Nintendo Switch 2 preorders from Walmart are now being cancelled
pretty sure this happened with the switch and ps5 as well. leads me to believe that it's only scalpers being affected.
I bought it from Walmart. My delivery date hasn't changed. No cancellation email either. I'm set for launch day release. Bought the 450 dollaroos one. If you're getting cancelled, it'll likely be the MK World bundle ones they oversold.

You'll never get a Switch 2 then, since it will be sold out everywhere for years, and then the Switch 3 will be announced, so you'll wait for that instead

I pre-ordered mine at GameStop, in-person. Realistically, it's probably the last console that will get a midnight launch, so I'm going. I even had fun talking to other bros in line for the pre-orders for about an hour.
BOTW and games like that are not doing 4k at 60. They will be 1080/60 with dynamic resolution and vrr. 4k/30 isn't even on the table for BOTW/TOTK. However "4k" upscaled from 720p at 60 will be possible.
All you have to do is look at the equivalent cpu/gpu (essentially a ps4 pro) to know Switch 2 isn't doing much better than what I just said.

I've spent that past few weeks driving around looking for a store that'll let me pre-order in-person. No fucking luck for me, the best response I've gotten has been to just show up during launch and hope to god they got a spare in from their shipments.
I'm more sad that I wasn't chosen for the Switch 2 lottery on Nintendo's website, I would've gladly paid to have it and a bunch of other stuff shipped over.
