I have a 3900x and 2 3090s, and it gets LOUD trying to keep everything cool, while my brother who went full tempered glass rgb maximum top of the line case barely makes any noise. Moreover, although I lucked out with my case having a side mount, I've noticed other cheap cases often don't have one. I was planning on using a moving the host gpu to the vertical bracket and leaving two gpus free, but with the temps and airflow I don't think that'd be a good idea. Currently I'm using the vertical bracket to mount a fan that blows into the 3090s. I've noticed that the frame kind of sags when moving the case around (when I was adding the fans).
So yeah, I'll probably be buying whatever overpriced case kids want these days for my next build.

I got a glass screen on my case. But i got it on a big desk with no way to knock it over it. I think ultimately she should have gotten a bigger desk and not put it under her table where she could potentially kick her feet into it and smash it. I used to game on a shitty small desk until i moved into a big room and now i have a massive corner desk. II mean putting your build on the floor just leaves it to be a major dust collector anyway, bad idea unless you want to have to clean your case all the time.

That was a fan cooling the socket of a 970 mobo that was in no way rated to handle the 4.7ghz fx 8320 (which is an OC btw - the 8320 never clocked that high out of the box) I was running. That fan is knocking about 5c off the rear of the vrms which was just enough to keep them cool enough to keep up with the cpu power draw. I had this tuned so finely on especially hot days in summer the computer would crash as the vrms got too hot lol.

It's just a really cheap way of constructing it, rather than solid particleboard or plywood, it's laminated with the cardboard cells for structure.
Like, it's "fine" for stuff like doing homework, simple desk stuff, maybe even a monitor or something but the centre of them isn't reinforced, so like particleboard/plywood can sag in book cases, so does the this.
The funny thing is, with the way they're designed and with the pre drilled holes for legs, the centre is completely unsupported, but usually you'd have a metal frame underneath it, supporting the entire thing. Their standing/motorised desks are like this, central support and a standard plywood/particleboard laminate top.

Looks like my new case. I love it. Tons of open space, I can see everything in there and know whether or not something needs to be cleaned, all of the cables are tucked back into the back chamber (along with the fucking PSU). It's great. I need to take two drives out of my old PC and put them into my new one later today, and the part that will be annoying is taking it out of the old one, it's going to be stupidly easy to set them up in the new one.
