its been what... 6 christmases in a row we havent had an AOS week?

AOS used to be an annual Anon Babble event around xmas time that everyone looked forward to all year.
then one day the host literally fucked died.
a new guy took over and started hosting the wrong version with the wrong settings on random Wednesday mid-afternoons in the middle of the year and got salty over why no-one was joining his server.
turned out to be a patreonfag that was just looking for cheap ""server"" donations.
in the end the community split across like 2 or 3 versions of the game so all of them died.
for a long time all we had was 1 lobby on the latest patch on shitty custom maps hosted in South America so they lagged like piss and had cheater admins that would ban you for killing their friends.
so naturally everyone abandoned AOS by then.
this all happened around Covid so at that time everyone had free time to just play other better shit instead.
