May 2025... I am forgotten...
AI Limit
I like women
I see.
DLC when?
I just downloaded it earlier today, going to try it later tonight.
this nigga has literal crystal hands that shoot magic
must be a human
Vikas the king of retards
Has any other game been forgotten so fast?
I unironically loved this game. Khazan was super polished but for all its flash its story just crashes by the mid point. AI was rough around the edges but it felt sincere and the story was genuinely engaging. Stone/Shirley/Delpha best NPC’s.
Gonna play this after Khazan
forgotten?
NPC quests are important to the lore and main story
ER tier design where you have to randomly find them around the world
Great game but devs should stop copying bad game design just because From did it.
But I remember this game
everyone praises its level design
it's an incredibly linear game and you rarely if ever revisit previous maps
were they all just marketers?
here's how levels are properly connected in bloodborne
and here's AI limit
Not much to talk about, especially with the lacklust NG+. The bosses needed more HP.
oops didn't attach pic
spent a few minutes in ms paint
I played Khazan and then AI Limit back-to-back, it's been a good year for action RPGs.
yes
there's still non stop discussion for xenoblade chronicles, expedition 33, even ff7 rebirth
this game is forgotten despite all the shilling for it that happened
Level design isn't just about non-linearity. The level design in AI Limit was praised because even though it is linear in the way the game and progression is structured, the levels had had great exploration and hidden branch aspects, alongside very striking and memorable enemy placement and combat encounters. There's a lot more that goes into level design than just non-linear zone progression.
Khazan and then AI Limit
both have been instantly forgotten kek
it's a short and sweet singleplayer game. we've already discussed everything about it and that's okay.
I am literally playing it right now.
I remember them, I could care less if they're "forgotten". They both had lots of good threads around release, I don't expect games like these to get nonstop threads months after release.
the levels had had great exploration and hidden branch aspects
every game has these, even complete snoozefests like FF16
alongside very striking and memorable enemy placement and combat encounters
like? can't remember any, maybe the 2 jetpack guys. even the bosses are forgettable.
I don't expect games like these to get nonstop threads months after release
it's only been one month. and truly memorable games like ff7 rebirth are still getting threads a year after release. same is happening for expedition 33. hell even xenoblade chronicles is getting discussion.
Try using a more engaging picture next time, tourist
Anon, I do not care about how popular a game is. Also E33 just released. AI Limit is a more niche game and that's fine, I enjoyed the game and the threads/discussion it got.
election tourist calling anyone a tourist
Cleary just cybernetic limb, loads of humans have those nowadays.
What shilling? It's been this one proto-general since it released.
e33 is the one with non stop shilling
Literally finished it with the true ending yesterday
t'was ok, felt a bit janky here and there, but it was a commendable effort, there really isn't anything to overly hate about it, if anything it was really easy, but maybe thats just because im used to souls likes already and I just focused on maxing LP and STR in my first playthrough, only loskid and ursula killed me more than three times, and the true final boss but that was just because the squares spawned way too far several times
I don't think it was even THAT heavily discussed, I had to rummage through old week long threads and shitty fextra to even find something about it, I went my 1st and more than halfway through my 2nd playthrough completely blind
micro-bikini mod when?
this game and dolls nest were being repeatedly shilled by tranime weebs who wanted to sucker everyone else into playing their shitty waifu simulators
it's a sharteen
Figured
Loskid bros, have we gotten more fanart yet?
you can't talk about video games on the video games board unless the game is popular
Retard.
no one talks about this video game because it's shit
lol
don't forget all the shilling for how it's got le epic level design only for it to get exposed like this
No...
Anon, the levels themselves are well designed. Not a lot of Souls-likes focus on the level design, which is why people praised it.
Anon, the levels themselves are well designed
A bunch of sewers
Le blighttown
A literal poison swamp
That's not what level design means you disingenuous faggot
This is AI Limit versus FFXVI or Kazhan
juggling Shadow of the Erdtree, Stalker 2, Clair Obscura, and this at the same time
How the fuck do you niggies finish games so quick?
FFXVI
Not comparable. It lets you fight a dragon in space, it doesn't need level design.
Please accept my silly doodle, Arrisa-appreciators.
every game has these, even complete snoozefests like FF16
I don't understand this argument. You're saying AI Limit's level design and exploration is bad because other games have exploration? Not every game has good exploration either. It's a tough thing to get right. You can easily have games that take the lazy route, or vice versa games that reward you for taking side paths or keeping them in mind when progressing a level.
As for memorable combat encounters and bosses... Plenty? The sniper from the ruins, the three church soldiers immediately following that, basically the entirety of withered forest with all the bridges and scaffolding you go across.
By your own logic, all a game needs is empty corridors that lead into each other like a bunch of spaghetti for a game to have "good level design".
So you admit that this fag is wrong. Or are you changing goalposts again?
Just play it one at a time stupid nigger. Though I agree on Expo 33, I'm swamped in my backlog right now and really want to get to that game. I played SotE and AI Limit basically right when they came out
It doesn't have interconnected levels like dark souls 1
You could argue bloodborne and ds3 are not interconnected but bloodborne still has special moments like when you climb the ladder in the forest and end up on iosefkas clinic
Yup. And? Did you actually read the reply chain before replying?
most of the arguments being made are saying it has better level design than sony movie games, sekiro boss rushes and modern square enix
which is fine but it doesn't really compare to ds1 or even bloodborne
also, some of the hidden stuff feels hidden for the sake of being obscure. like it's literally impossible to find them without a guide. like one of them is literally an invisible platform because fuck you.
You said it has bad level design because of the lack of non-linear interconnectedness. I was just refuting that. If you have other problems with the level design please feel free to bring them up. Inflammatory blanket statements like "I don't remember fighting a single enemy in this game" aren't very indicative of anything constructive either
2 spells trivialize the entire game
aren't available until after you beat the literally impossible delayed attack cancer MANDATORY mid game boss because the devs really wanted their own lady maria
Cute!
Level design is not level inter-connectivity.
Every soulslike game needs a filter boss.
it's what makes ds1 unique and still relevant today
the one time i choose dex i get fucked over with the weapons
randomly
motherfucker there's like 2 missable NPC interactions and one of them is the secret boss, the rest are always put on the main path, they specifically made it so you can't possibly miss them
You do get infinite respecs pretty early on so it doesn't matter as much
I'd say this is actually good game design because no one can be bothered to research the best/worst builds in your no name souls clone
I remember there being a good spread of STR, Dex, and Quality weapons. Maybe you just missed some pickups.
just found the katana
WE BACK NIGGA
You sound way too flame war brain-rotted from browsing Anon Babble. You shouldn't care about how much "engagement" a singleplayer game gets, take a break from this place and play more games.
