Hitman: Blood Money

Is there a way to get Silent Assassin on New Life? I'm having problems stealing the microfilm without either killing the wife or sedating her (which causes a witness to go up).

You can throw a coin at the ceiling of the pool to get a accident kill on her.

how does that accident kill her?

The coin will shatter the glass ceiling so make sure not to stand under it or it will kill 47 as well.

One of the best aspects of Blood Money is the newspapers. So many games are one-issue focused, else they become a cluster fuck of ideas.
Here, the newspapers always has something a bit quirky to say that has nothing to do with your case. The development of schools cutting ammo in the budget, Mar Gras crime being it's lowest in years, that asshole grill, or even that red hair southern chick becoming a Las Vegas playboy (and the fact that she "really" misses her husband/dad).
Even a lot of targets have either nothing to do with it the (((Foundation))) or [[[cloning]]], or if they do it's so minor (like the DNA exchange, protecting a pro-cloning candidate). In a sense, it's like we are seeing one aspect, one face of this world through the lens of cloning, but we barely scratch the surface of other topics.
Ah, the classic destroy-pool-floor technique, why didn't I ever thought of that? I know you can do it in the Christmas map.

pretty cool and random. thanks for the info

is that hitman silent assassin screenshot?

Blood money. The one where you kill CIA and rescue the ginger.

is this the "you didnt beat the game" of hitman?

No that's getting the M4/W2000 with a scope, and using perfect aim to mow down a bunch of incoming enemies, getting their clothes and limiting patrols.

You can accident everyone on the level if you wished to.

I think he means the fact that a coin toss can destroy a pool. Sounds OP

if only there was a video streaming site where you can watch how other people do it

do it then faggot. you wont.

Yeah I will. Here's one. Guards can follow blood trails to bodies. Civilians can alert them of the blood trails as well

Which is the only good reason for not shooting/punching people out, instead of using fiber wire.

neat. first person mod?

F1.

beaten the game multiple times

im just now learning of this

you can also shove her down the pool steps to instantly drown her (accidently)

that guy sniffing her panties

Literally me

here's another

NPCs can hear the click when you try to fire an empty gun. Doesn't seem to work on all weapons though. They can also hear when you're emptying a magazine and loading a new one.

Civilians can pick up guns off the ground when alerted or not. Those not alerted will holster the weapon and might use it against 47 if they feel threatened. Either way they will continually fire the weapon until the current magazine count is 1 and then drop it even if there were spare magazines.

Guards without weapons can also pick up guns and even roll to them. They don't shoot as fast as civilian NPCs but they do reload if there were magazines left.

I never knew there was a difference in shooting ability.
In the casino level you can put a mine in the DNA suitcase, then get alerted if you give it to the Sheik if you're too slow to blow it up.

rig the bbq with gasoline and she'll "accidentally" burn to death

Its interesting to see old technology
The empty click happens in MGS games as well, not sure about the reloading sound.

If you disguise as the pool boy or the clown she'll invite you upstairs to fuck, but she falls asleep. Can steal the microfilm after that.

If you do the same thing but as the pool boy and rig the barbecue the guards will line up around the pool, clap and do the wave as she burns herself alive

Each camera has a dedicated NPC attached to it that will react as if you were right in front of them when committing that action on camera. For instance trespassing on camera will cause them to run to you and tell you to leave the area and killing someone on camera will cause them to run to you and engage in combat. Destroying a camera will also cause them to temporarily wander around near it.

My favorite is the las vegas' ugly dog contest

Interesting, I can understand it from a limited scripting perspective.
Are there instances where it alerts more than one NPC?
Now I'm wondering how it actually works in modern HITMAN, I've sunk so many hours into that game but only ever engage with cameras in a "I need to clear the footage" way

destroying a camera in nuhitman doesn't alert anyone, in standard mode at least, maybe it does in professional.

Are there instances where it alerts more than one NPC?

Actually, yes. I don't know exactly what causes it but it has something to do with how violent your actions are. The NPC logic for pulling groups is quite bizarre. It seems to call a specific number to your location at a time. This mission is a little different in the sense that all of the NPCs on the top floor (except for the CIA agent) are disabled while you're downstairs as well.

The sharks on the level get larger as bodies are dropped into the water and they devour them. They seem to have a size limit though

Guards can use elevators to respond to the player's actions. Only 4 of them are allowed in an elevator at once. They can even use them to move bodybags

The pool on the Christmas map is great, makes a huge pile of dead bimbos on the floors.

Every woman in the game wears heels, probably to reduce the amount of animations they needed. As a result they run significantly slower than men, especially on stairs.

Now that there is a Hirman thread, I have a question. How do I assasinate the Tony Montana guy in Hitman: Codename 47 I can't sneak up to him unseen and no matter how may times I shoot him he doesn't die. There is a minigun in a tent outside, but I can't transport it to his room without being seen.

Am I the only one that only likes Blood Money out of the whole series? I feel like it’s by far the most fun to fuck around in. Hitman 2 had some brutally long and tedious levels and the new ones just feel too scripted and busy to me.

If you didn't bring a sniper rifle from the previous levels to headshot Tony through a window, you are kind of fucked. You might as well start from the first Colombia level unless you want to bang your head against the wall.

You can skip the headbutting and go straight for the knockout if you use first person mode

funny, I expect they had issues with the headbutt looking awful in first person
either that or they do something funky like cull out the body when in first person and that causes the headbutt to not trigger

There is a sniper rifle in one of the guard towers.

We discussed it to death 15 years ago. What else is there to talk about?

it depends which version you play. 2016 and hitman 2(tm) on pro had someone go to investigate destroyed cameras. Don't think the 3rd version does that anymore.

How the fuck do you grab npc from behind in this piece of shit game? Do you have to cheese it by holding gun and doing the "human shield" thing?

The controls are so fucking awful compared to nu hitman ,it's horrible to play.

it's been 19 years anon.

Is the new Hitman's worth a play? I'm debating it but I only have 60 gigs, I don't wanna delete a bunch of stuff to play a mediocre game.

i don't recommend games to people as a rule because my tastes are weird

don't get it, you don't sound like the type of person who would enjoy it.
