Super end game spoilers: just finished Mystery route, feel dumb not ascertaining who X was. I went back to Day 24 in the Mystery/Hunt timeline but I should've gone to Day 24 in other timelines to find out who it was.
At least it's different compared to most anime games. It grew on me. Danganronpa 3's character design were still awful thoughbeit.
