Make objectively the best item in the game
expect everyone to not use it
why is Miyazaki like this
Make objectively the best item in the game
expect everyone to not use it
why is Miyazaki like this
ok for noobs but if you use it past your first playthrough you just dont get it
The FAP ring and Havel's ring are the best items
It's not 100% phys resist so it triggers my OCD enough to not use it
this shield always registered as green in my mind. kinda felt disconnexted from the world when i took a closer look and realized it was mostly brown
green crest
chloranthy havel ring
standard loadout in all my runs for some reason
Nope. I'm a 100% physical damage enjoyer.
I feel like the stamina regen is a "its all in your head" mechanic. I dont think it actually matters but your brain makes you think it matters
No it matters kind of fucking a lot
makes the ER equivalent tremendously ugly
lmao eat shit permanent 2h users. have fun with your forced TMNT cosplay or fiddling with a buff AoW dagger.
It works with my crucible horn set on a character using the claw and crucible incants. Full blown chimera build.
Wooden shield, my beloved.
play with infinite stamina and see if it doesn't actually matters
I still don't understand why you can swap ashes on weapon but can't swap special effects on shields and armor
such a backwards design that ruins practicality of fashion in the game for no real benefit
I never used it, I always use Havel's greatshield.
Can we all agree the % damage block is the worst mechanic in the series? It makes 90% of shields unusable especially because stamina loss is already punishing. Shields should be reworked to all offer 100% block with differences coming from positive or negative passive effects.
Havel's Ring is better than FaP unless you're doing some "no armor" run. If I'm doing a run that wants an alternative ring (Leo, Spell damage rings, etc) I always drop FaP first. Armor is just that impactful.
It should have a 45% physical reduction and a 35% magical reduction.
have fun with your forced TMNT cosplay
the first thing I did when I discovered the turtle gear in 2 was make a leonardo character, I would enjoy it very much if elden ring was actually good
I've been fucking around with bow builds in Elden Ring cause Ironeye looked cool; they're surprisingly good if you're not a flaming retard that tries to melee with them. How are bows in the earlier souls games?
No, Shadow tower did it right where nothing is 100% block, but theres no stability shit
Fashion players should have to sacrifice mechanical power for swag, to easily differentiate between clownsuiting meta chasers and Anon Babble chads.
Mostly mediocre, bows are designed to compliment melee playstyles not replace them.
I guess you're right... Forcing metachuds to dress like clowns is an upside.
it's bad because... IT JUST IS OK??!?!
its heavier than the heater because...IT JUST IS OK??!?!
Did he make it ugly on purpose?
I usually go FAP and Cloranthy.
I like this one cuz it's got cool snakes on it.
get a ton of different ideas for cosplays and builds in ER
try playing the game
it's a shitty snoozefest that bores me to death and keeps wasting my time with horseriding on empty fields
repeat the attempt 3 times in the span of 3 years
finally uninstall
real shame. maybe next fromsoft game after fortnite souls and tarkov souls...
It breaks my heart that Elden Ring was so boring but so popular.
For me it's the spider
Another very solid choice.
getting hit
HA
for me its Master Roshi maxing
Mine main build had this paired with the lifehunt scythe. Efficient, high reward, effective in pvp
Only autists don't use it
That chip damage is so tiny it doesn't matter
I was so excited seeing stuff like the weapon arts, brilliant weapon switching hotkeys and finally having a fucking jump button but between the miserable open world and every boss just being the bloodborne "tall guy that's actually le crazy monster" it just became too boring to endure even with the co-op mod
To this day I seethe that the warrior hard leather armor has no poise.
I'm literally autistic and I have OCD. Seeing the chip damage feels like it physically hurts my brain.
Technically it works fine. Why? Because you still get the DR reduction from gear, on top of not taking a counter hit.
In practice?
Healing is ultra punishing, and there are very few real tools to deal with chip damage.
And the ultra shields with high stability usually have 100% block too, meaning its not a worthwhile tradeoff.
DS3 is technically the only game in the series where you REALLY could go for it, with Regen buff + Regen Ring + 1 faith weapon in each hand But DS3 is also t he game where the Sharp/Heavy infusion is completely cracked, and shield poke has bugged code.
Poison Arrows are good in DS2
chad
Blood Shield
Bloodbite Ring
Life Hunt Scythe
It's god-slaying time.
;)
This one is basically not worth using, the extra stamina regen it gives is basically nothing, while the Grass Cress is a massive stamina regen boost.
I mean... I would rather just save the equip load for more poise armor in DS1 which is far more valuable and broken than slightly more stam regen. Especially considering it's easy to get your green bar up with the pinwheel mask and fap ring
In DS3 the premium sidearm is the blessed Caestus which is way the fuck better especially considering you can just get chloranthy ring in settlement and Chlor ring +3 in the DLC
sidearm holy damage in case you need it for undeads
constant HP (or FP if you go Simple) regen for free
great parry
great WA
0.3 weight and no min requirements
It's not bad and I wouldn't call it noob bait, but it feels more like the "this is my 100th playthrough and I just want to throw on something easy" item. Blessed Caestus does make you go out of the way for the blessed gem, and you need to upgrade it for better regen so there's some investment.
BASED. My most recent playthrough I was doing Gravelord Sword + med shield and was so happy when I got this to drop at the asylum revisit.
buff AoW dagger.
Biggest noob bait ever it actually trigs my autism
Just fucking put a few points in faith use the miracle, it lasts way longer especially if you use the ring.
always loved how this thing looks. always used it in pvp
back in my days the grass crest was 100% and you could ninja flip with midroll
So many player ghosts have this on their back lol
90% of people who the the grass shield never have it leave their back
objectively best item in the game is also objectivley the most aesthetically pleasing
you can't be too mad
The best item in the game is ring of FAP. As far as shields go, this thing is lke 4th place behind small leather (negligible weight), heater (good balance between weight and stability) and black knight (highest stability) shields.
most overrated item and stat in all souls
expect everyone to not use it
Who the fuck are you quoting you retarded faggot?
