Also modern audience which is made out of fags doesn't care about old great fps, look at ion fury it didn't do crazy numbers if I recall, there was a resurgence in boomer fps but it was mostly contained in its own niche.

They used to upload on YouTube a lot of DOOM MIDI covers, one of my favorites being Eulogy from TOOL, and a lot of original MIDI songs as well, with beautifully painted art for thumbnails, most likely made by the same person, as far as I can remember. Some songs were Bionicle related too
