Metaphor and E33 are both masterpieces in their own right. Metaphor needs it's inevitable DLC to improve the endgame, but otherwise it's Atlus best game imo.
XCX is fun but still a singleplayer MMO like all of Monolith's games.
Rebirth has a good combat system and character progression mechanics, but dogshit everything else. I seriously don't understand the people who say it's a 10/10 goty unless they're completely blinded by nostalgia.

Confusing Anime nonsense where Cloud saves Aerith but not really. She might be alive but only in an alternate universe or something. And oh yeah, the white materia is gone but not really oh get ready for 3 multiple phase bossfights back to back.

I'm gonna be totally clair... I wish I could obscur this one from my memory.
Basically the exploration is dive into 3 levels, foot, skell(aka the robots) and flying, most of the game you will explore by foot, while exploring you don’t have stamina and don’t suffer from fall damage and different from other xenos I will say that the level scaling in the maps are actually distribute correctly(like you can find monster level 10-30-60 but most of them will not agro useless you get to close to them or you start the combat first),the maps are also special in the way you explore them, for example the Noctilum(aka the forest area) work like a lever where you start in a jungle, then you go to plain and you culminate in a mountain range with a cascade that you can only explore by flying, or for example Cualdros that is the end game area you can explore at early game and you will have a lot of teleporter around the map to help you with the foot exploration our you can explore it later with the skell and fly into the skies directly to the pillars, is this kind of “explore the way you want” that makes the game so fun, or at least for me.
