Most anime are based off manga that peter out and finish with tacked on endings that conclude nothing after being drawn out for the sake of it, while JRPGs are at least free to be finished products that actually move towards definite conclusions and tie up their themes, plotlines and writing arcs in a complete form.
The idea being pushed that there were always a ton of people who specifically loved FFX and have been waiting years for a "real turn based RPG" just like it for decades, and have played nothing else that satisfied them, but don't give a fuck at all that this new 'turn based' game is mainly about timing button presses to avoid damage instead, and yet these hyper FFX obsessives (who've seemingly never heard of FFX-2) also "find anime cringe" and really wanted a western game with safehorny designs and made with mass produced slop art all along.
