Neither should exist, but the modern creep of the game where meta decks are expected to play through multiple hand traps with their multiple 1 card starters and insane extenders and then squeeze further value out of the gy are all parts of the problem.

There is a BIG difference between fighting your opponent with engine compared to fighting with your opponent with NON-Engine.
When you use your deck's engine to find an answer to your opponent's board you are playing the game. When you use non-engine you rely on dumb luck and hope as you need to draw the perfect ratio because if you draw pure engine you lose, if you draw all non-engine you lose and two hand traps don't cut it anymore.
Yubel was the last deck that would lose to exactly ash and imperm if their hand was unfortunate enough.

You do that play so you can send Paradise which sends another Desirae from ED to Send an opponent's card when they summon. But ideally you are getting to Desirae on field with Agnumday + Sequence, too or more commonly a Rank 6 like Lars or Caesar.

It seems like it changes wildly based on hand traps that hit them and their opening grip but basic seems to be PUNK Jam Fever + Bear on the floor, then a really good endboard could also have the PUNK trap, Dragite, and Pep potentially. PUNK is also very easy to mix with other different decks like an engine so there's tons of weird highly customized versions floating out there
