My biggest issue with the game so far is every player rotation is basically the same. You only have 6 skills, so it quickly become obvious what's the best skill route, and its even easier if you are good at parrying.
Does that change at any point at all? I'm getting a bit bored

It's really not that obvious. At least until damage cap is removed and you can go all-in on oneshot offense and nothing else matters

Well, maybe I'm just good at vidya then, because with 6 max skills, and the speed at which you unlock stuff, it's kinda linear how they work together.

Problem is that if you build defense / HP to tank attacks, the game becomes quite bland and uninteresting.

I think the retard screeching "OMG GOTY!!!" and shilling it nonstop are doing more harm than good. This could have been a solid 9/10 really fucking good game, that can potentially be good enough to win goty (it only has to be mid hunter desu)

I tried Sprong and honestly I can dodge/parry most of his attacks fairly well(usually it's just the rapid fire laser that gets me), but it took me like 40 minutes to work down 20% of his health, so I'll probably just leave him for later regardless. Quite a rude awakening though which I got a chuckle out of.

I'm just going to give you the truth anon. Whenever you see the latest popular game get dozens of threads where they post bait OPs (either for or against) it's just the people who post the OPs being complete schizophrenic retards who just want attention in any form possible.
It was especially obvious around Re:Metaphor where we went from 3-4 generic image/webm threads of the game per hour to 0 as soon as they implemented the 15 minute cooldown. Then ofcourse the follow ups for Veilguard and Avowed where it's the same bait OPs spammed 50 times a day.

By beating Sprong(in the lake right before the Forgotten Battlefield with his entire upper body sticking out of the water). very much a late game enemy with over 4 million HP, but his attack pattern is a set cycle and his attacks are actually very easy to dodge/parry.
