Monster Hunter Wilds was the biggest blunder ever. The game is so fucking boring.

You can fight Arch Tempered Rey Dau like 3 times to get the tickets for the Y armor I don't even have the patience to check if it's better or not. Ponder why the ARCH TEMPERED version of a monster feels like a normal version of a monster from either previous game. Then stop playing again.

The new Rey Dau is wildly different I fought him for the first time yesterday he chains his attacks entirely differently and fuck that jumping railgun bullshit

I've fought AT Rey Dau multiple times and I still don't know what they actualy changed aside from every attack having explosions
he seems the exact same otherwise

It's insane that they keep streamlining things but removed the need for things to be streamlined in the first place

shinies disappears in minutes and long gathering animation makes grabbing them a pain in the ass

now shinies will never gone but they cut down the gathering animation significantly anyway

make huge hunting environments for the ecosystem meme

make Seikrets have autorun so people will just skip them anyway

Rise removed Drinks, Wilds brought them back

sprinkles endemic life that can bypass environmental damage all over hunting areas anyway

making Well-Done Steak one by one takes time, eventually you can grill them 10 at a time or just request for them at the canteen

now the game just hands out Rations that you can keep like it's nothing

don't forget

you lose food effects after carting, so you had to keep items on you that increase your health/stamina, or the items to craft more of them

make it so well-done steaks give you max health and stamina, thus making max and ancient potions useless (but still in the game for some reason)

also make it so that food effects last for a certain amount of time instead of expiring on carting, so now you might just have them randomly run out in the middle of hunts with little warning

This was clearly made so you can go do investigations back to back, without having to worry about food expiring every time after a hunt since now you don't need to go back to camp nor be at camp to start a hunt. It's also why food now lasts for 1 hour max.
Plus you can also check when it's going to run out, it's available anytime if you hold LB, a timer shows up next to your health and stamina, that's how long the food buffs last.
I still agree that it should still expire on carts though, you get so much food it's crazy.

Because of the village trades and camps I ended up doing some decent amount of exploration. But like with any MH exploration evaporates in the long run.
I never thought of it as a negative, almost like a reward for reaching the big leagues.
I think now a days people will immediately look up on where to gather these items and then complain they didn't need to explore.
