Bravely Default and later on, Persona 5, literally sparked massive interest in them in the west for the first time in decades.
Despite 9/10 reviews across the board, you people just chose to ignore them because they didn't have massive marketing budgets.

e33 is the only modern game (made in last 10y) which doesn't make me think "this is just blatant low effort propaganda" every 30min while I'm trying to play it.
