How does fatshark keep getting away with this? They've committed too many atrocities that I had to skip over some of the shady stuff they've done over the course of this game to keep it under word limit.

He won't. He's obviously a local arbites. FS has given up on building a cogent narrative. This has been the case since a commissar with an entire regiment showed up on atoma for "reasons".

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a new intro dedicated for the class.
That or the Arbite is disgraced because they did something bad.

Shartide was a mistake, the "Rejects" were a mistake, character customization was a mistake, making it all imperiumwank niggers instead of an inquisitor that employs humans and xenos was a mistake, slophammer 40keks was a mistake.

He'll either be their on-site handler or a guy who didn't meet his curb-stomping quota (but for some reason still gets to larp like he's a cop). I think it's more likely to be the former.

40K's setting has almost nothing to do with why V2 is better than DT. I don't have much of a problem with the rejects but the game would have been objectively better if we got the Atoma Five instead of random cannon fodder.

It's insane how many mindless pay pigs they have backing them. I'm not even joking, but on release, you were outnumbered by walking wallets in the thousands. When ever they have updated their shop, you would see people blasting their wallets and being fully decked in mtx within seconds. It's fucking insane.

VT2 was enough for me to never trust FartShart ever again. Darktide was total garbage too, at least at launch, but fortunately I didn't have to pay for it specifically because it was on goypass. I don't really give a fuck what they're trying to do, their games just keep getting worse and worse somehow despite being basically copies of each other.

The trailer opening being basically 1:1 of that scene in Dredd where he connects to the speakers and tells the bad guys they're fucked is a nice touch.
