Anybody else playing Tainted Grail? It's kinda fun, reminds me of slightly less scuffed Two Worlds

Anybody else playing Tainted Grail? It's kinda fun, reminds me of slightly less scuffed Two Worlds.

Buy an ad

I am playing it. Just got to the second zone and I'm getting my shit pushed in. I got too cocky.

needs a puffier vulva several rows of tits

I haven't seen a single thread about it.

Was this in EA or something a friend of mine shilled it to me 2y ago

found metal gauntlets of punch harder

i will not start over i will not start over i will NOT start over

Im debating getting it
are there any fist weapons or is it just bare fist?

Been playing since yesterday. I don't think it's anywhere near as janky (aka SHIT) as two worlds.
For whatever reason the devs put ridiculously strong mobs on the way to the first town and then around the town and past it you're basically back to normal with a few higher level deserters. though maybe we both just went through the "wrong" entrance. The east entrance to the next map is a lot more peaceful than the rape jungle.

I personally just finished having reddit tier debate over why it's ok to jerk it to porn to a priest.

gachi.png - 1651x921, 1.75M

I haven't found any fist weapons. I think there are gloves that add elements to your fists though

And a giant bush

Finally found the first magic cube thing that wasn't complete shit against bosses. This + the skill that makes all damage elemental is letting me nuke absolutely everything and finally lets me use the bonus damage skills that are limited to cubes for some reason.
Anyone in the 2nd map, is there any useful mage gear that actually replaces the battlemage set? All the sets i've found so far (2) just have lame shit like really low magic crit % or magic shield%

prism.png - 382x505, 168.96K

pretty sure it's just unarmed as the gauntlets i found were glove slot armor, they just boosted your damage by the amount of armor they gave

Might as well give her inverted nips and triple the size

do a dungeon right after getting off the boat

find the big treasure, it's a mace

you need 7str to use it so if you haven't put all your stats in that fuck you

the requirements on gear are so fucking restrictive, i've never seen a game where you can't even use the shitty shortsword by default.

You can use them, and a lot of times they are better than your current weapon. The stat requirements are just for the abilities and max damage they do.

I think it's dumb too.

wait those are what's considered cubes? even though none of them are fucking cube shaped? i thought it was only the shitty amulet things you charge up for free heals (which you never need as a mage)

Nah, for exemple, at 1 str the dagger is better than the shortsword

its pretty annoying especially low lvl common weapons when you're still trying to figure out what weapons you even want to pursue.

however you can easily respec. I've picked up multiple respecc potions and you can buy them from merchants. I recently save scummed, specced into a parry shield (it was shit) so reloaded the save.

I'm going to get tainted grail conquest

Just finished act 1.
Besides Bethesda games, it reminds me of the first Witcher game. Mainly due to monster designs and "open" world structure.
It's surprisingly immersive, even with all its clunkiness.
The main story is lacking so far, though. Side quests are much more fun.
Now, I wonder if full genocide murder-hobo run is possible for this game, but that might be a tall order.

Is there an actual consequence to telling about Arthur to the guy helping you escape?

Yes those are cubes. Also I tested with some quick saving and all the magic staffs/rods whatever count as wands for the other side of that skill tree.
The magic sticks are better if you have some good weapon relics to slot in, but there are some really useful cubes.

How feasible is it to do a mace wielding knight who uses holy magic? If not I'm okay with a necromancer build if possible.

Summoner build is kinda fun so far. I've only found summons that are basically meat shields though.

all responses say basically the same thing but with more or less snark.

your only option is to say "degeneracy good!

Dialogue choices were a mistake.

I lied to him, and he accused me of that later, when I met him outside the cave with an egg

How viable is a no magic all melee knight character? Or is magic kinda necessary?

To be fair, the only reason you have to win this argument is to help the bookstore owner because he's going to burn all her porn which is her money maker with the soldiers so it makes sense that all the arguments are pro degeneracy.
Only one of them appeals to him though.

What should I put my points into?

it'll be trickier considering you can't block with magic in your offhand but at least there are 4 weapon sets with instant swapping
however i have found none (0) holy spells
even the healing ones are more druid/nature themed

For a board that still makes Skyrim threads 14 years after it was released I am surprised at how few Tainted Grail threads there are.

skyrim threads aren't about skyrim, y'know?

If I get the necromancer in the crypt to leave instead of killing him, does he show up again later? Or should I just kill him since his loot is so good?

slightly less scuffed Two Worlds

Still not crossing that bar.

I am currently dowloading this, avowed, and oblivion remaster.
Soon, I will be able to objectively judge which open world slop is the best open world slop.

What can I do to not hate the combat? I have magic and a dagger, but no real way to avoid damage or kill them first without spending a minute walking backwards

hit dude once, maybe twice

dash away

That's what the combat is, i'm afraid.

The hardest builds are hybrid builds. Going full melee is perfectly fine.

have you discovered the existence of the dash key yet?

There are no furry girls, like in Skyrim. And it's not popular enough among normies, like e33.
If any of these were true, then this game would be shilled here non-stop. And I personally wish it was. I want based poles to overthrow Todd

"The game was advertised and portrayed as a dark, immersive fantasy RPG — both in trailers, screenshots, and early gameplay. However, after progressing further, particularly in the side quests, the tone and writing shifted drastically. It began to resemble modern internet humor or "Marvel-style" writing, which breaks immersion and doesn't align with the advertised dark fantasy tone."

"For anyone looking for a true Dark Fantasy experience — as this game was advertised — don’t buy it. It leans on modern writing tropes that feel out of place, and it avoids classic dark fantasy themes, likely to stay "safe." It’s disappointing because I was genuinely excited for this game. Just more proof that sometimes sailing the seas is the better option (don't need a refund than). I’ve requested a refund, as I won’t be playing this any further. Unfortunately, no amount of modding can fix Reddit-style writing."

Uhhh guys...

They really need to fix the enemy casters being able to shoot behind them. Dude faces away from me and the projectile still goes right in my face.

What kind of build do you want to play? Pick a style that seems like it would be fun for you and put them towards that.

(From what I heard this game isn't like Skyrim where you can just become the ultimate everything, so maybe look at a character from some fantasy book/movie/game and try to build that)

talk about video games

"BUY AN AD!!1"

move onto the next twitter reaction thread and then kys faggot

so im playing the main quest and got to the Galahad part and honestly i see no reason to side with anyone because i haven't yet gotten the chance to judge for myself who's right or wrong. i've seen a tiny part of the world yet the narrative wants me to judge whether Kamelot (a place i've never been to) is in the right or if the Keepers + tribes are in the right (i know next to nothing about them)
so on the basis of what am i supposed to make this decision? at least in Skyrim i was able to learn about the motivations and good vs bad of Empire vs Stormcloaks before the conflict forced me hand, but in this game it feels like i'm being asked to make a judgement call about something big but i have been given next to zero information about eitherside

The central issue you're alluding to is there is no actual choice, just different ways of agreeing with the writers' mouthpiece. Actual dialogue choices would be great.

Enemy casts fireball

Sidestep to dodge it

Projectile goes right where I sidestepped to.

Everytime

You can buy lightning bold from the alchemist in the first town. It made the early game much easier for me, until I found one-shotting fireball. I'm playing on hard (or whatever max difficulty is called)

dude quirps lmao

sarcastic douchebag, yup, that's the only personality for me

Is the combat at least better than Skyrim? I just cannot play nuBethesda shit combat anymore

Does the retard who wrote this review even know what "Marvel-style" writing is? Just adding silly things in serious setting is not that.
Can you name at least one good dark fantasy title which takes itself seriously 100% of the time?

Reviews say performance is even worse than oblivion remaster, that accurate?

Parry system, dodge system, heavy/light attacks. Its pretty fun bonking someone over the head with a big hammer or weaving in and out of combat with a spear or daggers and light armor.

It is. But it's not good either.
Skyrim combat is 1/10 for me.
Grail combat is 5/10

There's a free demo, you can find out for yourself

found the Spellslinger's set, an Arcanist's Sword, and a chain lightning spell all in the span of 30min

I love when a build all comes together.

Cool thanks

Fucker if you're going with that shameless plug at least throw a few keys.

respecced to try out unarmed

oh no it's actually fun oh fuck

Demo is outdated AFAIK.
It's better to pirate it to be sure.

if you haven't already, go do the wreck of the andraste quest, there's a pretty sick spellsword blade on a boss in the cave

Well, Galahad has a reputation as 'the butcher' and clearly is slaughtering a bunch of people in the name of the once and future king so if you can't make a decision based on that idk what to tell you bro. Also Caladan or whatever homeboys name is tells you King Arthur is a piece of shit. Whether or not you choose to believe them is up to you.

Caladan

Malazan reference? Based if so.

It seems like a lot of people are offended by this game. I guess since 50 polish people can't exceed Bethesda games in every way they should not have the audacity to make a first person RPG, that takes inspiration from their games.
Personally, this game seems pretty awesome though. It's likely just Skyrim fanboys, the usual people who want to hate everything, and bots.

Can you punch with one hand and have a spell out in the other?

Yeah

No idea where that is but I'll keep an eye out, thanks.

Right, figures, with the themes going on.

its kinda annoying Sir Gallahad is a raving bloodthirsty maniac when he's the greatest of Knights and one who, with Sir Percival, finds the Grail in the stories.

plenty of knights they could have subverted, always erks me when someone portrayed as the most just and holy man among the Order is depicted shitty.

It's not the same Galahad that crossed the boat with Arthur - it's like an honorary title.

Galahad isn't being portrayed as shitty, the person currently filling the role of Galahad is. Arthur contemplates tha the Galahad he knew was zealous and hot headed, which is why he did not take him as one of his advisors, but that the current Galahad's cruelty and ways go far beyond it.
Spoilers You'll start to find tombs of the knights of the round table, which inter each generation that fills the role left behind and each of them can't live up to the role in one way or another

The achievement for completing the tutorial is at 0.4% so I'm not convinced you played it at all, OP

fair enough, a title bearer is a fine way to do this, then.

my only other gripe is Excalibur looks like shit.

its been depicted in thousands of depictions, and out of all of them, they go with this weird Mall Sword look?

even FF14's is far superior, if a bit glitzy.

Yes. I am having so much fun. The game is very interesting. The world exploration is great.

Fuckin FATE STAY NIGHT has a better one, at least its just a big fuck off english longsword.

large.jpg - 960x540, 112.22K

No, this is a bad look for excalibur. Haven't seen the TG's one yet but can't be worse than this, what the fuck even is it with that thickness, a mace?

I'm pretty sure that numbers been completely fucked by Early access not having achievements, so everyone who played prior to a couple days ago is being counted as never having done anything. unless someone who played before a couple days ago wants to confirm or deny.
I've seen it with a couple other EA to launch games before.

its a Paladin thing, all their weapons have to be, around the sameish length.

and they all pair with a shield,

There is no excalibur sword nor other cool arthurian soul power related that its summon it to do crazy damage in gameplay

anon... the game is free...
it's on gog...

i got weird fps drops at prison start but it was fine but oh my god the map its camelotian silent hill almost it just miss pitch black darkness at night

Does melee get better? I always run out of stamina.

I wish this game had more discussion around it. There's a good chunk of quests now where there is zero discussion online around them but clearly have different endings depending on choices (I just want to see what the other choices could have led to).
For example, did anyone choose to lose 40 max health for Boer's heart? What happens?

Yeah if its not 24/7 RAPE with a side of RAPE and a little bit more RAPE on the side with a dash of GORE AND RAPE then its really just not dark fantasy!

Nevermind it has all the gore and rape, it's really just marvel-esque because its not enough!

Why do i need three fucking endurance just to wear fucking leather boots? This system is so goddamn fucking shit.

I don't even know what he's complaining about, the quest design so far has stayed very true to being a more dark rpg. There are some more lightheaded quests for sure, but there's also plenty of quests that take themselves seriously and don't have anywhere close to a happy ending.

So how similar is it to dark messiah?
Minus the infinity boot of course

The two red priests in the Asylum is literally the hardest fight I had to do so far (playing Veteran no healing in battle).

Well, you have a giant knight dude instead of a hot succubus in your head

S-surely there is a cute girl somewhere to compensate right?

I found Lancelot's tomb

Is it actually an Elder Scrolls like or is it just another marketing lie like Kingdom Come did?

If you're a two-hander with a high enough STR stat you can punch the enemies with your sword and they go flying just like the kick with the same ragdoll animations

no housing

no companions

no romance/marriage

not actually open world, just seperate big hub worlds

You can pet him.

Anon there's a house for you to buy in the very first village
if you can't even be arsed to get the first line in your pasta right, I'm inclined to believe the rest is bullshit too.

Marketing lie.

not actually open world, just seperate big hub worlds

Holy fucking based.

not enough zanzibar vagueposting "dialogues" I guess

>no housing

tranny

Oh nooo I can't pretend to have a girlfriend in a video game, what will I doooo

no romance/marriage

lol

Love.jpg - 529x89, 7.3K

Played the demo awhile back. I wasn't really impressed, but it seemed OK to waste time with at least.

Is there any benefit to not killing Caradoc on the beach?

In case you didn't know, magic gets sneak attack bonus. Have fun.

Did you guys also kill that blind bitch after you discovered the truth?

Yep. Been zapping everyone to death with the ability that gives more damage on first hit. Melts most common enemies in one hit.

i met a sexy pict lady and she said amogus

amogus.jpg - 884x965, 143.18K

If you meet a Strafather you can burn his protective straw with a single flame attack. He becomes easy to kill after that.

Time for a strong womyn of colour to show these whiteys how to get things done.

Lancelot's sword is amazing. It gets even better if you upgrade it too.

What are you Roleplaying as? Personally I'm roleplaying an exile Pict girl. Traumatized by her treatment in the asylum she refuses to use anything that's been touched by Red Priests (which means I had to fight my way out with my fists).

Where the FUCK is the treasure from the Andraste? I thought the caves the journal mentioned was the smugglers caves and I ended up fighting an army of drug dealers with no shipwreck treasure in sight

Druid. I'm just in the second area. Until now I only found two other druidbros(besides the charred ones that is).

There is cave that loops back to the entrance with some water monster boss that drops a nice sword.

It looks like something you see at a pool party

The only possible roleplay is as an amnesiac. Because I don't know a thing about the setting.

I just respec'ed to become a battle mage ... a dual wielding berzerk with an army of ghouls, casting blizzards for splash, werfing ze flamen for lulz, and I found an undead cook who gave me a spell to turn enemies into literal cheese ... this game, I swear

based.png - 1024x572, 336.4K

What kind if monsters are there?
I dont really want to play yet another game where "monsters" just mean

carnivorous plant

big spider

find bow that has huge damage and does an AOE on hit

one shotting everything with wooden arrows

gg no re

gb.jpg - 1709x1108, 551.52K

Red Caps
Fey
Ogres
Drowners
Two types of mist monsters.
Some four legged frog thing I forgot the name off
Some huge spectral knight you can't kill that shows up if you spend too much time in the wyrdnes at night.
Strawfather
Strawchildren
That's all I saw that isn't a wolf or bandit or deserter knight.

Easy way to explain would be imagine a world with a lot of DnD monsters + a lot of knock off witcher monsters

its just monsters of polish and welsh myth..
retard.

they inspired by the same central euro mythology (polish studio)
I like that the knights helmets go 'clank' when you bonk them :3 different sounds for different weapons is attention to detail I did not expect

yes, so witcher monsters. I was aiming for an easy explanation that most people are aware of instead of some vague bullshit like "bro it's welsh and polish myth" that no one fucking knows.

Special death if you try to leave the Island asylum by swimming.

Neato (Basically the Red Priests recapture you and dissect you to get Arthur's essence)

WHO

Explains it the easy way

"UHM ACKSHULLY"

defend the game's darker aspects in the thread

game immediately drops "le whacky druid stuck me in a T pose and also the bagpipes sound terrible" quest on me

TP.jpg - 635x545, 90.01K

Game ran perfectly fine during the prologue but once i reached the bigger map im crashing way too often

darker aspects

there's a quest reward spell that turns people into cheese

Are spears viable and cool and fun?

how is duel welding? is it as broken as avowed?

Do choices matter or is it like Skyrim where the decisions are superficial and nothing really changes the outcome?

Anyone know where wood chopping spots are? I've only found the one next to the hunter dude by the cemetery.

Is there a way to dismiss summons? Three ghouls warping in front of me is really annoying.

Heard turning vegetation down to medium helps but can't confirm, works on my machine and all that

There's one in the horns of the south fortress near the walkway up to the walls

more damage but slow consecuitive attacks till you up your attack speed.

the game has an actual combat system unlike Bethesda, so there's ways to add depth, like better attack speed, special effects on weapons, dashing, parrying.. ect.

Fun spell if used on weak enemies.

That's the neat part - it seems there's no right & wrong, just choice and consequence. I mean, what can you possibly know about the Royal Butcher & the rebellion?
Remember the grayed-out dialogue lines with Mallory, where's it's literally impossible to be so high level to use em? Point is you'll see everything, just go by instinct - my heart of hearts told me to kill the butcher & his whole company.

You should have a spell that dismisses summons and returns the mana used. Earliest you can get it is from the necromancer on the cemetery.

yes there's a specific spell that dismisses them. It's not very common as I've only got two copies but it's "Soul Salvage". The first copy I know I got from Yornath/Yorath, the necromancer in the crypt.
the other I feel was with another summoning spell in a chest. Maybe the wolf one in the miners tunnel

Royal Butcher & the rebellion

Galahad was far nicer and reasonable than the Horns commander made him out to be. Also his explanation about the second lighthouse is what turned me over to his side. The entire narrative about Kamelot not giving shit about horns fell apart at that moment.

I am quite terrible at this game. When I block with a shield I still take tons of damage

the difficulty in the game is just enemies one tapping you or just being irrelevant

you can beat everything by spamming the starter blood spell and dashing back when the enemy attacks

this is shit lmao

far nicer and reasonable

IDK, having a discussion in front of the burning, impaled corpses of the officers he ordered to be executed for frivolous reasons was a bit...off putting.

the game is too performance heavy for what it is. i don't need my games to have GREAT GRAFFIX or anything but come on this looks like a 2012 game yet it runs as if it's a 2019 game

... but killing him was fun :( How was I supposed to know there's lighthouses & plot & whatever?
Huge man in cool armor, laughing in front of burning corpses - a fight HAD to happen. Hits like a truck too

dethklok.mp4 - 480x270, 254.79K

If I want to use physics to ragdoll people around and toss them everywhere, what should I use? Is there magic designed around throwing people around, or should I just go strength and kick/punch people

straight north from the wreck, it's under the giantass cliff with the allmother shrine on it

After everything he put the most normal person in charge of Horns. Not a fanatic but a man that gets shit done. I don't see any downsides.

THANK YOU!!!!!

You haven't noticed that huge lighthouse that generates a forcefield at night? You can see it from most of Horns.

cheers, enjoy your cool magic sword you're gonna have to earn it

Gotta relearn how normal games work after Souls.
I see a NPC wearing cool stuff I wanna shank them for their drip.

Aight fuck it, you've convinced me to get this game
Really hope I dont get stuck on build autism

Best drop in Horns of South you get from Lancelot.

make litterally who game

shill it on Anon Babble because its free and you have no money because you're poor

indie threads get shitcanned, ban all indiefags on sight

Also the fact that Brendan (I cannot for the life of me remember his actual name) is a slimy fuck and tries dragging you into bullshit you didn't sign up for. Galahad is ruthless but there's an honesty and straightforwardness to the transaction he does with you that you just do not get from anyone else in the game up to that point.

frivilous

When the times are THAT shit, executing a thief and a deserter is pretty typical. The other kills we see are of known traitors, either to the wider tribe or to Kamelot. Not to say that Galahad was somehow in the right, but he's portrayed as senselessly killing without reason by those who dislike him when in actuality there is atleast some method behind the madness. It's still hard to side with him, but it's a bit telling when the "crazed lunatic" is more open to dialogue and discourse with you than the two rebel leaders.

how does this compare to oblivion, not sure which one to pick and does it have roaming npcs/dynamic events?

being an industrycuck

It's a budget Oblivion. NPCs roam about but not the same way as in Oblivion. The setting sells it really. I like it but I also like King Arthur Knigts Tale because I'm a sucker for dark Arthurian stuff.

Nope. Nothing dynamic in the world, all the spawns are static. There is level scaling, so that bandit camp will always spawn the same bandits in the same spot but always remain as damage sponges

Ohh, I'm gonna have to explore more, and finish all the quests - where & how is currently a mystery ;dd. The armor from the Blood Lake cavern carried me well into the second act, there's probably good stuff with the druids too

but always remain as damage sponges

That's bullshit because I returned to Horns and everything dies in one hit. The wolves in the second area have multiple the health of the ones in Horns.

There is level scaling

There is no level scaling you lying faggot.
Outlaws remain outlaws, wolves remain wolves.

KCD was significantly better than any TES game. I'll buy this game right now if it's like KCD but with better combat.

edgekino vs Oblivion - both are good, but you know exactly what to expect from Bethesda & we already played it 20y ago.

Danheim doing the soundtrack is what won me over, nothing oozes grimdark atmosphere like that - those first duels & the subsequent massacres are just

love_it.gif - 480x270, 734.22K

Should I make a sexy girl summoner or a cool old man summoner?

I like the intro. The singing during Arthur's death is KINO. I searched up the lyrics turns out it's about Ymir birthing the world. Pretty cool.

god damn i hate those buggane moles:
near instant attacks that take off 50% of your health
huge hitboxes that makes dashing to dodge pointless
take barely any damage
THEY AREN'T EVEN BLIND

you would suck a big, fat, unwashed cock for enough money
don't act like you're above it

what the fuck is this horny ass euro trash game the first book i pickup is about some rape fetish then the place the heroes come from is calle kumalot. is this just some skyrim mod coomer who just made his own game or what

Melee combat sucks and I uninstalled.
Might have to try this game again in like 2 years if they ever bother to update it.

moron

brehs, how do I repair the broken gong? the games giving me no hint

are there factions/guilds you can join?

If you were stuck in a shitty dungeon with dying people you would too read porn to get away from it

How's the slut-wear in this game?

No
Barely any, and it is all edgy. A ribcage as a chest armor type shit

It seems like a lot of people are offended by this game.

Probably just one schizo since all of those posts are written in the same style.

failed elder scrolls copy

the oldfagsmith pieces it together with web

How is 2 handed in this game? I really hate that you can't use a spell with a two hander like Oblivion, instead you have to use an entire hand for spells.

anyone else trying to fugg the bugg?
i've given her like 400 webs and all i get is more of her love nectar
which is, admittedly, nice

Maybe a retarded question but how do I know what one-handed swords are daggers?

maybe you dont?

Game has a third person camera.

literal Anon Babble transplant

Sex mods when

galahad is too hard, wtf is this

No way. I just assumed it didnt. Gonna check out the gameplay now

No one wats to fuck dirty subhuman picts and dal riata

I do

There is level scaling

what leads people to just lie like this for no reason?

Correct response. Expedition 33 is Anon Babble's game of the month. If you're shilling anything else, you're not 4channy. Rajesh is paying us for E33, not Tainted Grail.

be advised: third person mode is currently a hack job added at the last second. playing the game in third person is NOT recommended until they improve it further

sadly its shit, worse combat than the worst elder scrolls game, in 2025 like basic shit like impact is not a thing in this game but all the tedious eurojank slop is upfront and center

You have never even played it.

worse combat than the worst elder scrolls game

this game looks so cheap, Anon Babble's standards are so low

It is cheap. I got it for free. Great game.

nah m8. some parts of it are annoying but it has some really fun moments. Honestly the perks are better than skyrims perks, i dont really like people comparing the two games, skyrim feels better in some ways, but these perks really opened my eyes to just how shit skyrim perks are. Fun shit like doing 50% more damage if you are under 40%, combo/moment type perks like gaining an extra 4% attack speed buff for each attack stacking up a # of times, gaiing 5% more damage for each melee hit that stacks up and lasts until you are healed. A lot of fun little gimmick perks and they can synergize to make different builds, maybe you will go all in on parry, maybe be a berserker type that stacks attack speed and damage when low on HP. Im looking at the perks and cant decide what i want to get first, meanwhile in skyrim its like "oh yes i need 5x the 20% damage nodes so i deal 20% damage otherwise the level scaling will fuck me over"

cheap game made by drunk poles on an old version of unity is still miles better than avowed

sad

E33 came out more than a month ago

Does anyone knows if the ores you mine respawn?
Just curious if I should save the materials I find for important crafting or if I can just craft whenever.

Does difficulty just make enemies spongier? I keep dying on hard in the prison

Yes they respawn, also fair warning because the following breaks the economy in half while maxing out your crafting skill
Go to Archspire, mine all the wyrdstone, sleep a day or so, mine it all again. Repeat. At this point you could just sell it. However if you have a billion cobwebs you probably do), then continue with story until you get the relic recipe from the tribe blacksmith for 1 wyrdstone, 5 cobwebs for something worth 250. Now make sure you're well rested (sleep in bed), and craft as many as possible and sell. You'll level your crafting dozens of times, you'll get boosted exp, and you'll make a lot of money. 50% chance to keep materials skill and the sell for more skill help too ofcourse

bro im talking about combat
its trash, just get over it. its so bad. if anyone is on the fence, get oblivion remaster instead its literally infinitely better in every way

summoning monsters is always cool

the best summons in the game by far are default texture npc summons

Devs couldn't even give them spooky green eyes or something to match the monster summons?
Still ends up being worth it when 5 summons just surround a boss and start beating the shit out of it.

its trash, just get over it. its so bad. if anyone is on the fence, get oblivion remaster instead its literally infinitely better in every way

Oblivion combat is just this but with close to zero mobility options and zero design space on weapon abilities though. I'd love to hear what makes it infinitely better.

Oblivion combat is literally worse than this.

For me, it's Blades of Fire.

mocap

very heavy combat

not floaty

every hit feels important

hand-made levels and enemy placements

custom engine

soulsrike/nu-gow combat but heavily expanded, stances, tons of moves

weapon forging with deep mechanics

im was having fun then i minimised and read this thread and now i see i was not having fun it must have been an illusion

I forget where I got the lightning spell.

Surprised you aren't using the battlemage set from the tomb of the good druid. Spellslinger definitely has better aesthetics though and some pieces seem better overall if you're ok with significant armor reduction.
You'll probably agree with me when you see the next mage set you get from the main quests in the next map, but I desperately want a transmog option, even if it's crafting thing.

Should I go

dodge/parry/light armor spear

same as above but also with light magic

full magic

Spellslinger definitely has better aesthetics though

That's the reason. The Battlemage set is hideous.

Is there anywhere I can find a healing spell? My character doesn,t talk to Red Pr*ests

This but unironically

Yes they respawn

nice.
I'm too early on to do any of that spoiler but I'll keep it in mind.

I just left the first area after doing (hopefully) most of the quests. What can I say, game's fun. I'm very happy the game lets you respec easily. I found 3 potions without even trying. I used one because I put a lot of points into one handed and from my experience they're just inferior. At least in terms of raw physical damage. First I was thinking about a "restoration" build a-la TES where I buff myself and attack with a sword, but there are very few healing spells in act 1. I've only ever found 2. I tried sword and board and found that the shield is nearly useless (although I've found better shields since) and while dual wielding was effective, it didn't feel especially strong. Then a decided to equip that club you take off that bandit on the ruined bridge and I started BONKing stuff and it's so much more powerful. So I recommitted. The only annoying thing is that the particle effect for that ability that does AOE damage on attack is VERY annoying.
Shit out of luck, I think. At least for the first area.

The shields have a block value. I think the shittier shields are meant to let some damage through (unless you time it?). I noticed that most of the shields I found later on also have unique abilities like applying ice damage and whatnot. So they're more of a mix between secondary weapon and shield rather than just being a board you hide behind.

How the fuck do you fight the teleporting nigga who keeps ringing a bell at you at night time and disappears when you look at him

For someone who hates first-person melee combat, which is better for a ranged build, archer or mage?

I'm starting to think a no healing outside of resting run was a mistake.

Archer is for stealth archer memes
mage is for actually fighting the enemies.
There's also summons which go well with both.

Did they go full Skyrim with the stealth-archer in this?

Sounds terrible lol

How does healing actually work when resting?
I could rest the whole night and not regain any HP.
Is it location dependent?

It really is. Especially since I'm going melee and it feels virtually impossible to avoid getting hit sometimes. Parry is useless against more than 1 enemy, you can't dodge forever either.

you can maybe do big bows for stealth archery and the smaller bows for actual combat. big bows are no joke in terms of stamina usage. Using summons to distract and short bows might be good too.

You need to use a bed or an upgraded bonfire I think.

The clothes Alisa makes for you are honestly better than those.

Is there anyway to view crafting/cooking/alchemy recipes without using a workstation?

Which build should I go for?

D&D ranger: Summoning + Archery + Light Armor

Overlord: Two-handed + Summoning + Heavy Armor

Battlemage: Sword + Spell + Heavy Armor

Maybe try "no healing in combat"?

Yeah I might do just that, and maybe add a "no crafting heals" out of town stipulation.

I've been having a lot of fun just going outside the Horns, killing and exploring until sunset and then running back to town before the Wyrdness. Trying to get geared up before I try surviving a night.

Also, do Sneak and Weak points stack? if I stealth archer a nigga in the head do I get both damage boosts?

I like how the armor levels depend on the total weight worn and not the pieces. It makes more sense that way.

nigga wtf is going on in this game

skyrim but bad

no thankx

Skyrim was already bad however

Call me autistic, but I can't get into the game because the characters are too "generic unreal engine game". Any time a game doesn't have bespoke character models it just feels too much like an asset flip for me to care.

I think it's better than Un-modded Skyrim.

Are there monster girls in this game. Like maybe a spider creature or something

Been playing it quite a bit lately, it's actually pretty fun. I thought the combat was awful at first but it grew on me quick. I wish there were more movesets and stuff.
There's a bee queen you can be a simp for

design my character as a duelist

pet the frog to lose my left arm because of role play

spec heavily into critical rate, critical damage, parry window, etc.

duel the knight for his sword for drip and more damage against low stamina enemies after I parry them constantly

wear light to medium armor and zip around constantly in the interim

this shit is so fun

this game isn't shy with humor at all

Why is magic so weak?

It's not. Invest in Spirituality stat/perks and look for non-starter spells. Magic is stupid strong.

Guess I'll pirate it. If you steal art it's fair to steal your game.

At the All Mother temple, what is needed at the shrine? I can't find the hint.

Let's be real, you would have found an excuse to pirate it no matter what.

How fucking subversive is this game? How "achtually King Arthur and his Knights are all bad :^)" does it get? Do they make Guinevere out to be a whore and a villain, and get apologetic for Morgan le Fay?

ujc2d6.png - 618x679, 148.11K

Arthur, please, do not stop talking.

the lack of answers leads me to conclude jewry is in full force and this is another thinly veiled deconstruction of another Brythonic hero as a punishment for English Imperialism.

King arthur wasnt real anon, its fine. They're not actual historical characters

I am having so much fun.

that OP pic looks hard af fresh off a metal album

Better or worse than Skyrim with no mods?

None of us here have actually finished the game (I assume, it came out last Friday) but from what I've seen so far I wouldn't call it "subversive". First, this is not necessarily a retelling of the Arthurian legend. It's more of an "inspired by" than "based on". The game takes place many years after Arthur died. The kingdom is in decline due to the everpresent danger of "wyrdness" i.e weird mystical forces beyond human comprehension(?), plague and god knows what else. You meet a fragment of Arthur's soul/consciousness and the main quest is about recovering more fragments. As the story goes on you can talk to these shards and get to know Arthur and form an opinion about him. I think the story is going in a direction where you'll have to decide whether Arthur did the best he could under the circumstances or if he gazed into the abyss too long.

King Arthur and his Knights are all bad

In Act 1 or the first open area, it was more about the conflict between locals with smaller concerns who are willing to surrender the ideals and heritage of their forebears VS the powers that be from distant Kamelot who have perhaps lost sight of some important values in their great battles for civilization . From the little I've seen in Act 2 that will be the theme as well.

Morgan le Fay

She hasn't shown up as a character for me yet, but there is a strange cult of people who manipulate society behind the scenes who consider her their patron. not a good guy.

In short, it's not a "white is black, black is white" sort of thing. Also, it's 1AM you faggot why do you expect people to answer you right away?

Better than Skyrim with mods

why, I played an old version and the combat was essentially "never be hit or die"

just got game pass and even avowed has better combat than this
its like this game didnt even try

I play on hardest difficulty as light armour mage and I can tank 3-4 hits from first area bosses. Bears can double-shot me, but they are easy to dodge, and I can kill them before they reach me

Combat is the only thing that avowed excelled at

Another game for collage with modern interfaces

Any cute girls in it?

all of them?
Berserk
First Law
Prince of Thorns

I can't even think of that much dark fantasy stuff of the top of my head that even mildly popular as most of the stuff I like is quite niche.

idk like r u saying stuff like souls games don't take themselves seriously? 99.99% of time or even 100% of the time, there is a joke or two in there but like dark fantasy and humor don't really go together that much.

tell Caradoc about Arthur

he stabs me

reload and try to fight him him and get 1 shot

reload again and this time cheese burning him to death slowly from a hill with fireballs

get 3 levels instantly and his gear and an achievement

Did I just break the story? Does this game do a morrowind/new vegas alert when you break or fail quests? Is his faction gonna dislike me now? Those levels are nice

Got to the second area and I'm hitting open world fatigue
combat is pure jank but everything else is pretty gud

kb+m or controller?

can't promise it wont fuck up later on but the story allows you to "side" with Arthur (even after Caradoc stabs you) so i guess you are just siding with Arthur right away.
Did you get the south horns pin from caradoc? (from his corpse maybe?)

Any fun build suggestions?
I was going for stealth archer but then I realize most of my shits wouldn't work in a boss fight.

summon the meatshields, bonk with biggest weapon you got

Combat can be kinda fun after you get through the noob phase.
I maxed out the dash tree (except slide, how do you slide?) and wield dual weapons at a fast pace.

Berserk

Berserk has it's fair share of comic relief. Puck as a character is largely just that and trying precisely to get Guts to relax and stop being so edgy.

Sprint and crouch.

I've got what you need.

where is that?

>AI "art"

where?

Indie elder scrolls but more linear and lacking features skyrim has.

I think souls game are more like 90% serious. They all have a fair share of silliness in them.

Jokes and humor don't mean they aren't taking themselves seriously.
Lighter moments and humor is very different from humor at inappropriate and serious moments.
Having characters not be serious all the time is very different from something not treating itself seriously by having goofy shit in it that doesn't treat every situation as if it seriously was happening.

Man, reading some of the "critiques" here shows how this place just keeps getting more and more retarded. I only played like 7 hours so far, but for some indie studio that never made a game like this before this seems like a huge success.
I very much hope this studio doesn't get bought out or expand too fast or anything. I've been dying for RPGs that are actually RPGs and aren't made for faggots, journalists, and people who "just want to kill dragons". Rather than having an aversion to it like most modern RPGs I actually find this game's world, and music, and art design, and everything really cool.

They definitely have some absurdity but they treat that absurdity completely seriously and the characters are portrayed as being strange for acting in this way, it isn't ignored and treated as normal that they are acting strange.

Jokes and less serious moments where things are lighter is very different from something not treating itself and whats happening seriously. It is normal for characters to have breaks and periods of rest, its normal for them to have character moments and joke around with each, it isn't normal to tell jokes in the middle of fighting for your life, it isn't normal to the treat the absurd and abnormal as normal.

To be fair, Soul Eater whole theme is madness, especially since the moment they introduced Stein.

never even heard of the game just saw it on Steam. played the demo and fuck, it made me feel pretty happy just from the general vibe. not even the biggest fan of FP-RPG or TES, but it's obviously wearing the influence proudly on its sleeve and they seem to have done an good fucking job. the thing really selling me is how creative it is, the sort of aesthetic and darkness that we've lost in the gay and lame DEI-AAA era. getting shit like this and E33 after DragonAge and stuff... happy AA is killing it.

it's funny because the discussion always comes up, 'why are there more Skyrim clones?', and here we are. if i wasn't so busy with other games i'd buy it right now, but anyway I likely will soon.

idk if I would call soul eater dark fantasy
and well, the characters are meant to be loons, its expected of them.

Theres 2 sets that replace some pieces not full sets

Sprint plus spamming the duck button makes ur guy surf om the floor. Its much faster than even the super jank horse

can i fuck bitches in this game?
and by that i mean engage in romantic courtship with a decently written npc female in the hopes of eventual marriage and or raw primal sex

Literally played 16 hours of the game in third person only it's great

Yeah 2 different ones but no sexo

How can I cheese the knight boss fight that I'm supposed to assassinate?

I really like the game just because the Greatsword feels amazing to use. Parry into an execute does NOT get old.

I honestly don't see the point of the stat system in general, feels like one of the things they should've just ripped of TES as well.

Should I just sell everything to 1 vendor or do vendors buy things for more $$$ if they sell that type of item? Like a doctor giving more for potions and shit.

ALso I heard about some bug that your game can severely slow down if you sell too much because the game has an infinite buyback option so the merchants inventory just gets ridiculous.

images (5).jpg - 201x251, 8.1K

I heard it had similarities to Dark Messiah. How similar are we talking? Cause I fucking love Dark Messiah. I find it hard to believe though because so few games even attempt to pull that kind of combat off, much less succeed.

i never played dark messiah but ill tell you this is the best first person combat I've played with yet.

Soul Eater is only really dark in aesthetics and individual moments. Tonally it's basically always pretty high-spirits and wacky.

I have the weirdest boner

Anyone got tips for running Unarmed?

No, while I do go around saying I want more devs to make decent AA games I'm not going to pay full price for their shit. This kind of game is a buy it for ten bucks on sale thing for me.

King Arthur is a bad guy in this game?
He looks like budget Sauron in that edgy armor.

Is stealth any good in this?

from what i can tell he's not bad but his soul is corrupted, because fanatics keep recycling him, reviving parts of his shattered soul to deal with their problems. the ritual scenes you see don't exactly look like good guy behaviour, but he has no knowledge/memory of being the antagonist.
but that's just my impression from the prologue. appears to me like you have a choice to go along with the 'default' path of killing / sealing him away permanently, or you could possibly cleanse / redeem him.

Parry into an execute

Teach me.

Yeah I sided with Galahad. How could you tell?

I need the bee pussy

Can I have skeletons?

I sided with Galahad because those Welsh bastards made fun of me for being a wizard

Yes there is a quest about dealing with a necromacer early into the game, you can get a skeleton summon and the necromancer's robes

what's with the writing? Its avowed levels of bad.

Arthur is the only good character so far.

Terrible eurojank translation and general polish mentality.
Meanwhile, Avowed has no excuse.

Does this game have the spirit of Piranha Bytes?

talk my way past snu snu ginger lady at the savage village so I don't have to fight her

everyone is already talking to me like I did something for them

Shitty jank game or what?

People were saying in the first threads that it had tons of slutty dresses for females

Is the wyrd knight killable? The first time he appeared, he just vanished after one hit. He reappeared a little later but also despawned after taking a little damage.

AVALON IS NOT A REAL COUNTRY
YOU ARE AN ENGLISHMAN IN A DRESS

You mean the fore dweller ghost nigger knight that appears at night?
To fight him you need to progress the story.
Yeah he's killable, he's a fucking giga sponge, but doable. He drops ~200 webs and 11 exquisite unidentified items, no unique loot though.

Not even Piranha Bytes had the spirit of Piranha Bytes.

Yeah, I've already touched Excalibur and have the ghost attack me. It's a shame he has nothing besides webs and unidentified stuff though.

but enough about fantasy life I

Ahh hello anons another day another adventure. Just got to the second area looking to get my footing.. getting fucked up a bit which is good. thought i had become OP already but nope

yeah it reminds me of elex

Feels like King Arthur here is the Partysnax of the game while Carador is the Delphine

Should I inject the king with mushrooms? I let him die and his gear is good, what do I get if I let the kingdom live?

ive touched excalibur and so now i can open those doors with the sword on the button.Ive been through two of those dungeons in the first area -- am i forgetting / missing one? I've been to the druid one in the middle and the water temple next to the merchant

3rd person is comically bad

Unsure if there's any future rammifications but if you let the mushrooms spore, you don't get any loot from the king, but if you go back outside then talk to where the mushroom infected knight was originally you get a funny but useless hat that reminds me of the soulsborne big yellow headpiece ongoing joke. You also get an achievement.
From a gear standpoint it's worth killing the king for the cape alone if you're a mage.

Yeah I checked and I got this thing, goodbye mushroom kingdom.

implying they're foreigners

decent eurojank indie game but retarded youtubers shilling it as new skyrim are doing it more harm than good

Never had fun even once in Skyrim. This is better in every way.

they actually put aylmaos in a fantasy game. eurojankdevs have absolutely no restraint

How hard is this game on the PC?
Does it run well?

Just in case anyone wanted to know the outcomes for Beor's heart questline:
Use your own max health for the heart:
Go back the next day and Beor will ask for your help to make a hammer. After gathering the materials he'll confess to you, you can tell him it's just the heart. You have a few options, accept his love, reject him, or reject him and take the hammer. Anything except accepting his love will lock him out of being a shopkeep
Kill 15 monsters to make the heart:
All seems well up until you complete the main quest for the area. Beor has lost his mind due to the souls inside the heart, and talks about wanting to eat newborns and your heart. Obviously you lose access to the shop too
So all in all
If you want to keep him as a shop, you have to sacrifice max health AND be a faggot. so buy everything you want then either reject him (he'll live at the cost of your health) or drive him insane

i helped my bee queen and got bee man as a summon

im having fun now that i finally upgraded my spells from starter ones, feels like so many stats dumped just for mp5. probably start a new char as melee see how it goes.

What are the chances they'll improve the third person animations in future updates?

It's kinda on par with unmodded Skyrim, but with actually shittier 3rd person combat.

I just finished the demo.
One of the reviews said that the full game is better than the demo.
Is that true?
I actually liked the demo.

The demo appears to be an ancient build

WHY THE FUCK DOES THE MUSCULAR OPTION HAVE TWO BELLY BUTTONS?!?!

Double the nutrition double the gainz

Is it just me or did this come out of nowhere?
Never heard of it before and it's apparently good?

It's been in Early Access for like 2 years IIRC.

I haven't gotten any new conversations with Arhur since I unlocked the King's Soul skill tree, is my game bugged?

He only gets new topics when you meet someone related to him or another part of his soul.

FUCK I just saw that tree. if I had known I would have stashed EVERYTHING i found - increase profit in practicality tree. sell everything i had found. respec into a proper build again

I talked to the Weaver just now and he didn't wanna chat
It's been around 10 hours since I unlocked the new skill tree
I also talked to The One and the prophet who claimed to be Arthur's sister and he didn't wanna chat either

find book with armor set recipe

the book is about a necromancer that wanted to protect himself against his own undead

the set looks like necromancer gear

it's made out of bones and skulls

it's a +Ranged dmg and stamina reduction set and not a summoning set

The game's great so far. Jank as all fuck but you can tell the devs loved their project. Also bugs.

high
they are aware many people prefer 3rd person in such games

Demo is fucking terrible.

Enemies often have no tells at all to their attacks

Dodge them anyways and they have no cooldown o nthem so they just spam them again anyways

Unarmed does < 3% of enemies hp per hit, so fuck you if you didn't pick a magic class

You're faster than enemies even without your op dodge so there's no threat if you do have a ranged attack, so enemies go from unfairly hard to boringly easy, at no point did they feel like good enemies

Some items can be grabbed, some can't, no way to tell unless I walk up to and mouse over everything indivudually

Checkpoints are absurdly far apart if you do die

Shit character customization too

This and it already has a Conquest in the same series on steam. Which was also bad.

Is there a spell or potion that can regrow it? I can't use a wand and spell with one hand.

Checkpoints

looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

That's what the demo uses.

You can quicksave you dork

Met the dueling knight at lv3

Challenged to fight thinking it's just parry time

Killed in a single hit, hitting him 3 times kills you

Walk backward spamming the bleed spell for 10 minutes while he slowly walks towards you

The drip looks nice and parry shield is cool, looks like it's bleed spear and parry till the end of the game

Not in the demo

that necromancer side quest

Actually got a few keks out of me, fun subversion of the usual tropes

Just google. No one's found a way to regrow it in any way, just get the achievement and revert to the last save.

Ive never played a warlock / summoner in any game before but its fun here. What other games have a good summonigger experience?

True it is a fantasy game

Alright cobweb looting is just completely broken. It was weird enough when I went from 1400 cobwebs to 8900 for no discernable reason. But after farming wyrd spirits for a night in the 2nd map i'm up to nearly 70k cobwebs. Which can't possibly be right.

Worked for me

Ive never played a warlock / summoner in any game before but its fun here. What other games have a good summonigger experience?

Classic baldurs gate games. Low tier summons are there to cover your ass and serve as meat shields, but at higher level, wizards get completely ridiculous summons like sentient flying swords immune to nearly everything.

I have the board game
It's amazing from story, writing and lore side
From the prologue already I can say that shit in game is going to reveal/clear a lot of the things from their universe

In board game you play as 1-4 peasants that go on the journey to save their village and slowly discover how this world works and what went wrong that everything is going to shit

:3

homo nigger faggot you wll never be areal woman

where exactly is the frog that can bite your arm off? i want to make my character a one armed fencer

How are other builds than melee???

Melee is overpowered as fuck. I one-shot everything I fight. Kill bosses in two or three hits. And my double stacked shockwaves from this and my talent tree kill everything around me. It's kinda silly.

>not actually open world, just seperate big hub worlds

Wtf I'm buying this right now

archery feels amazing in moment to moment overworld gameplay but i have no idea if it actually scales well

get a greatsword in the first dungeon

neat, guess I'll be melee

every two-hander since then has been a hammer or axe

finally get a quest to kill some bandit leader who wields a greatsword

it's like half the damage of my hammer

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Are greatswords just not a thing in this game or some shit?

Shortbow is fun, you dash around like a motherfucker shooting niggers. Good dmg as well once you get some gear. Also tried dual wield with the parry sword, parry dagger and parry gloves, you basically have a 20 second parry window, you can parry before the attack fucking starts which is hilarious.

what's the most fun way to play?
I'm just messing around in the intro; magic seems alright but does it actually get past 'fireball' or is it more like skyrim where it just kind of stays that way?
is archery viable outside of a stealth build?
or do I just wait to see with a respec potion?

are there witch hats?

i was confused in demo when i opened menu and there was no tab anywhere for magic, skills, anything
just stats

this is Anon Babble, not your blog
Spill your gay fantasies on the board for that, fucking faggot

I like two worlds, sell me this game. What's so similar to TW?

It's been on my wishlist for a while, but I've always been very suspicous of early access games

get baited by the trailer/intro that I can expect bootleg Heilung music

ingame music is either atmo shit or the bangers are meh

put on Heilung over the game

100% improved my experience also FUCK the devs for baiting me like this

I'm going to try the game but that is the most souless UI I've ever seen. It looks like I asked an AI to combine all AAA games inventory screens and weigh it heavy toward Gay of War and Destiny.

theyre everywhere anon

all kinds of crap you can pick up

good luck knowing what you SHOULD pick up and what's just junk

everything's sort of unpolished

King Arthur's tomb is some kind of Geiger lookin weird-ass place

yup it's eurokino

Oh and don't get me started on shields + Armor Stacking.

These two combined are so ridiculous. I'm basically immortal and constantly reflect damage.

I fucking hate Galahad, fucking french gary stu faggot. I don't care if this is another Galahad I will kill him and Lancelot

unleveled world, enemies, and loot

exploration is actually incredibly rewarding

doesnt hold your hand or baby you

progression feels good

dungeons are varied and not copy paste

good enemy diversity

chunky combat

story is passable

its honestly all i could ask for

Galahad

greatest knight

Fuck him, and fuck the frenchs

Can you wield excalibur? And if so, is it a one-hander or two-hander? I need to know where to build my character.

No. It doesn't find you worthy.

reminder all the """""fR*Nch"""""" additions to the saga are not canon TOTAL FRENCHOID DEATH

I'm having lots of fun with a basic 2 hander + heavy armor build. I put a lot of points into the 2 handed tree and some into health/stamina and dodge. Going forward I'll be putting points into the armor tree which has stuff that improves melee damage and other stats depending on the weight of your weapons and armor. I'll also put some points into improving healing from food/alchemy since I heavily rely on it.

Sadly no

This, Gawain is the greatest knight besides Arthur.

Well that sucks... Is there any really fancy Greatsword to compensate...?

I forgot to include a very important perk

where can i find another one of these? im trying to stack up as much burn chance as i can on this cool ass sword i got from dueling a knight

really fancy

Haven't found any yet. There are greatswords but I haven't found anything that looks fancy/holy

theres a bunch of really cool ones. in the trailer theres one made of like red energy / runes entirely that i havent seen but it looks edgy / fancy as hell

I don't need them to be holy or anything, just do unique things that feel fun. Like I found a shield that shoots out shockwaves when you shield bash. That's pretty cool. But I don't want to use a shield.

103 is my healthbar im guessing its just whatever your max health is. Ive prayed to one using the night mother necklace that breaks on 0hp but nothing happened. Any niggas prayed to a bunch of these and had something happen?

find this in a random chest tucked away in an unassuming place

they really want you to get out and explore

additions

Arthur dosen't exist without French writers. Anything symbolic and meaningful about the story is a result of French sympathy/romantic view for Britons fighting against the Anglo-Saxons. The "real" Arthur in Welsh stories isn't a king but a servant that won a single battle and that's it.

I spent two hours chipping at his health until I became master at evasion & learned his pattern, because he killed me in one hit & attacking his shield costs half a health bar ... fuck your bleed!
Armor carried me well into the 2nd act tho ... where I found his brother, with even better gear ;dd killed his ass in 2minutes tho - ya boi got gud

Hahahahaha
Very eurojank/10
I love it

French sympathy/romantic view for Britons

make a french cuck him and be a better knight too

Lol, french simpathy my ass

The demo of this was really cool but I'll never put down 50 bong for a video game

Is this out already?

why can't I find this on stea-

epic exclusive

Fuck you.

all of these women with strong accents are making me horny

you find one in the tutorial eventually
takes a bit tho
good time to practice your stealth!

lost arm

last save where I had it is a 2 hours away

Fuck this shit.

where on the map did you lose it? i unironically want to lose mine for rp

There is a sleeping frog monster by the river next to the giant tree in Cuanacht. Pet it and it will chew off your arm. It's forever so be warned.

Wait - can you not use two-handers if this happens?

BIG FUCKING WARNING FOR CHAPTER 2 QUEST ORDER:
There is a quest you start from the guy resting on a hospital bed in town. This quest involves you being hollowed out and the gaining "perfect obedience" alongside a very powerful new skill tree. Do this after you gain the power of the shield but before you do anything else. There is a door that can only be opened once you have the shield that removes the Perfect Obedience status.
If you go through that door first, and then get perfect obedience, you're fucking stuck with it. I'm losing 2 hours of game time to fix this. Be warned.

Nope you lose your left arm and can only use one handed stuff after that.

Shiiiiettttt

Cuanacht

im like 20 hours in and still on the first map so i guess ill get there in a while

2h sword

heavy armor

str and end

maxed out parry tree

Yep, it's gaming time.

That's what I did. If you go into the practicality tree (you don't need the stat), the Heavy Armor tree has a skill where you get a percentage of your heavy armor added to your damage too.
Makes you absolutely rediculously overpowered by getting the heaviest armor in the world.

Permanently punish the "pet the chungus" retards

hilarious
that said how do you not die from blood loss

Go back to your containment thread, Level-5 tranny

I just abuse dashes, how do parries work? Does it block all damage if you time it properly or is it just a worse dash?

Galahad or One Eye?

It blocks all damage, and stuns the enemy for a fraction of a second (just enough for you to do a single hit) and I THINK the hit you do while they're recoiling from the parry does more damage.
it's basically impossible to survive with only parries because shit is inconsistent as fuck but you can parry any melee attack from what I've seen.

Does it block all damage if you time it properly

Yes, it also burns through enemy stamina, letting you get executes on them. Also there is a passive in parry tree that gives your next attack after parry +20% crit chance. Timing on a default parry is a bitch (at least if you have reaction times of a disabled 90 year old woman like I do) but parry skill tree again fixes that. I beat the shit out of fingerless colm on veteran right after waking up on the beach just by parrying him to death. Another thing about hitting parries is that you HAVE to tap the button instead of pressing it. If you hold it for 0.1 second longer than you should it turns into a block. I had to use an AHK script to bind a mouse click to a separate button to make sure I would not block, but again that's a skill issue.
