Schools give out tablets to students now over textbooks. Most kids install roblox and other games on it. No body gives a shit unless you try to game during class.
Just thinking about it I would have done so much better in High School if I had a tablet. I would often forget my textbooks because my locker was too far away and you only have 5 minutes between each class.

It has a ton of game modes and a lot of the kids and failed adults making them have learned to introduce all the corpo ways of keeping player retention. I mean there are absolutely dogshit grindy games that probably have tens of thousands of people being funneled into just one game type of a hundred different copies. Most of the stuff runs well enough on any hardware. f2p with microtransactions out the ass on everything so you're incentivized to spend the more time you play and then sunk cost fallacy kicks in. it's also a culture phenomenon like no other for those kids, and somehow it hasn't died out.
