Scripted boss fights where you are prevented from killing them so a cutscene can play
Combat music is obnoxious as fuck and plays for the smallest enemy possible
Enemy design encounters outside bosses are also MMO designed where they will stop chasing you 20 feet from their standing position and regain all their healthy
Boss design is lifted from FF14 with raid mechanics, highlighted circles and shapes on the ground to warn you of an incoming attack.
Almost no party interaction or character interaction outside the hub areas
Game is heavily frontloaded with the best part of it being the free Demo.
Kill God is the final boss again.
Ben Starr is now in the better final fantasy game and will be remembered more for voicing Verso than Clive in ff16.
