which establishes the game was a prequel to the movie Jaws and explains why a Great White Shark was there to begin with.

how horrifying

Three big tiddy short haired crop top navel brunette swords women (they are a combination of Lara Croft, Jill Valentine and women from either Elder Scrolls, Fable, Warcraft and Guild Wars) and two rock guys (that looks like Krartos) in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi MMORPG. Only one girl them is interested in a big black rock

the boat owner is the biggest deadbeat who got away, made shark's dad go bust or something

comments about working on vacation

suck my dick, i'm a shaaark

Games which are published by Mad Mushroom via OTK end up played by Asmongold as part of the marketing (according to comments)

Classic isometric CRPG using old school 80s D&D turn-based combat rules inspired by TSR sandbox adventure set in a village with a nearby tentpole mega-dungeon. Essentially an OSR video game.

and people see that as desirable?

I miss Molyneuxposting, kids these days don't even know

Hag sex.

Hello sharks, I'm developing a comfy farming simulator with light dating sim mechanics. My inspirations are games like harvest moon, and super nintendo role playing games like chrono trigger.

I am looking for 500k dollars for 49% equity of my self made company GetComfyGames. Who's ready to put some seeds on the ground?

Why is their a starfish on your apple?

For a 500k view video like that, if 1% of the viewers buy the game that's all that matters. That could be enough profit right there to pay dividends on the investment. I mean maybe I don't know.

Good eye! That's actually Scoombo, they may look like regular produce at a glance, but things in Rockwood island are not always what they seem!

Well mr. Shark, we believe a million dollar evaluation right now comes at a bargain, the truth is that me and my husband are both very experienced farmers by profession, we believe we provide more than your average developer, you see, my grandma passed down her seeding techniques to me before she died and that's the heart and soul of this game. When you pick up a watermelon, it's not a mechanic, it's an experience!

Who's ready to put some seeds on the ground?

kek why do they always talk like this? It's like they asked AI to generate a template or something

be Moleneux

advertise special prize as 50% ownership of LionHead studios

Change it later to "LionHead Studious tour"

Scam winner out of that too

Fucking hilarious

How much Stardew Valley is actually worth right now?

It's an online extraction hero shooter that reboots a old series with hip and trendy designs to appeal to a modern audience.

bout a millskee

Like 600 million dollars. Probably

Anon that's just called civilization.

I dont even like soulslop a lot but this would be kino as fuck if you manage to pull it off
